STOCKHOLM – WikiLeaks' American domain name system provider withdrew service to the wikileaks.org name after the secret-spilling website once again became the target of hacker attacks.

EveryDNS said in a statement that it dropped the website late Thursday because the attacks threatened the rest of its network. WikiLeaks responded by moving to a Swiss domain name, wikileaks.ch.

EveryDNS said in a statement that "Wikileaks.org has become the target of multiple distributed denial of service attacks. These attacks have, and future attacks would, threaten the stability of the EveryDNS.net infrastructure." EveryDNS provides access to some 500,000 websites.

The flood DoS attacks against WikiLeaks can be coming from anywhere. Usually they are against the law in pretty much every country, but this time...hahahaha. The DoS attacks won't stop just because Assange moved to a Swiss domain name.

Assange is a worthless POS. That said, he only got shut down when he released info damaging to the left and hinted he would release info re a bank or two (ie the Fed aka the corrupt fascist left).

Regardless, what he had will get out. Just starting to wonder if Soros et al created a monster to impugn GW that got out of their control?

Interesting times (pPer the Chinese curse).

Thanks for the link. The unspoken, but also unmistakable back story here is that average joes like you and me are not doing the DoS attacks on WikiLeaks. Governments, government contractors, and maybe large banks are doing them. So the WikiLeaks crowd can keep moving their servers, IP providers, domain names, etc., but they will still be under attack until their operation is shut down for good one way or another. All this case is doing is providing governments and giant transnational corporations with a great training exercise in cyber warfare.

Wilileaks has a torrent link to the entire cable archive so there’s not much point in the effort to shut the site down. If the archive is out there and I know it, so do any bad guys that will use the info to harm the US regardless of whether the web site exists anymore.

They already do come after us in numerous ways, starting with taxes. We tolerate it.

No question the harm has already been done. No question the Obama administration has not taken this WikiLeaks cyber attack — for that’s what it surely has been — seriously. Obama’s #1 goal is to weaken the U.S., so this situation fits nicely into his objectives.

Don't leave out the unhappy 22 yr old turd-grabber, Specialist Bradley Manning, 22, of Potomac, Maryland whom our military gave top-secret clearance.

Bingo. The site was only put out of commission when he threatened to release info on the Fed banksters (rhymes with gangsters).
