  • Louie Gohmert: Victory for Roy Moore Represents Another Reprieve for Christians and America

Rep. Gohmert said that the Alabama Senate race represents “a battle for the soul of the country.” Bannon asked Gohmert, “Why is the toughest thing he’s been against the Republican establishment?” Gohmert responded, “They would rather be in the minority and go along to get along. They prefer smooth sailing rather than standing up for what’s right.” advertisement The Texas congressman responded, “You know, I know — and, boy, does Roy Moore know — that standing up for what’s right comes at a heavy cost and Roy Moore has really paid it. He’s been through absolute hell.”

Experienced political Alabama columnist Jeff Flowers reports extremely heavy turnout, early, in rural highly evangelical areas. He seems to have an objective view of the race. Predicts 7% win for Moore. Out of state liberal money poured in...Moore outspent 14/1.

It's really quite simple.....An American citizen, woman or man, is innocent until proven guilty by a judge, jury of their peers and a solid conviction of said accused crime. Allegations & Accusations carry no meaning whatsoever, until they are duly proven to be true & factual in a recognized court of law. If women voice a charge of crime or sexual abuse, then they must follow those charges through and file criminal charges and/or law suits in a recognized court of law. They have not done this, so their outburst of sexual abuse carry neither weight or merit. Alabama, voters,...

I feel for Jonah Goldberg and the rest of the #NeverTrumpers at Conservatism Inc. The awful truth is that their Resistance to the leftward ratchet has failed, and the world has moved on. So last week Jonah’s G-File is “Against One-Thingism,” complaining that we are becoming like our lefty friends for whom politics is everything, what with Republican and Trump support for Roy Moore, candidate for United States Senator in Alabama and all. Okay, Jonah, so what is Baldrick’s cunning plan for dishing the left? Let’s do the Eisenhower thing and make the problem bigger. What do you do when...

Bill Staehle, who served with Alabama Senate candidate Judge Roy Moore in Vietnam, stood onstage Monday night during a rally in Midland City, Alabama, delivering a rousing character testimony of his war buddy and defending him from what he saw as incoming political fire. “I looked into his eyes. Last time I had seen him he was wearing jungle fatigues,” he said. “And I tell you, people of Alabama, he’s the same guy.” “He’s honorable, disciplined, morally straight, highly principled — the same qualities we would hope to have in all of our elected officials but don’t,” he said, prompting...

One of the big questions surrounding the December 12 election in Alabama for the U.S. Senate seat is who is behind a mystery super PAC backing Democrat candidate Doug Jones against Republican Roy Moore. The Washington Post last Thursday claimed that there was no evidence of such funding by George Soros. However on the day before the election, Politico weighed in with a big story about the mystery super PAC, Highway 31, with much greater detail of the players involved. First we begin with the Washington Post denial that there was evidence of Soros financing the Jones campaign via secret super...

They really don't want you to see this video.Judge Roy Moore enters his last campaign rally to the sounds of "Sweet Home Alabama," right at the point Van Zandt is singing, "I hope Neil Young will remember, a Southern Man don't need him around, anyhow," and is immediately welcomed heartily by two black men, one wearing a Vietnam Vets hat. The other man says, "Good to see you brother," and embraces Moore.

MONTGOMERY, Ala. -- The bride was 14, the groom a little older, at 17. When Richard Baker encountered the couple two years later, it was to work up the papers for their divorce. ''They were young,'' recalled the Birmingham attorney. ''They had problems in the marriage and she didn't come across as being the most mature person. ... She wasn't ready to be married.'' Before he had completed the divorce papers, he got a call from the girl's father. There would be no divorce. The wife, at 16, had died of a drug overdose. Baker said that case comes to...

  • Anyone want to know Michael medved's opinion on Roy Moore?

I was just listening to Michael Medved on the radio, and a caller called in and said that as a Christian we need to forgive Roy Moore for what he did long ago. Michael Medved got very angry and emotional and said as voters that we have no place for giving someone that has not admitted to doing wrong and has not seek forgiveness. He said that there are virtues much more important then political affiliation, and it is wrong to overlook another candidate only because he is of a different political affiliation. Your thoughts?

