This has to be one of the dumbest women on the planet. She talks about the A-bomb dropped Hiroshima on her website and claims it was the last time it was used in combat. To say she is stupid does not do the word justice.

Furious over Barbra Streisand's outrageous demands after they asked her to speak at the Democratic National Convention, organizers rebelled and yelled: "Streisand . . . STAY HOME!" Snarled one insider: "She was a nightmare!" La Streisand delivered a typewritten list of demands that blah-blah-ed on for pages about makeup artists . . . hairdressers . . . a fleet of limos . . . hotel suites for the star's entourage and a small army of private bodyguards . . . etc. In addition, say sources, she ordered Dems to hire extra guards for her protection and (here's my favorite!) even dictated strict security demands to the FBI! Topping it all off, party "loyalist" Streisand refused to pony up a penny toward the staggering bill -- insisting that the tab be paid by campaign contributions from ordinary Americans! Seething party bosses told the singer through clenched teeth: "Thanks . . . but no thanks!" Now Streisand's fibbing to pals that she couldn't attend the convention because she's working on "Meet the Fockers" -- but sources say her scenes were shot long before the opening gavel banged!

Streisand's legal bill gets higher

Barbra Streisand must pay $177,000 in legal fees incurred by an amateur photographer who fended off a $10 million lawsuit over aerial photographs he took showing her Malibu estate.

Streisand's suit against retired software entrepreneur Kenneth Adelman claimed the photos showed details that can't be seen from the street. She alleged they could increase a problem she has with stalkers.

Adelman said he posted the photos as part of his scientific research on coastline conservation. He has posted more than 12,000 photos on his California Coastal Records Project Web site.

Superior Court Judge Allan J. Goodman ordered Streisand to pay Adelman's lawyer fees when the judge dismissed the lawsuit in December.

The two sides couldn't agree on the amount, so the judge ordered Streisand to pay an additional $15,000 to cover the costs Adelman incurred in the negotiations.
