LaVar Ball is having a pretty good week. On Wednesday, his youngest son LaMelo was drafted by the Charlotte Hornets with the third overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft. In making that selection, the Hornets ensured that LaVar would go down in NBA history as the first father with two sons taken within the top three picks. While on his celebratory media tour, LaVar appeared on a podcast and took the opportunity to take a jab at President Donald Trump.

Promoting his one-man anti-Trump Broadway show on NBC’s Late Night With Seth Meyers early Friday morning, left-wing activist Michael Moore admitted the reality of the President’s 2016 election victory: “You have to say, ‘Donald Trump outsmarted us all.’ And then deal with the throw-up that’s in your mouth....It’s the truth.”      Earlier in the exchange, Meyers promoted: “...one of the things in your show is the 12-step program for helping people sort of deal with this Trump presidency. And you’ve just added a another step.” Moore replied: “Yes, yes. The new step, I just added it last night, was...

Gun control has been a divisive topic in American discourse lately, and as Elam discussed the pros and cons of gun control she offered the opinion that guns are not needed, even for self defense. “So, about gun control. It’s a hot topic nowadays. The pros of gun control are less guns mean a safer world, ” said Elam. “Gun control laws are correlated to lower rates of violence. Guns are not needed to defend against government. The key to protecting our society is information, and guns are not needed, even for self defense.”

Steele spoke at the opening of a new GOP campaign office in the Denver suburb of Greenwood Village Thursday morning - what the party has dubbed its 'Victory Headquarters." He praised grassroots efforts to promote Republican candidates in the upcoming election season and vowed to reverse GOP losses in Colorado over the past two election cycles. "(When) we win here and take back the governorship and that U.S. Senate seat...pick up...

When I check into this site, often there were interesting discussions from the day before I want to look at. But they are already buried 4 pages deep because it seems some people just post anything they find. Who cares about a radio station promotional announcements, Bruno Kirby dying, or any of this other tripe that some people are posting up. I'm new here, but it seems that some guys are pretty much spamming the blog with articles that rate a "1" on the who gives a crap meter. If it isn't something that we will still remember in 10...

This has to be one of the dumbest women on the planet. She talks about the A-bomb dropped Hiroshima on her website and claims it was the last time it was used in combat. To say she is stupid does not do the word justice. MIDI - THE WAY WE WERE Memories when Hiroshima was hit Big bright mushroom-clouded memories....we will not forget Nagasaki...had not been hit after all You can read it on my website...I am on the ball Could it be that my IQ's off the chart...and Albert Einstein I would shame Could my brain be in the...

A Giant Among Midgets Last week, television news shows took note of the deaths of Donald O'Connor, an actor-dancer; of George Plimpton, a high-toned journalist; and of some rock 'n' roll singer I'd never heard of. Completely missing from the shows I scanned was any mention at all of the death of a giant in this era of mental and moral midgets. I refer to Edward Said, a professor of literature at Columbia University; a Palestinian and a fearless champion of human rights; a musician and a music critic; and a writer of great note. Said died after a long...
