Multiple fire crews are at the scene of a large fire at an egg farm in Bozrah on Saturday. Firefighters said the fire is in a chicken coop at Hillandale Farms on Schwartz Road. According to Colchester Fire Department, there are water issues and more tankers are being called. In a video posted by Norwich Fire Department, there appears to be extensive damage to the chicken coop. Crews are still working to extinguish the fire. There is large amounts of smoke in the area. The smoke from the fire can be seen on Route 2 near exit 24.

A food processing plant in the Canadian province of New Brunswick went up in flames Friday. Jim LeBlanc, owner of W.E. Acres Crabmeal Ltd., said the structure was a "total loss," according to the Canadian Television Network. A historic flour mill in northeast Oregon was destroyed in a fire Wednesday morning. According to the Associated Press, firefighters initially doused a small fire at the at the Pendleton Flour Mill on Tuesday afternoon, however, it reignited at about 4 a.m. Wednesday. They say the building was soon fully engulfed because of the dry grain stored in the mill. There were no reports of injuries.

THE entire city of Wadena was under a shelter in place order as hazardous materials burned at Minnesota Valley Irrigation.
