Many of us believe that we should have a supply of food on hand in case the "bottom" drops out. Unless we eat this emergency food and carefully rotate stock we wind up with foodstuffs which eventually need to be thrown out. If we don't manage it carefully, then we can waste a lot of food. I posted a similar message a couple of months ago, and we generated quite a few great ideas for stocking up on certain things in case of a major emergency. We have been stocking up on non-perishables and medical supplies. Next will be emergency equipment: flashlights, batteries, candles, soap, tp, trash bags. Any suggestions?
