This happened in Russia, and from what I understand it is supposed
to be a warehouse for a vodka bottling company, but I never see any
fluids from broken bottles so I question that. Either way, this guy
had a very bad day at work. No knowledge if he was hurt or not. If it
was me, and it was vodka warehouse, and I was not too injured...
Well they may find an empty bottle or two in my lap.

Video Ping!
Ever have one of those day when you wish you would have called in sick and just stayed in bed? Well, here is a forklift operator who probably wished he had. Instead he accidentally took out the warehouse. ..........Well, I need to take my wife to the doctor, I hope you all enjoy the destruction.

...but I never see any fluids from broken bottles so I question that.Could be a lot of other things stored in those boxes used in the production of vodka.
Had similar storage racks where I used to work. They were all tied together at the top and the fork lifts followed a wire in the floor. I often wondered what would happen in a case like this.

AWESOME. You know, I lost a job because of a forklift accident that I didn’t even cause. Somehow, I don’t think this guy will even be able to lie convincingly about this one.

I guess that they didn’t get that great of a deal with those Chinese manufactured warehouse racks. Big Lots? Harbor Freight?

When I was in college my summer job was driving a lift truck for a dairy. I dropped a pallet of milk once, but nothing like than. Still, I can sympathize.

Reminds me of that scene in Giant in the wine cellar when a drunken Jett Rink Falls into one of the racks, and they all go tumbling like dominoes.

Remember the book "Fear and loathing in Las Vegas" by Hunter S. Thompson?
(Sure, right, nobody on a Conservative board ever read that book, but certainly they know about Hunter, right?)
Well, he didn't write it by himself. He hired some wordsmiths ~ not all that well known, but some of them can spew a good story at the drop of a hat ~ one of 'em was one of the first "internet discussion board for political and narcotics driven speech" sort of poster ~ and he's still around.
He placed this story (15 years ago) in Seattle, or maybe Port Angeles, and it was about wine bottles, and he was the fork-lift driver.
I saved a copy and every now and then I'll pull it out and LMAOPMPOAO!
So these guys did it?
I'll pass this on.

Multiple problems:
1) the engine is not using propane, probably gasoline.
2) the shelves don’t have cross bracing, which would have kept the damage to a minimum.
3) using the warehouse roof to help the shelf loading would also work well.
4) The fact that the other side completely caved shows what a crappy design and installation of those shelves.

Meh. I've never been a big fan of propane lifts. Comes from working with very careless people that would regulary toss semi-empty propane cylinders aside, and also seeing a guy puncture a propane tank on another lift with his forks.
Ah, those were the days...
