The YouTube account responsible for exposing stolen valor is one of the latest casualties of Big Tech’s censorship campaign. The Big Tech Giant banned the veteran and YouTuber who helped break the story about Native American activist Nathan Phillips being a refrigerator repairman who never left the United States, and not a “Recon Ranger” who served in Vietnam. Don Shipley’s YouTube account “Buds131” was banned by the platform citing years old videos, but Shipley considers the act to be retribution for his recent videos revealing that Phillips was a refrigerator repairman who routinely went AWOL, and not a Vietnam veteran....

YouTube last week deplatformed a YouTube channel that specialized in exposing Stolen Valor cases. "Stolen Valor," of course, refers to cases where dishonorable pretenders are caught making fraudulent claims of military honors they didn't earn. Retired Navy Seal Don Shipley has made it his life's mission to expose these shameless charlatans. His channel had 232,806 subscribers at the time it was taken down and had been in operation since around 2008. He told PJ Media that he thinks his channel was taken down because he had "outed Nathan Phillips," who had "masqueraded as a Vietnam Vet."

He claimed he was a Recon Ranger — there is no such thing as a Marine Recon Ranger, Rangers are in the Army. Retired US Navy SEAL Don Shipley, who is known for publicly outing people for ‘stolen valor,’ obtained Nathan Phillips’ DD-214 form and exposed the truth. Nathan Phillips was enlisted under the name Nathaniel Richard Stanard. “Nathaniel Phillips enlisted in the Marine Corps Reserves on May 20th, 1972 and served until May 5th, 1976,” Don Shipley said as he read the DD-214 form. “He served under just four years and was discharged at the exalted rank of ‘Private'”...
