MINNEAPOLIS - One person is dead and others are trapped under rubble after a building exploded and collapsed at Minnehaha Academy. The explosion happened at Minnehaha's upper campus on 3100 West River Parkway in Minneapolis.

BIXBY, Oklahoma - Local and federal authorities are investigating after an explosion outside an Air Force recruiting station in Bixby late Monday. Bixby Police say they started getting calls about an explosion just after 10:30 p.m. The recruiting station is located in the Post Rock Plaza in the 10400 block of South 82nd East Avenue just off South Memorial Drive.

The 230 Kilovolt equipment, which carries high voltage electricity and distributes it to customers in the surrounding area, caught fire, according to a LADWP press release. The fire only affected one portion of the station but power to and from the facility has been shut off while LAFD personnel work to put the fire out, the Department added. Officials at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida, are warning airmen and nearby residents to avoid a perimeter around McKinley Climatic Lab after an unexplained explosion occurred at the on-base facility Wednesday. "A little before 10 a.m., an explosion occurred at McKinley Climatic Lab," Eglin officials said in a Facebook post. No injuries have been reported. First responders established a 1,000-ft perimeter, and surrounding areas were evacuated, the post said. Officials said to avoid contact with smoke from the blast, even as it continues to dissipate.

A French fitness model and lifestyle blogger is dead after a "domestic accident." The BBC reports Rebecca Burger, 33, was killed Sunday when a can of whipped cream suddenly exploded, apparently causing a heart attack. French media said she died of cardiac arrest after the dispenser burst, striking her in the chest. Her Instagram account, which had more than 160,000 followers, shared a photo after her death showing the whipped cream siphon that "exploded and struck Rebecca's thorax, resulting in her death."