Democrat Doug Jones holds a 10-point lead over Republican Roy Moore among likely voters in deep red Alabama. Greater party loyalty plus higher interest in the election among Democrats combined with more enthusiasm among Jones supporters gives him the advantage in the race to fill the U.S. Senate seat previously held by U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions. That’s according to a Fox News Poll of Alabama voters conducted Thursday through Sunday using traditional polling techniques, including a list-based probability sample with both landlines and cellphones. Jones receives 50 percent to Moore’s 40 percent, with 1-in-10 undecided (8 percent) or supporting...

Apparently, the GOP is now the party of CHILD MOLESTATION! At least the media tell me that’s the meaning of President Trump’s endorsement of Senate candidate Roy Moore. Are we allowed to mention that Moore denies the charges? It’s hard to disprove accusations from 40 years ago — that’s why we have statutes of limitations — but, despite that, there are a surprising number of problems with the allegations against Moore. One accuser has been called a liar by her own stepson, who says he’s voting for Moore. Another neglected to mention that Moore sent her brother to prison.

Alabama Senate Republican nominee Roy Moore gave two interviews in 2011 in which he said the amendments to the U.S. Constitution after the 10th Amendment has caused problems, quoted Hitler and left open the possibility of new evidence behind the cause of the 2001 terror attacks, according to a report Sunday by CNN. CNN said it obtained audio files of the interviews Moore gave with what the network described as "a conspiracy-driven radio show" known as the Aroostook Watchmen show, which was hosted by two Maine residents. CNN posted three of the audio clips on its website. In 2011, when...

**SNIP** The Oscar buzz comes despite pushback from skeptics, led by University of Alabama in Huntsville climatologist Roy Spencer, a former NASA scientist who accused Mr. Gore of attributing natural phenomena to human-caused climate change. In September, Mr. Spencer published an 84-page e-book, “An Inconvenient Deception,” which blasted the film as “bursting with bad science, bad policy, and some outright falsehoods.” “An Inconvenient Truth” was similarly rebuked by skeptics — Danish academic Bjorn Lomborg challenged it in a book and film called “Cool It”—but the movie earned $24 million at the box office, making it the 11th-highest grossing documentary of...

https://m.youtube.com/watch?feature=youtu.be&v=9JD-EGY9Y3Y More than a month ago I was asked during homecoming weekend to speak to an alumni panel on the topic of “Trump and the White Working Class,” along with the distinguished sociologist Arlie Hochschild, author of Strangers In Their Own Land, drawn from her experience of being embedded with rural folk in Louisiana, as sociologists do. Although she’s a liberal, she acquired a fair bit of sympathy for the outlook of the folks she met, not unlike the former head of NPR, Ken Stern, who traveled in red state areas and wrote Republican Like Me: How I Left the...

ARLEY, Ala. — I recently drove the back roads from Birmingham for over two hours before I finally found a sign for Roy Moore, the Republican candidate for the United States Senate, outside the Arley Coffee Shop. A retired coal miner who frequents what the cashier called the “liars’ table” put it to me in the familiar Winston County way. “The women,” he said of Mr. Moore’s accusers, were lying to make him look like a sexual predator. “Groping,” he added, “used to be all right anyway.” The Free State of Winston is Alabama’s most distinctive political culture, and now...

Sunday on CBS’s “Face the Nation,” Sen. Dick Durbin (D-IL) said Sen. Al Franken (D-MN) leaving the U.S. Senate should “establish a national standard” on how the Senate deals with Alabama GOP Senate hopeful Roy Moore if he wins. Partial transcript as follows: DICKERSON: Joining us now is Senate Democratic Whip Richard Durbin. He is in Springfield, Illinois. Welcome, senator. I want to pick up on something that Senator Collins said about the choice that senators may face if Roy Moore is elected in Alabama. And the question is: What business does the Senate have in overturning the will of...

Alabama Democratic Representative Terri Sewell appeared on ABC News’ “This Week” to discuss the senatorial special election between GOP candidate Roy Moore and Democratic candidate Doug Jones. Rep. Sewell warned voters that Roy Moore will take the state “back to the days of segregation.” "We who have been proud Alabamians know that we have been trying to overcome our painful past, and this candidate, Roy Moore, will only take us backwards and harken us back to the days of segregation,” Sewell said. .@RepTerriSewell: “Roy Moore will only take us backwards and harken us back to the days of segregation.” https://t.co/r8pECECbmFa...
