Before I get to the thread title material, let me say that Bush is not going away anytime soon. Obama brought him up today with Medicare Part D and will continue to bring him up again & again. If Romney praises Med. part D, Obama can say "See, Romney agrees with me that the first Republican president was right about the federal gov't..." as he said today. If Romney attacks Med. Part D as being big gov't, Obama can retort "Why is Romney attacking me for attacking Bush? Romney has also attacked Bush." And the issue of whether or not...

Be in Lansing on May 12 as part of a summit to create a citizen based initiative to ensure election integrity in Michigan. As a highly placed Tea Party leader told me recently, "All our efforts to support Liberty will be lost if the election is stolen." The Great Catherine Englebrecht, founder of True the Vote, will be the keynote speaker, and the event is open to anyone interested in voter fraud problems-you don't even have to be from Michigan. The program organizers have big plans to create a network of citizens to guard against fraud, and make sure election...

Back in 2008, I broke numerous campaign stories on the millions of dollars in illegal contributions that Obama received. It was meticuloulsy documented in my book, The Post-American Presidency: The Obama Administration's War on America. Also, check out my article in The American Thinker, "Obama's Foreign Donors: The media averts its eyes." It was feckless, reckless and lawless. Worse, Obama got away with it. All of it. Atlas broke the story of tens of thousands of dollars coming in from Hamas-controlled Gaza, millions coming in from Muslim countries, and imaginary Obama contributors: "Good Will," "Loving you," "Doo da DooDa" and...

The Romney campaign, renowned for its oppo-heavy strategy, didn’t even have an oppo book on Rick Santorum a few days before the Iowa caucuses, so surprised were they by his surge. Jon Huntsman nearly decided in November to leave the GOP and run as an independent. And before one of the debates, Rick Perry sang “I’ve Been Working on the Railroad” in a restroom. These details are from Mike Allen and Evan Thomas’ new e-book, Inside the Circus, as are these additional factoids below. Mitt Romney raised millions in March by warning would-be donors a brokered convention could mean a...

Fresh off of President Obama's "flexibility" comments to Russian President Dmitry Medvedev last week, Obama supporters are reminiscing about the 2008 campaign and getting excited. Why? According to the left, if Obama wins a second term, he doesn't have to deal with Congress, the right rolling back his achievements and "it's on." Hope and change big words? Who knew? When you combine Obama's flexibility comments with the comments above and then add in Obama's "we're working on gun control under the radar" comments to anti-gun zealot Sarah Brady, another term for Obama is looking more and more like a major...

This video is a follow-up to Adrian Murray’s facebook post over the weekend, in which he says that he donated to the Obama campaign as “Adolph Hitler,” occupation “Dictator” living at a German address. As you can see in the clip, citizen journalist George Scaggs of Austin tries the same thing at three different campaign sites, that of Obama, Romney and Santorum. Only the Obama site accepted the donation without the verification number. Let’s take a look at the three campaign websites mentioned in the video ... [graphics] The Obama campaign’s donation page for Americans living outside the US also...

Poll hours are the same in each place for their time zones. In 2008 Wisconsin had turnout of 402,000 (McCain 54 Huckabee 36 and Paul 5, Romney 2, others 3 (McCain won 34 of 40 Delegates and Maryland 320,000 (McCain 55, Huckabee 29, Paul 6, Romney 7) McCain won all 37 delegates

So many (Ryan, Rubio, GHWB, etc) have come forward recently to endorse Romney to be the standard-bearer for the GOP. But curiously missing is GWB... Secondly, Bill Clinton has said very recently that he will soon hold fund-raisers and even stump? for Obama. So where is 43 at - and very recently at that? Pro-Romney forces have said that it is time to quickly rally around the front-runner (Romney). If so, then what better way than for perhaps Romney, Ryan, Rubio, etc, to get or seek Bush 43 to quickly endorse Romney, stump for him and hold fund-raisers for Romney?...

President Obama, employing his strongest language to date on the Supreme Court review of the federal health care overhaul, cautioned the court Monday against overturning the law -- while repeatedly saying he's "confident" it will be upheld.

Unbeknown to Rick Santorum and his campaign team, the GOP nominating contest is effectively over. There is a small chance that Santorum could spring an upset in Wisconsin’s primary Tuesday, since he has over-performed compared to his poll standing a few times, but even if he does, Mitt Romney will still likely win more delegates that day by cruising to victory in the Maryland and Washington, D.C., primaries. A Wisconsin win for Santorum would mean only one thing: that his delusions of becoming the eventual nominee will continue a bit longer, and he will force Mitt Romney to spend more...

