Police and military forces arrived in force at the nascent community of Oz Zion with stop work orders and moved to dismantle structures being erected there. Two teenage girls had to be treated for tear gas inhalation sustained during clashes that erupted between security forces and young people working to establish the new community. A service box in Oneida County owned by Verizon Communications Inc. was vandalized, causing a disruption of phone and cell phone service in the northern part of Oneida County, state police reported today. Calling the damage done "criminal mischief," troopers said someone entered the service box on Doyle Road in Deerfield either Monday or today and cut several lines.

Israeli Border Police and Civil Administration authorities Thursday demolished the nascent Ga'on Yarden settlement in the Binyamin region of Samaria, saying several of the buildings were built without obtaining the necessary permits. It was the second demolition carried out in one day. Five people were arrested Thursday afternoon in connection with clashes during the violent demolition at Alei Ayin this morning. State officials said Thursday that damage to the marble inside and out the State Capitol would cost an estimated $7.5 million. Cari Anne Renlund, chief legal counsel for the state Department of Administration, said in Dane County court that estimates of damage to marble includes $6 million to repair damaged marble inside the Capitol, $1 million for damage outside and $500,000 for costs to supervise the damage. Much of the damage apparently has come from tape used to put up signs and placards at the Capitol.

This happened in Russia, and from what I understand it is supposed to be a warehouse for a vodka bottling company, but I never see any fluids from broken bottles so I question that.
