Rep. Debbie Dingell (D-Mich.) warned Tuesday that her colleague Rep. Rashida Tlaib’s (D-Mich.) anger at President Biden over his administration’s handling of the Israel-Hamas war could backfire if it helps elect former President Trump, who she said could be far worse for Palestinians. Dingell said it is important to listen to the Muslim and Arab American communities in Michigan, as voters in the state go to the primary polls on Tuesday. Tlaib has backed a push for Democratic voters to vote “uncommitted” in protest of Biden’s support for Israel, and refusal to back a ceasefire in the war. But Dingell...

On Tuesday’s broadcast of “CNN News Central,” Rep. Debbie Dingell (D-MI) stated that there has to be a “tight” definition of what constitutes a humanitarian crisis to bypass the normal immigration process under humanitarian parole because there are “criminals that are coming over and then have done something horrific.” Co-host Sara Sidner asked, “I do want to ask you about one specific thing, because I know that the Republicans have been really sort of going after this one thing, saying this is the hangup, this is the big hangup, and it has to do with humanitarian parole, where the United...

On Thursday’s broadcast of NBC’s “MTP Now,” Rep. Debbie Dingell (D-MI) defended President Joe Biden’s student loan program and said she’s “really tired of these armchair economists who love to take the shots and get attention, but aren’t really working hard to try to solve some of our nation’s problems.” Host Kristen Welker asked, “I would be remiss if I didn’t ask you about the other big news today, which is the President’s announcement on student loans. He’s extending the pause. He’s giving relief of $10,000 to those who make less than $125,000. Some economists, though, are warning that it...

John Dingell, the longest-serving member of the United States House of Representatives, is considering not running for re-election, according to a report in the Detroit News. Dingell, who represents the Ann Arbor area along with areas of Wayne County, has run successfully 29 times since 1955. The 87-year-old Dearborn Democrat recently broke the record for the longest-serving congressman in history. According to the report, Dingell is considering retirement. His spokesman, Christopher Schuler, states Dingell is doing the same thing as he has always done before running for re-election, which is determining how to best serve his constituents. The News states...

I enquired about getting tickets to the only debate between John Dingell and Dr. Rob Steele. This is the response I got: "Due to the huge demand for tickets the campaign has done a lottery to assign tickets. There were upwards of 1400 requests from donors, workers, and friends. Sorry for raising your hopes... There are none to be had. I had no idea of the demand." For a small auditorium that is a lot of people, the demand outstrips the supply. Something is going on, people are waking up, and want to see this. Maybe it will be history...

Rep. John Dingell (D-MI), the Dean of the House of Representatives for being the longest serving member of the body (he was first elected in 1955, succeeding his father, Rep. John Dingell, Sr.), made an amazing admission during a live telephone interview with Detroit WJR News/Talk 760 radio talk show host Paul W. Smith on Smith's show Monday morning, March 22, 2010. The night before, Dingell had been a featured speaker at the Democrat Congressional leadership victory press conference after Obamacare passed the House. In response to a question posed by Smith, Dingell said: Let me remind you this [Americans...

Here is video of a man telling Neil Cavuto yesterday that a person at Democrat John Dingell's recent Town Hall Meeting in Michigan seen carrying an "Obama as Hitler" sign was also seen after the event outside handing out Dingell literature. The man said, "it appears he was part of the Dingell operation to start with." It has become a fashionable Democrat talking point this week to say the anti-ObamaCare protesters showing up at events are carrying "Swastikas" or that they are "Nazis." . . . . . (Watch Video)

U.S. Rep. John Dingell, D-Dearborn, is holding a health care town hall at 6 p.m. Thursday at the Romulus Athletic Center, 35765 Northline Road in Romulus, and there are plans by right wing thugs, stealthy organized by a rightwing lobbyist group, to disrupt the meeting. MSNBC host Rachel Maddow reported last night on a plan by the Washington, DC-based, rightwing think tank and lobbying firm Freedom Works, chaired by former U.S. House Majority Leader and rightwing Republican Dick Armey, to disrupt town hall meetings as members of Congress return to the district for summer break and meet with constituents. You...