Close your eyes for a moment, and imagine how we might elect the next president without seeing a single TV commercial, without a single Political Action Committee, without a single debate, without a single dollar changing hands, without a single "support me and I'll appoint you Secretary of State," without months of endless, meaningless promises that try the soul of the most patient patriots. Can't be done? It can be done. It has been done. It is the system designed by the Framers of the Constitution. It is the system that elected President George Washington. By 1795, however, when it...

Newt Gingrich unveiled a new message to Mitt Romney Monday morning during a campaign stop in Maryland: if the former Massachusetts governor does become the Republican nominee, pick a conservative platform. But speaking on the eve of three primaries that could potentially seal the Republican nomination in Romney’s favor, Gingrich vowed to only exit the race if a candidate gets the required delegates. ““I will be going to Tampa, Callista and I will both be going to Tampa, because we are going to fight for a conservative platform,“ Gingrich said. “He [Romney] has to win 1,144 uncontested delegates. At that...

The South Jersey Democrat leader George Norcross and a group of businessman announced today they will buy Philadelphia's two major daily newspapers, The Inquirer and the Daily News, and the website philly.com for $55 million. The purchase of Philadelphia Media Network Inc. from a group of hedge funds underscored the growing influence of Norcross, 56, a wealthy insurance executive and arguably the most powerful Democrat in New Jersey. (snip) "I don't think George is buying this paper because he's a big believer in the first amdendment or because he wants to hold the powerful accountable," Paul Davies, a former deputy...

Haley understands why many politicos interpret Gingrich’s maneuvers as a retreat. Haley’s job, as he sees it, is to keep the campaign in survival mode until then — out of debt, in the news, and prepared for a floor debate. “We clearly have an opportunity to win,” Haley says. “Now, it’s clear from the delegate math that we have an almost impossible hurdle. But we also believe that Romney will have a very difficult time reaching the necessary 1,144 delegates he needs to be the nominee. If the Republican National Committee follows its rules regarding Florida and Arizona, Romney will...

“To defeat Barack Obama, Republicans can’t nominate a candidate who relies on outspending his opponents 7-1,” said Presidential Candidate Newt Gingrich last week, referring to rival Mitt Romney, who overwhelmingly won the Illinois primary on March 20th. Indeed, the Associated Press reported that Romney and his allies outspent Santorum and his backers by $3.5 million to $500,000, an advantage of 7-1. Gingrich’s remark showcases an inevitable aspect of the election process: our votes are up for auction and the highest bidder gets them. Sadly, he doesn’t always have to offer payment in the form of results, credentials, policies, or history....

Medvedev: Working with comrade Obama has been the ‘best three years’ for U.S.-Russian relations in a long time posted at 7:45 pm on April 1, 2012 by Morgen Richmond Throughout the 2008 campaign Barack Obama promised that if elected he would ‘restore our standing’ in the world. I’m not sure all of our allies feel the same way, but as far as Russia is concerned: mission accomplished. My colleague Barack Obama and I have once again had a constructive discussion of the various issues on the international agenda and on bilateral cooperation between the Russian Federation and the United States....

A major contributor to President Barack Obama's re-election effort is accused of defrauding a businessman and impersonating a bank official. Donor Abake Assongba gave more than $50,000 to Obama this election season. But her past legal troubles, which include unpaid debts, are creating a new headache for Obama's campaign. The allegations were first reported Sunday by The Washington Post. ..

I guess the weather is finally warm enough on the east coast for King Putt Obama to resume hitting the links. After all, there’s nothing really happening in this country or elsewhere that could affect this country. It’s not like we have skyrocketing gas prices, a lousy economy, Iran getting a nuclear weapon or anything like that. While Michelle Obama took the kids to Las Vegas to party it up on the American tax payer’s dollar (just a week after the oldest daughter went on a secret vacation to Mexico with 25 secret service agents on 12 friends) Hussein Obama...

This is what we see time and again at the hands of the same Left that manufactured a month's long non-troversy over a word Rush Limbaugh spoke. While, on one hand, the left and their media allies feign outrage over Limbaugh, on the other hand, they either willfully ignore or launch vile, sexist attacks against conservative women that go well beyond anything that can in any way be called satire or humor. Wisconsin Lt. Governor Rebecca Kleefisch is a wife, mother, and a cancer survivor. She's currently being targeted for recall and by some of the ugliest personal attacks you'll...
