  • The Obama Administration Wants to Make Sure Non-Citizens Vote in the Upcoming Election

Several well-funded organizations -- including the League of Women Voters and the NAACP -- are fighting efforts to prevent non-citizens from voting illegally in the upcoming presidential election. And the United States Department of Justice, under the direction of Attorney General Loretta Lynch, is helping them. On February 12, these groups filed a lawsuit in D.C. federal court seeking to reverse a recent decision by the U.S. Election Assistance Commission (EAC). The Commission's decision allows Kansas and other states, including Arizona and Georgia, to enforce state laws ensuring that only citizens register to vote when they use a federally designed...
  • Charles Koch: This is the one issue where Bernie Sanders is right

As he campaigns for the Democratic nomination for president, Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders (I) often sounds like he's running as much against me as he is the other candidates. I have never met the senator, but I know from listening to him that we disagree on plenty when it comes to public policy. Even so, I see benefits in searching for common ground and greater civility during this overly negative campaign season. That's why, in spite of the fact that he often misrepresents where I stand on issues, the senator should know that we do agree on at least one...

February 14, 2016 That Debate Moment When the Script Is Evidenced by sundance No intellectually honest person can deny the Greenville South Carolina debate was constructed to provide maximum benefit for Marco Rubio. The structure was so brutally transparent even the customarily obtuse punditry are having a hard time obfuscating. We have been pointing to the GOPe road-map for over two years. As each tripwire is crossed, the ridiculous justifications of those in denial necessarily increase; but that doesn’t mean we will stop pointing out the strings on the presidential marionette show. Cue yet another audio visual demonstration.Do you see anything...
  • DNC Chair: Superdelegates Make Sure Party Leaders Don’t Have to Run Against Grassroots Activists

Democratic National Committee (DNC) chair Debbie Wasserman-Schultz said that although the Democratic Party "wants to give every opportunity to grassroots activists... to participate" in its presidential nomination process, superdelegates "exist... to make sure that party leaders and elected officials don't have to be in a position where they are running against grassroots activists." Wasserman-Schultz made the comments Thursday in response to a question by CNN's Jack Tapper on why Hillary Clinton garnered the same number of delegates in the New Hampshire primary as rival Bernie Sanders even though Sanders won 22 percent more of the vote. ...

Explosive new video released by muckraking journalist James O'Keefe exposes just how easy it is for non-residents to vote in New Hampshire's primary, despite a change in the state's laws aimed at curbing voter fraud. The video -- which was shared exclusively with The Daily Caller -- shows poll workers advising undercover journalists working for O'Keefe's Project Veritas Action (PVA) how to skirt the rules in order to vote as non-residents. The damning video also shows Bernie Sanders campaign staffers encouraging undercover journalists to claim false addresses in order to vote in the primary. O'Keefe pulled off a New Hampshire...
  • New evidence that voter ID laws ‘skew democracy’ in favor of white Republicans (barf-ola)

    Washington Post WonkBlog ^ | February 6, 2016 | Christopher Ingraham
Voter fraud is, for all intents and purposes, practically nonexistent. The best available research on the topic, by Loyola Law School professor Justin Levitt, found only 31 credible incidents of voter impersonation in an investigation of over 1 billion votes cast. But that hasn't dampened Republican efforts to pass a spate of strict voter ID laws since 2008. And it hasn't hurt the public's overall enthusiasm for those laws, either. But the results of a new working paper from political scientists at University of California, San Diego suggest folks may want to consider. The researchers analyzed turnout in recent elections...
  • Trump: Ted Cruz stole the election in Iowa so we should have a do-over

So, looks like I got another prediction wrong. I wrote back in December that if and when Trump lost, he would claim that the vote was rigged. Incorrect. As it turns out, he ended up claiming that Cruz cheated. This is the single dumbest thing he’s done since he got into the race, including his decision to skip the Fox debate — which even he thinks might have hurt him. Ted Cruz didn't win Iowa, he stole it. That is why all of the polls were so wrong and why he got far more votes than anticipated. Bad!— Donald J....

After accusing Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) of "illegally" stealing a win from the Iowa caucuses, Donald Trump said Wednesday that he'll "probably" sue over the results of the vote. Trump said this in an interview on Boston Herald Radio When asked if he would file a formal complaint over the caucuses' results, Trump replied, "probably." "What [Cruz] did is unthinkable," Trump said, later stating that Cruz was a "really fraudulent" character. Earlier in the day, Trump fired off a raging tweetstorm accusing Cruz of cheating in Iowa. Trump even suggested the Republican Party take the unprecedented step of holding a...

