  • Biden is now being surrounded by a huge posse of aides during public strolls 'to try and distract from the 81-year-old's shuffling walk'

The posse of aides surrounding Joe Biden appears to be growing, a month after it was reported they are now joining him on the march from the White House to the presidential helicopter. A video of the president making his way to the chopper went viral after it showed around 10 people joining him as part of his the entourage, including White House Press Secretary Karine Jean Pierre. The aides think that having themselves walk between Biden and journalists' cameras will draw less attention to Biden's halting and stiff walk, Axios reported in April.
  • What the Secret Service Could Learn from Drunken Sailors (The Curse of the Unpaid Prostitute)

What the Secret Service could learn from drunken sailors Roberto Loiederman, a merchant seaman from 1966 to 1974, is a writer in California. He co-authored “The Eagle Mutiny,” an account of the 1970 mutiny on a U.S. vessel. What happened in Cartagena, Colombia, with the Secret Service seems unsavory to me, but not for the reasons you might think. I make no judgments about men spending a night with escorts. As far as I’m concerned, those who take a holier-than-thou attitude about this are like Inspector Renault in “Casablanca” when he says he’s “shocked, shocked” to discover there is gambling...

President Barack Obama is joining the cast of Entourage, sort of. The HBO show's star Adrian Grenier announced on his official Facebook page on Friday that he would make an Entourage movie if Obama agreed to make a cameo — and he's agreed, Grenier claims. "I promised to make the Entourage movie if he would do a cameo. He agreed," Grenier said, posted above a photo of himself with the President.

"In my own life, in my own small way, I have tried to give back to this country that has given me so much",she said. "See, that's why I left a job at a big law firm for a career in public service". --Michelle Obama-- ...No, Michele Obama does not get paid to serve as the First Lady and she doesn't perform any official duties. But this hasn't deterred her from hiring an unprecedented number of staffers to cater to her every whim and to satisfy her every request in the midst of the Great Recession. Just think Mary Lincoln...

The heads of government in London for the G-20 summit are discussing serious and weighty issues, which in time will be duly reported on, but right now the British press is entranced by the sheer size of President Obama's traveling entourage. And no wonder. Obama arrived with 500 staff in tow, including 200 Secret Service agents, a team of six doctors, the White House chef and kitchen staff with the president's own food and water. And, according to the Evening Standard, he also came with "35 vehicles in all, four speech writers and 12 teleprompters." For sure, our president is...

President Barack Obama can’t stand to be without his “Entourage.” Call it a guilty pleasure, or maybe it just rings familiar to him. The HBO series about an aspiring actor features a fast-talking agent named Ari, based on the real-life brother of Obama’s chief of staff, Rahm Emanuel. For less R-rated fare, he tunes into “Hannah Montana” or “SpongeBob SquarePants” in the White House with his daughters. Aides said he would have watched Monday night’s NCAA championship on TiVo on his way home from Iraq Tuesday night. Jon Stewart’s smackdown of CNBC’s Jim Cramer? Obama was eager to see it....

Socialite Paris Hilton came unstuck after a night on the tiles, as she stumbled in her gold high heels and had to be rescued by her entourage - but she seemed a lot more stable later on when bizarrely she was seen scaling an iron gate. Paris appeared to have taken full advantage of the free bar at the Emmy party she'd attended, and almost came a cropper as she tripped up on the kerbside. Scroll down for more... On the elegant office set representing the headquarters of Ari Gold’s new palatial Hollywood talent agency, Doug Ellin sat in the glass-walled ersatz conference room, about where the fictional über-agent Ari might sit, talking about the utterly unexpected phenomenon of the series he created, HBO’s “Entourage.”

Jeremy Piven is not a cutthroat superagent. He's not married and he hasn't just been ousted from a high-powered Hollywood firm. In other words, he's nothing like Ari, the character he plays on HBO's "Entourage," which returns Sunday night for its third season. Piven does have plenty in common with the show, which follows up-and-coming actor Vince Chase and his entourage of New York pals as Ari and other Hollywood forces shape his future. As real-life actors, each cast member brings personal experiences to "Entourage," Piven says. "It's not a documentary, but there are certain energies out there in this...

After more than 40 wars, Dale Dye knows his stuff--and those are just the battles he has fought in films. The veteran of Platoon , Saving Private Ryan, and Band of Brothers began his military-movie-consulting career after racking up three Purple Hearts in the Marines in Vietnam. At age 60, he tweaks scripts, whips actors into shape, directs, and acts; he plays himself on HBO's Entourage, training the main character to be "Aquaman." Not only does he appear as a general in The Great Raid, starring Benjamin Bratt and based on the World War II mission to save 500 American...

Detroit mayor ran up $210K on credit card Associated Press DETROIT - Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick, whose city is struggling with a projected $230 million deficit, has charged at least $210,000 for travel, meals, drinks and other purchases on his city-issued credit card, public records show. The charges, reported Tuesday by the Detroit Free Press, cover the first 33 months of Kilpatrick's four-year term that began in January 2002. They include 78 charges for meals from January 2002 through September 2004, some of them at restaurants in New York and Washington. Kilpatrick spokesman Howard Hughey said the mayor's travels have been...

GENEVA (AP) - Saudi King Fahd moved on to the next phase of his summer vacation Wednesday, taking his 12-aircraft entourage from Switzerland to Spain, where he has a home on the Mediterranean coast. Jean-Luc Portier, a member of Geneva airport's management team, said the 81-year-old monarch left with a fleet of 12 large passenger jets in the afternoon. He has been vacationing since May in a residence he owns in Geneva and was headed to his home near the southern Spanish resort of Marbella. For much of Fahd's stay, many of Geneva's five-star hotels were booked solid by...
