When I wrote my recent Townhall column, “Hillary Will Be President Of Nothing,” I expected that the response from the foam-lipped Left would be irrational, unhinged hate. And I looked forward to it since, like all good conservatives, I feed off of impotent leftist rage. But little did I know that my column would itself be the recipient of one of those legendary “trigger warnings” that liberal feminist believe strong, independent, capable womyn need to avoid the emotional catastrophe of being offended. Nor did I expect that I would also have to apologize to a hideous demigod of unrepentant evil....

The wording of the judgment is brutal. An appeal court judge has effectively told the ex-wife of a wealthy veterinary surgeon to “get a job, love” (my abbreviation). It is imperative, said the judge, “that the wife go out to work and support herself”. Tracey Wright, a 51-year-old former legal secretary, riding instructor and mother of two, has lost her appeal against a family court ruling to reduce the maintenance she receives in future from her former husband. The case is seen as a landmark ruling for ex-partners of wealthy spouses. The gravy train has come off the rails.

In a stunningly evil and disgusting article, a feminist only willing to identify herself as “Lana” has described her decision to abort her child, based solely on the fact that he was a boy. Lana begins her article by explaining that “the patriarchy has been well entrenched since the dawn of time,” and continues by writing about an argument she had with a man on an airplane, while she was pregnant, to summarize what she deemed “extreme patriarchy.” The description of the argument is straight forward: Lana was flying to San Francisco to participate in an Occupy Wall Street rally....

A lot feminists today insist that a person must be pro-choice to be pro-woman. This is highly ironic since many first wave feminists were adamantly against abortion, and in fact many of the anti-abortion laws overturned by Roe v. Wade were put in place by pro-life feminists in the 19th century. Rather than viewing abortion a tool of female empowerment, they viewed abortion as a sign of the oppression of women by men.