    1. Wikipedia says: "The Iowa Caucus[1] is an electoral event in which residents of the U.S. state of Iowa meet in precinct caucuses in all of Iowa's 1,681 precincts and elect delegates to the corresponding county conventions." 2. Ted Cruz's ground game was said to be massive and the explanation for his victory. He had workers at all precincts. 3. Ted Cruz apologized for his workers spreading misinformation about Ben Carson dropping out of the race. Carson says this misinformation affected vote totals. 4. http://cnsnews.com/news/article/cnsnewscom-staff/iowa-cruz-278-trump-244-rubio-229-carson-93-paul-45 Cruz had 51,416--or 27.7 percent--of the votes. In a major step towards global centralization of election processes, the world's dominant Internet voting company has purchased the USA's dominant election results reporting company. When you view your local or state election results on the Internet, on portals which often appear to be owned by the county elections division, in over 525 US jurisdictions you are actually redirected to a private corporate site controlled by SOE software, which operates under the name ClarityElections.com. The good news is that this firm promptly reports precinct-level detail in downloadable spreadsheet format. As reported by BlackBoxVoting.org in 2008, the bad news is that...

A few factors have increased the chances of a multi-ballot convention.... 17 candidates entered the race and 15 remain. ...five contenders who today appear to have the message, money, organization and poll numbers to play the long game: neurosurgeon Ben Carson, real-estate magnate Donald Trump, Sens. Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz, and former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush. What complicates the picture is the GOP’s rule requiring the 28 (states+) that vote before March 15 to award their delegates proportionally. The exception is South Carolina, whose winner-take-all primary was grandfathered in. Add in the eight states voting on or after March...

Voter ID laws have been challenged because liberal Democrats deem them racist. I guess that's because they see blacks as being incapable of acquiring some kind of government-issued identification. Interesting enough is the fact that I've never heard of a challenge to other ID requirements as racist, such as those: to board a plane, open a charge account, have lab work done or cash a welfare check. Since liberal Democrats only challenge legal procedures to promote ballot-box integrity, the conclusion one reaches is that they are for vote fraud prevalent in many Democrat-controlled cities.

With a recent decision in Alabama to close 31 DMV offices, the predictable howls of outrage form the Radical Left have come out - "Voter disenfranchisement!' "Jim Crow!" "Taking away our right to vote!" Expect to hear a lot more of this as we lead up to the 2016 election. PJTV's Christopher Coates responds to Contributor at The Nation Ari Berman's new book on voting rights with "Give Us the Ballot". Unsurprisingly, Berman's research leaves out some key facts, like this gem: Another serious omission is Berman's failure to discuss the controversies surrounding lawsuits brought during the George W. Bush administration against...

As Republican presidential candidates crisscross the nation to win key GOP strongholds, an analysis of the party’s own delegate rules reveals that Blue State Republicans have vast power to pick the party nominee. That’s good news for pragmatic, moderate Republicans such as a Jeb Bush, but not for conservative or religious candidates, such as Ben Carson. It also means that the eventual nominee could be very different from the leader in national polls because a candidate getting a few votes in the right (moderate) places can get as many if not more delegates than a candidate getting more votes in...

A group that had been represented by the top lawyer for Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign earlier this year is now being investigated by Ohio authorities for fraudulent voter registrations, including the registration of deceased individuals. Marc Elias, an attorney at Perkins Coie who has become the go-to fixer for Democrats and is now general counsel for Clinton’s presidential campaign, became involved with the Ohio Organizing Collaborative this May when he filed a lawsuit on its behalf to challenge the state’s voter identification laws. Now the group is being investigated by the Ohio Bureau of Criminal investigation after a local board...

The San Francisco district attorney’s office is investigating allegations of voter fraud in low-income housing operated by the Chinatown Community Development Center. The Asian Pacific Democratic Club last week filed a complaint with the city’s Department of Elections after hearing several accounts from elderly Chinese voters about having their ballots taken by a pair of women who support former Supervisor Aaron Peskin in his campaign to unseat Supervisor Julie Christensen. The Asian Pacific Democratic Club has endorsed Christensen.

The U.S. Supreme Court early Saturday denied a last-ditch effort to block the enforcement of Texas' controversial voter ID law in the upcoming elections. The ruling comes two days before the start of early voting. Election Day is Nov. 4. Six of the nine justices agreed to deny a request to vacate Tuesday’s judgment from the 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals that the state could enforce the law. The opinion removes the last traces of uncertainty over whether the law — which supporters say prevents voter fraud — would be in effect for the start of early voting.

(Washington, DC ) – Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton made the following statement regarding the Obama Justice Department decision to close its investigation of the IRS targeting of Tea Party groups and other conservative opponents of President Obama’s policies: “President Obama’s IRS was used against his opponents to help him win reelection. So the Obama Justice Department’s decision to shut down its IRS abuse investigation with no prosecutions is as unsurprising as it is corrupt. Judicial Watch’s independent litigation proved the Obama IRS obstructed justice and destroyed evidence. And we uncovered that the IRS and Lois Lerner conspired with the...

For years Democrats have fought voter ID laws as hard as they could, claiming they’re nothing more than a Republican attempt to suppress minority votes and that voter fraud is a total non-issue. Now it appears Democrats are losing this battle: Via the Washington Examiner: The Left and President Obama are losing their fight to block the widespread introduction of voter ID cards. In courts of law and the court of public opinion, the issue is gaining traction. With few exceptions, liberal pressure groups have lost lawsuits in state after state, with courts tossing out their faux claims that ID...
