WOW! John McCain is leading a vicious campaign against the Russian government since the November election. In January McCain suggested the Russian “hacking” of the election was an “act of war.” https://youtu.be/QZu6jgNN7f0 But it wasn’t that long ago that Senator McCain requested campaign donations from Russian officials. Wikileaks released documents this week following the sudden death of Russian UN ambassador Vitaly Churkin. There are several documents on McCain’s request for donations from the Russians.

As the state contemplates an income tax hike, Oregon's elites line their pockets with taxpayer money. In 2016, as politicians across America were fleeing voter wrath, Oregon’s governor and attorney general were blazing an unlikely trail – accepting hundreds of thousands of dollars in campaign donations from businesses with state contracts. Since 1940, at the federal level, individuals and entities negotiating or working under federal contracts are prohibited from giving political cash to candidates, parties or committees. In Oregon, however, this political patronage is perfectly legal, at least for now. Our analysis at American Transparency (OpenTheBooks.com) found 207 state contractors...

Given all the attention which liberal media outlets love to shower on New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio for his progressive agenda and “reforms” in the Big Apple, it’s amazing how little attention is given to the many scandals which have engulfed his administration.

Happy Birthday JimRob! To all - help Jim celebrate his birthday by sending in a donation just for this occasion. I know his birthday because it's the same as mine and a couple years ago I began celebrating by giving FR a birthday gift in Jim's name. GO TRUMP-PENCE!!!

Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign brushed off a high-profile supporter’s warnings against doing campaign events with a Silicon Valley CEO whose company has since imploded under the weight of layoffs, a federal criminal investigation, and rebukes from top regulators. Campaign staff circulated an internal schedule of fundraising events in March that included a “Conversation with Chelsea” event at the Palo Alto offices of biotech startup Theranos that featured the company’s chief executive Elizabeth Holmes.

It was not uplifting to learn in recent hours that problems with foreign donations to the Clinton Foundation continue, Hillary Clinton was still making paid speeches for hire this week, and Tony Rodham is hustling gold mining deals in Haiti.

Bias? What bias? Yesterday, I had to laugh when I saw the following Tweet from Chris Cillizza. He writes “The Fix” over at the Washington Post. I wasn’t alone. Immediately he was inundated with evidence of the media’s left-wing leanings and, in particular, its coziness with the Clinton machine. At this point, it isn’t really something anyone should have to explain. Their blatant bias has been visible for decades.

NEW YORK, NY – Today the Donald J. Trump Campaign for President announced historic totals from September’s fundraising efforts. The $100 million haul (inclusive of TMAGA/Trump Victory) came mostly from small donors and includes a monthly $2 million dollar contribution from Mr. Trump. Mr. Trump’s contribution more than covered the costs of any reimbursements to him (or his related entities) for his plane and office rent; which the law mandates to be reimbursed. He has contributed an unprecedented amount to his campaign. This brings total raised to date (inclusive of his contributions) to 360 million dollars. The Campaign and both...

Democrats denounced it as an assault on democracy and a sop to billionaires when the Supreme Court issued a ruling two years ago that loosened limits on campaign giving. But Hillary Clinton and Democratic Party leaders are now exploiting the decision, funneling tens of millions of dollars from their wealthiest donors into a handful of presidential swing states. The flow of money, documented in Federal Election Commission reports, shows Democrats expanding their fund-raising advantage in the final phase of the presidential race, defying expectations at the beginning of the campaign that Republicans would dominate the money chase. The shift has...

He’s still lagging behind the Democrats. Donald Trump has broken plenty of rules throughout his campaign, but he has also broken records. According to Politico‘s reporting, which includes an analysis of Federal Election Commission filings, the Trump campaign has possibly already raised $100 million from donors who have given less than $200—more than any other GOP nominee in history. Moreover, the campaign has only been actively soliciting donations for less than three months: Trump signed his first email solicitation for donors on June 21.

The title says it all. Clearly, money given to PACs stays with the PAC, but what about money donated to Hillary's campaign? I think she can keep it if she quits, but could she give it to the new nominee? I can easily foresee months of bickering and indecision while major donors feel fleeced and close their checkbooks.

Goldman thrives on complexity and backroom dealing Goldman Sachs, the international investment bank that is under more or less continuous government investigation, has forbidden senior employees from giving money to the Trump-Pence campaign. But these wizards of Wall Street drew the new rule up in such a way that they can claim they are not trying to elect Hillary Clinton president.

They are turning donations away. Flood victims are being refused folks wishing to cook fresh meals for them by The Red Cross.

NEW YORK (AP) - Hillary Clinton's family foundation will no longer accept foreign and corporate donations if she is elected president, and will bring an end to its annual Clinton Global Initiative meeting regardless of the outcome of the November election.

Hey all, I hope you don't mind if I start this, and I do hope we get some useful information out of it. It would be great if Freepers can share some GOOD relief orgs that are doing great work NOW, for people and animals. We are donating the bulk of our tithing fund to these Flood Relief efforts. Right now the misery and worry our fellow Americans are sitting in is heartbreaking. I've found the NOLA Junior League is doing a stellar job of handing out diapers, necessities and gift cards in $20 increments. I know Samaritan's Purse will...

It was recently reported that Trump brought in $80 million in July and he so far has spent $0 on TV advertisement. Does anyone know how he's spending it, or is he saving it up for after Labor Day?

Obama lackey John Podesta who founded the far left Center for American Progress is about as transparent as Obama. The Center of American Progress has been hiding it’s donor lists for month. Finally, today they were shamed into releasing a partial list of donors. Problem is Podesta’s Center for American Progress isn’t accounting for over $5 million in donations from ‘anonymous sources.’ Podesta will likely be a big part of Hillary Clinton’s run next year, if the old granny does in fact run. Wonder if she’ll get questions about her buddy Podesta’s missing $5 million. Funny too that you don’t...

I admit it, that during every FReepathon, when I'm able to donate, I have always clicked other. Usually, it's because the amounts listed are more than I can afford. This time was no different,(esp now, I have no income at all), I donated what I could. I visit FR at least once a day, and I really believe,IT'S JUST THAT IMPORTANT!.
