  • Discussion: Why you think a legal notice to officials won't work, feedback please

    10/21/2021 6:47:49 AM PDT · by planner1 · 15 replies
Feedback please. Constructive comments please. The thought was to put LOCAL county officials, generally health departments, or a CEO, boss on legal notice of things they don't seem to know about COVID19 successes in several countries with super dense populations. A legal notice about the latest Ivermectin Observational Studies in several countries that have happened lately in large dense populations. That would let them and you know that they know for sure and with possibly professional legal service. If they don't act accordingly, in this case by distributing Ivermectin to people with symptoms or make it easy to get or...

    Vanity
Anyone else notice that many “news sites” have eliminated the Feedback option? It seems that the MSM was finding too often that their narrative was destroyed when it became obvious that the majority of those responding in their Feedback section were effectively destroying their stand that the majority actually shared their liberal views.

Ebay did not like a friend's feedback commentary (it WAS a violation of the rules) and has indefinitely suspended a friend's account. Ebay did not like the conservative commentary in the feedback. No warning notice of violation was given, the friend did NOT know all feedback had to be relevant to the transaction. Representative said suspension could not be appealed and was more or less permanent. Please send me a private message to discuss this. I'll give that person advice on what to do after folks comment.

After 5 years of enduring enjoying my vitally important yet otherwise meaningless ramblings, I thought the time was right for me to sit back and let you have your say. From time to time, I will pose a question for discussion and debate. Post your opinions and P.O.V.'s in the comments section. For your consideration: Will Obama serve a second term?

Should Gwen Ifill recuse herself from the VP debate given that her Obama book is coming out Jan. 20, 2009? For those who think she ought to, they might make their feelings known to PBS CEO Paula Kerger. Her phone is 703-739-8619. They might also wish to address their concerns with Sharon Rockefeller, CEO of WETA/Washington from where Ifill broadcasts and does her show. Ms. Rockefeller’s phone is 703-998-2089.

We are a little late to the party, but it is worth adding a few words now that our favourite amateur contrarian is at it again. As many already know, the Forum on Physics and Society (an un-peer-reviewed newsletter published by the otherwise quite sensible American Physical Society), rather surprisingly published a new paper by Monckton that tries again to show using rigorous arithmetic that IPCC is all wrong and that climate sensitivity is negligible. His latest sally, like his previous attempt, is full of the usual obfuscating sleight of hand, but to save people the time in working it...

    The News & Observer ^ | 4/24/08 | Daves: We're not pulling the ad
Reports that the N.C. Republican Party is pulling a planned TV advertisement about Barack Obama are false, Republican chairwoman Linda Daves said today. "I can't be emphatic enough that we're running the ad," Daves said, reports David Ingram. "We are not pulling the ad. It has never been a consideration for us to pull the ad." Several media outlets, including MSNBC, have reported that the party reversed course Thursday and would not run the ad. The ad has been scheduled to begin running Monday on evening newscasts in North Carolina. Daves said the reaction received by the party is running...

EBay abandons negative comments about buyers   Suzy Jagger and Jonathan Richards   All buyers and sellers are equal in the virtual auction world of eBay, but buyers are about to become more equal than everyone else. From May, eBay, the world's biggest online auction house, will block sellers from posting any negative or neutral comments about buyers who purchase their goods to coax more of them on to the site. The move means that anyone selling an item will have little recourse to complain that the purchaser of their Britney Spears T-shirt or antique Whitby egg-timer had been...

    Internet. Top Ten Winter Brews
Seems like I just posted my top ten beer recommendations for autumn but it's time for winter beers. This season produces a lot of really good small production seasonals in the forms of Christmas beers and winter warmers. Christmas beers are often malty and complex. Some are made with fruit or spice and some rely on artful malt or hops combinations for wonderful complexity. The winter warmers are similar though they are rarely made with any adjuncts. Both contain higher than usual amounts of alcohol. And so, in no particular order, here are my wintertime beer recommendations for 2006. Although...

When the Catholic League got a tip from one of its members that Lands’ End refuses to use the word “Christmas” in its catalog—even though it sells Christmas items—we verified its authenticity.  Printed below is part of the reply we received from Merlin W. Gorsline in the Customer Relations Department to an inquiry we made regarding the refusal of Lands’ End to mention the word “Christmas”:  “We find ourselves in a difficult position with this issue.  As a result, we have adopted the ‘holiday’ terminology as a way to comply with one of the basic freedoms granted to all Americans:...

MIAMI — Scientists analyzing 20 years of satellite data have confirmed an atmospheric spike in a prime fuel behind global warming, according to a study in the current issue of the journal Science. The finding is important because it used real-world readings to verify what computer simulations have predicted is happening in a key zone of Earth's atmosphere, said Brian Soden, a University of Miami scientist and lead author of the study. It's getting wetter up there, which means it's getting hotter down here. "This is one of the first studies to show it is increasing at the same rate...

As Conservatives we are different. We believe in the positive aspects of the United States and what our Blessed country and ideals stand for. And we are proof that one does not always need to be in government service to 'defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic'.    It is obvious that in today's media-centric world it can be difficult to believe that one voice makes a difference, but it does. Each of us have but one voice, and every one makes a difference. It is thru combined efforts that our Voice is heard.    We can use this Voice...

Los Angeles - A Los Angeles man who says he was libelled in eBay's "feedback" section of its website has sued the online auction house for refusing to remove statements he says damaged his reputation. Analysts say the case, sparked by an online sale of vintage Hollywood magazines, cuts to the heart of what makes eBay work: the power of buyers and sellers to keep an eye on each other. Robert Grace, publisher of a Los Angeles legal newspaper, sued eBay and Hollywood memorabilia dealer Tim Neeley this week in a California Superior Court after the website refused to remove...
