West Palm Beach Police arrested a man on who has quite the familiar name: Vladimir Putin. No, it was not the President of Russia who ended up in jail, but a resident of the city who shares his name. A member of the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office confirmed to NBC 6 that Putin was also charged with resisting arrest following the incident outside a Publix.

Police responded to a Publix supermarket in downtown West Palm Beach following a report of a man screaming at employees. Managers tried to get Putin to leave but he refused. He told West Palm Beach Police officers he missed his ride. Putin appeared in court Monday morning. He's also facing a charge of resisting/obstructing officer without violence.

A Stonecrest woman was arrested after she allegedly entered the vehicle of a man who was eating breakfast Wednesday morning at Darrell’s Diner in Summerfield. The man said he saw 54-year-old Valerie Jo Marra sitting on a bench out in front of the restaurant, according to an arrest report from the Marion County Sheriff’s Office. While he was eating breakfast, another patron patron advised him that Marra had moved from the bench. A millionaire has released video of his former fiancee hitting herself in the face during a temper tantrum to rubbish claims he abused her. Scott Mitchell, 45, has released the footage of Mary Hunt, 29, supposedly beating herself up as part of a tense legal battle. The businessman from Tampa Bay, Florida, has accused her of stealing $2.1million worth of jewelry from the safe in his sprawling mansion when they split last summer. Hunt has claimed Mitchell was violent towards her, giving her black eyes and bruises, before he broke off the wedding in August.

The vast majority of Florida Jews will vote for Hillary Clinton over Donald Trump in the presidential election in November, a new poll has found, according to JTA. The last two polls, from FAU and the Florida Chamber of Commerce, had Trump ahead narrowly. This new one from Mason-Dixon has Hillary ahead by two, but I think the actual margin is less important right now than the fact that it does appear to be tight in Florida.
