We now see their secret plan unfolding -- the largest suppression and bastardizing of free speech in US history. And with lightning speed too -- a fascist 'blitzkrieg' launched against free speech, coordinated within the timeline of weeks before an election. What we are up against: Fox News Pundit Says Bomb Suspect Threatened Her In A Tweet, Twitter Did Nothing [6] LifeSite just received an email at 8:30 p.m. EST from our web-hosting company alerting us that they will be taking our website down within 12 hours ... We received absolutely no forewarning whatsoever about this decision. The company is...

.... Here's the email Prince sent to staffers today explaining his decision: Team: Earlier today Cloudflare terminated the account of the Daily Stormer. We’ve stopped proxying their traffic and stopped answering DNS requests for their sites. We’ve taken measures to ensure that they cannot sign up for Cloudflare's services again. ... (He goes on to explain how he got out of bed and decided to nuke the Daily Stormer ... (later he published a blog post which I will link below)

Sorry I have to say this. But FR has become nearly unusable these days. You used to have a feeling that within 30 seconds to a minute, your page would be resolved and loaded. But no more. I don't know how many times lately, I have hit refresh or picked a new thread only to wait and wait and wait and then I give up and go to another site. The powers that be recommend limiting your window options to twenty. My reply is, if that's the problem, the just taking the option away and making it twenty should be...

EveryDNS said in a statement that it dropped the website late Thursday because the attacks threatened the rest of its network. WikiLeaks responded by moving to a Swiss domain name, wikileaks.ch. EveryDNS said in a statement that "Wikileaks.org has become the target of multiple distributed denial of service attacks. These attacks have, and future attacks would, threaten the stability of the...

Note: The following text is a quote: Former CEO of YouSendIt Charged with Denial of Service of Attack SAN JOSE, CA—Khalid Shaikh, a former CEO of YouSendIt Inc., was indicted by a federal grand jury yesterday with four counts of mail fraud, United States Attorney Joseph P. Russoniello announced. The indictment states that between December 2008 and June 2009 Shaikh used the ApacheBench software program to launch four denial of service (DOS) attacks against YouSendIt’s servers. Each DOS attack temporarily rendered the servers incapable of handling legitimate network traffic and deprived YouSendIt’s customers use of the company’s services. YouSendIt is...

LOS ANGELES - A 21-year-old computer whiz was sentenced to nearly five years in federal prison for taking control of 400,000 Internet-connected computers and renting access to them to spammers and fellow hackers. Among the machines authorities said Jeanson James Ancheta infected in 2004 and 2005 were those at the China Lake Naval Air Facility and the Defense Information System Agency headquartered in Falls Church, Va. "Your worst enemy is your own intellectual arrogance that somehow the world cannot touch you on this," U.S. District Judge R. Gary Klausner told Ancheta in sentencing him Monday to 57 months in prison....

Last Tuesday, during or immediately after my appearance on Fox News Channel to discuss the Mohammed Cartoons, this blog was hit by a large, foreign-based denial of service attack. Last night, my hosting service notified me that it is receiving ongoing threats from individuals vowing to take down this site--and others along with it--which will presumably continue until I take down the cartoons. For now, we are on guard and continuing with business as usual. But you should know there's something much wider and deeper going on: I. Security Pro News reports on the latest Islamist hacker attacks spurred by...

Protesters have been targeting government and corporate websites for years. But when online activists strike at Republican domains during the G.O.P.'s convention later this month, the digital demonstrations might turn out to be more than symbolic, for once. In the past, activists have been able to shut down the website of, say, the World Economic Forum for a few hours. But the impact of such a takedown was nebulous at best: It's hard to argue the organization really suffered from a few-hour lag in posting its press releases online. In this year's presidential race, however, campaign websites have moved beyond...

Less than 24 hours after plans were unveiled to build the Counter Clinton Library in Little Rock, Ark., the project had come under attack by defenders of the ex-president who attempted to disrupt its fundraising operation. Staff at the CCL report the cyber-Clintonistas have emailed at least 13 separate computer viruses to their Web site in a blitzkrieg effort to shut it down. "If you understand the Clintons, you just know they will do virtually anything to stop this Counter Library," CCL co-founder, former Congressman John LeBoutillier told NewsMax, before vowing not to let the cyber-attack disrupt operations. In anticipation...

FBI plays cyber-fear card again By Thomas C Greene in Washington Posted: 08/06/2002 at 16:30 EST There's a new warning from the FBI's National Infrastructure Protection Center (NIPC), an elite cyber squad famous for infecting its own network with SirCam, and which consistently manages to worry us about the wrong things at the wrong time. Today it's a blistering cyber attack from Europe targeting American ISPs and Web sites. Only it seems not to have occurred, in spite of being based on 'credible information'. One has to wonder if the original source might be an IRC channel full of boastful...
