Israeli Border Police and Civil Administration authorities Thursday demolished the nascent Ga'on Yarden settlement in the Binyamin region of Samaria, saying several of the buildings were built without obtaining the necessary permits. It was the second demolition carried out in one day. Five people were arrested Thursday afternoon in connection with clashes during the violent demolition at Alei Ayin this morning. During the Alei Ayin demolition 6 police officers and five residents were injured, and a Molotov cocktail was thrown at the Binyamin Police commander's car, setting it ablaze. It is not known who threw the Molotov cocktail. "Violent demolition...

Calls on Facebook for Palestinian Millions to Return to Their Homes in Israel on May 15, 2011 By: L. Barkan* IntroductionOver the past weeks, a number of Facebook pages have been launched calling on the Palestinians in Israel and abroad to hold mass demonstrations on May 15, 2011, the 63rd anniversary of Nakba Day (the establishment of the State of Israel).  The plan is for millions of Palestinian refugees to march en masse in return to the original homes of their families in Israel. The campaign is being referred to as "The 2011 March of Return," "The Palestinian Refugees'...

Becoming the most hypocritical politician in America is not an easy goal to achieve, but New York’s Rep. Anthony Weiner, a Democrat, is up to the task. Earlier this year, the Obama administration began rewarding its union friends and others with an escape from the clutches of Obamacare. Now one of the most outspoken Obamacare supporters - the man who actually said, “I wrote the bill … the bill and I are one” wants his own “get out of jail free” card from this abominable law. Moments of unmistakable clarity may not always find their way to the president’s teleprompter,...

When disasters strike somewhere in the world, those of us not effected will most likely watch the news or even see videos and pictures online to see what happened. When we're finished watching, we will either turn off the television or change the channel, those who surf will eventually log off the internet and shutdown our computers as we continue our normal uninterrupted lives. However, unless we ourselves have gone through similar disasters, we can never truly understand fully what the people are going through. I guess that's why it's so easy to forget about others who are suffering...

State officials said Thursday that damage to the marble inside and out the State Capitol would cost an estimated $7.5 million. Cari Anne Renlund, chief legal counsel for the state Department of Administration, said in Dane County court that estimates of damage to marble includes $6 million to repair damaged marble inside the Capitol, $1 million for damage outside and $500,000 for costs to supervise the damage. Much of the damage apparently has come from tape used to put up signs and placards at the Capitol.

This happened in Russia, and from what I understand it is supposed to be a warehouse for a vodka bottling company, but I never see any fluids from broken bottles so I question that. Either way, this guy had a very bad day at work. No knowledge if he was hurt or not. If it was me, and it was vodka warehouse, and I was not too injured... Well they may find an empty bottle or two in my lap.

Friends, experience shows it always pays to scout around a bit... See what’s out there, keep your eyes open, and investigate your surroundings. That is what happened one morning when I had some hours to pass with no pressing duties. I did an internet search for local gun shops, picked a few that looked interesting, and took a drive to see who was open. As it happens, that part of Indiana had enough small gun shops to keep me going all day long, if I had wished. One waypoint on this morning’s journey turned up a neat little small town...

"We must stand united to defeat, to destroy, to dismantle Israel--if possible by peaceful means," Kaukab Siddique said. "Perhaps, like Saladin, we will give them enough food and water to travel back to the lands from where they came to occupy other people." Siddique is an associate professor of English at Lincoln University in Pennsylvania.

“I don’t get it,” my friend said, shaking his head. “Obama is supposed to be so smart and such a brilliant politician … ” “Right,” I said. “So?” “So everything he has done or wants to do is a disaster! It’s all opposed by the majority of the American people. Even Democrats are running away from him as fast as they can. If he’s such a great politician, why does he keep doing things most people hate? And that’s not the worst part. When people complain, he calls them too dumb to appreciate what he’s doing for them!” Why indeed....

Every day we wake up to a new horror from our so called representative government. First it was the deliberate efforts to collapse the currency and destroy the economy. Then it was taking over of private corporations at gun point. Then it was betrayal of our allies around the globe and embracing monsters like Chavez and Ahmadinejad. Then it is the destruction of the US health care system ( the best on the planet) to be replaced with systematic denial of care and the end of innovation. The president wants the power to order the secret and permanent detention of...

America’s very own government is systematically destroying the United States of America. If this comes as a revelation to you – then where have you BEEN? America’s destruction has been ongoing for some time now. But not until the election of the democrat controlled Congress in 2006 and the election of President Obama in 2008 did it swing into high gear and the real dismantling of our constitutional republic begin in earnest. Today, America is just a shell of its former self. We have seen how quickly a determined enemy of the constitution can bring havoc to bear on our...
  • Destruction of Giant Algae Doughnut Threatens Lake Michigan (Quagga mussels eating phytoplankton)

An invasive species of mussel called quagga has recently begun eating its way through the phytoplankton population of Lake Michigan, which could have dire effects on the lake's ecosystem, scientists now warn. A giant ring of phytoplankton (microscopic plants such as algae) was discovered in Lake Michigan in 1998 by Michigan Technological Universitybiologist W. Charles Kerfoot and his research team. The "phytoplankton doughnut" is formed when winter storms kick up nutrient-rich sediment along the southeastern shore of the lake. The disturbed sediments begin circulating in a slow-moving circle with the lake's currents, which provides a massive supply of food for...

I spotlighted the neon green radical-led White House ocean grab last week that is undermining the health of the fishing industry. On Thursday, a fleet of fishermen will gather at Martha’s Vineyard to protest Obama’s destructive eco-policies. It’s just one more wave of the citizen backlash by thousands of victims of the White House war on jobs (flashback: Pushing back: Thousands of Obama’s drilling moratorium victims rally in La. ). From the Gloucester Daily Times via the Boston Herald: Leaders of the recreational and commercial fishing industry are planning a boat protest against federal policies Thursday outside the harbor of...

In a little remarked upon move earlier this month, Sen. Max Baucus (D-Mont.) put forward a legislative proposal to raise taxes on energy companies by stripping them of the ability to claim a key tax deduction. Known as Section 199 relief, the deduction in question has been available to companies engaged in energy production, as well as manufacturing, for several years as an incentive to encourage operations and employment. However, under an amendment introduced by Baucus, which could be voted on in the Senate next month, that deduction would be eliminated for certain players in the energy industry. According to...

Tens of thousands of people lined up at an East Point shopping center hoping to get federal housing assistance became unruly Wednesday morning with reports of fights breaking out in the crowd. An East Point police spokesman said the crowd numbered 30,000, some of whom waited for two days at the Tri-Cities Plaza shopping center. They were seeking applications for East Point Housing Authority vouchers to discount their rent. As the temperature rose Wednesday, people fell ill. Sgt. Cliff Chandler, spokesman for the East Point Police Department, said there were no reported injuries from the jostling, but 62 people had...

Alan Keyes and the Neocon Destruction of Third PartiesBy Maggie Bloom Sacramento Central Committee American Independent Party I’ve really come to dislike Alan Keyes. He says all the right conservative things but what he does is destructive to the Constitutional movement. I have trouble believing it is not planned. First time I noticed it was in 2006. Illegal immigration had finally hit the main stream media as an issue. Citizen border patrol groups sprang up and huge amounts of money were donated to build an Israeli style fence along the Mexican border. The money was all funneled through a non...

Obama’s administration is rapidly replacing capitalism, markets and free enterprise with socialism and total government control. In Marxist theory socialism is a stage on the way to the overthrow of capitalism and establishment of communism. It’s doing this by finding examples of capitalist ‘failures’ and using them to justify government regulation and takeover. It’s easy because there are always examples. It’s made easier by the inherent distrust and dislike of people successful in industry and business, a continuation of the historical social struggle underscored by the Industrial Revolution.

STATE COLLEGE, PA -- AccuWeather.com reports the upcoming hurricane season could be a top ten year, a stark contrast from the relatively calm 2009 season. AccuWeather.com Chief Hurricane Meteorologist Joe Bastardi predicts a total of 16-18 storms this season. To put that in perspective, only eight years in the 160 years of records have had 16 or more storms in a season. The season should start early with one or two threats by early July, and stay late with additional threats extending well into October. His forecast team expects at least six storms to impact the United States coastline--slightly more...
