The debate? Well, I thought the most interesting moment came when Donald Trump brought up Eisenhower: Let me just tell you that Dwight Eisenhower-a good president, great president, people liked him. 'I Like Ike', right? The expression 'I Like Ike'? - moved a million and a half illegal immigrants out of this country, moved them just beyond the border: They came back. Moved them again, beyond the border: They came back. Then moved them way south. They never came back. To the establishments of both parties and the media, Trump is beyond the pale. Yet he keeps, confidently, moving beyonder....

When it comes to the topic of immigration, you may not be surprised to find that a new poll discovered that Republicans trust Donald Trump more than any other candidate on the issue. A new YouGov poll found that Trump was far and away the most trusted candidate concerning immigration among the still large field of GOP candidates for president. About half of of those polled, 49 percent, said that Trump had the right ideas on immigration. These findings are significant considering months of attacks by the mainstream media trying to tear Trump down over the immigration issue. His ratings...

Earlier this week Marco Rubio went on Hannity to discuss the current state of his campaign. Rubio was asked about the 'Gang of 8' Amnesty plan he supported immediately after joining the US Senate with Chuck Schumer and Dick Durbin. Rubio doubled down. Marco Rubio: Look I live in a state that was deeply impacted by immigration and I was trying to make a difference. I was trying to make the most conservative bill possible in a senate controlled by Democrats. This morning Gang of Ocho member Marco Rubio told America's Newsroom that he will not support mass deportation of...

Viewers of the Republican presidential debate on Tuesday in Milwaukee, Wisconsin will be aware of the fiery exchange between Gov. Jeb Bush, who ostensibly wants to do very little about the “12 million†illegal immigrants in the United States, and Donald Trump, who wants to see a policy of repatriation, and a preference for legal immigrants.

Hillary Clinton slammed Donald Trump for his "absurd" immigration views again, going on Twitter to denounce his newest idea for how to forcefully remove illegal immigrants. During his appearance on Morning Joe, Mika Brzezinski pressed Trump to elaborate on what he said about immigration during the GOP debate, asking him whether he would resort to a "deportation force" in order to expel approximately 11 million people from the country. "You're going to have a deportation force, and you're going to do it humanely," Trump said. From there, he went onto his signature talking points about building a wall, letting law-abiding...

A whopping 49 percent of Republicans and independents who lean to the GOP say Trump is the presidential candidate who can best handle the issue — well ahead of Marco Rubio with 10 percent GOP support, Ted Cruz with 7 percent and Jeb Bush at 5 percent.

To win the crown, you have to knock out the champ. That would be Trump. Nobody came close last night. Apparently John Kasich and Juan Ellis Bush didn’t get the paraphrased memo from Harry S. Truman: If you give people a choice between a Democrat and a Democrat, they’ll pick the Democrat every time. Kasich had no business even being on the stage last night. He belonged in the kiddie debate, from whose bourn no traveler returns. Ditto Juan Ellis Bush. Who exactly did the son of a mailman think he was kidding when he said the U.S. couldn’t deport...

Republicans need to make gains with Hispanic voters in 2016, but that reality is complicated by the fact that more adults support Donald Trump’s hard-line stance on immigration, a new Economist Group/YouGov Poll finds.A whopping 49 percent of Republicans and independents who lean to the GOP say Trump is the presidential candidate who can best handle the issue — well ahead of Marco Rubio with 10 percent GOP support, Ted Cruz with 7 percent and Jeb Bush at 5 percent. The divide in the GOP over how to address issues stemming from illegal immigration spilled over in the fourth Republican presidential debate...

Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush and Ohio Gov. John Kasich on Tuesday teamed up to attack Donald Trump for his immigration stance, as the GOP presidential front-runner tried to swat their arguments away. "To send them back, 500,000 a month, is just not possible, and its not embracing American values and it would tear communities apart," Bush said at the Republican presidential debate in Milwaukee, Wis. "Even having this conversation sends a powerful signal. They are doing high-fives in the Clinton campaign right now when they hear this." Bush - who has seen a slide in the polls as Trump...

The Republican debate on Tuesday evening was set for fireworks, but the first real explosions of the night came from an unexpected source. A substantive debate on economics and tax policy descended into petty insults when Ohio Gov. John Kasich and Donald Trump squabbled over the issue of whether millions of undocumented immigrants in the United States could be deported. Kasich, who interrupted the moderators multiple times throughout the debate to interject his views, rebutted the idea that a future President Trump could deport millions of immigrants after the construction of a border wall between the United States and Mexico....

NEW ORLEANS (AP) — President Barrack Obama's plan to protect from deportation an estimated 5 million people living in the United States illegally has suffered another setback in court. In a 2-1 decision, the 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in New Orleans upheld a Texas-based judge's injunction blocking the Obama administration's immigration initiative. Republicans had criticized the plan as an illegal executive overreach when Obama announced it last November. Twenty-six states challenged the plan in court.

Celebrity chef Anthony Bourdain says America's restaurant industry would shut down if Donald Trump won the 2016 presidential election. Bourdain blasted Trump's vow to deport illegal immigrants if elected, saying it would leave the nation's kitchens empty.

Regardless of who may be right or wrong on the current Trump/Bush keeping America safe debate, the bottom line is whose policies would you rather have in place going forward and which will keep America safer? Trump's deport and secure the border policy or Bush's amnesty and open borders?

by Peter Kirsanow October 1, 2015 9:55 AM Last week I mentioned the U.S.Comission on Civil Rights’ flawed report to the president and Congress on detention facilities for illegal aliens. Among other things, the report claims that Americans who are concerned about illegal aliens’ involvement in crime are, well, confused. If you read my dissent to the report (I’m a member of the commission), however, you’ll quickly discover that it’s the report that’s confused – dramatically so. Unfortunately, my dissent was omitted when the report was issued two weeks ago ( I know of no other instance in which this...

cannot believe how many Christians cannot see what is going on. It continues to amaze me how blind they are to the reality of what is happening in the world. As usual, I believe the pastors are to blame for so much of this dumbing-down of America. I heard a wise man say that American Christians are so heavenly minded that they are no earthly good. He makes a good point. I call it “compartmentalized Christianity;” the placing of God inside a box that we keep under our beds. We occasionally open the box whenever we feel like we need...

It wasn’t obvious at first, but then it dawned on me. Donald Trump and James A. Traficant, Jr., though they may be different in one sense, are very much alike. In case you don’t recall, Traficant was a Congressman from Youngstown, Ohio, who was expelled from the House in 2002. (SNIP) Trump can afford to hire a battalion of America’s best attorneys. Traficant represented himself in 1987 in a tax evasion case. And won. Trump is always dressed to the nines. Traficant always looked like he just walked out of a thrift store. Standard garb was cowboy boots, skinny ties...

Immigration: When Donald Trump proposed mandatory deportation of illegal aliens, pundits and politicians on both sides of the political aisle were appalled. But on this issue it looks like Trump has the public on his side. The fire from the right was almost as fierce as that from the left. "It's not conservative and it's not realistic and it does not embrace American values," said Jeb Bush. Sen. Lindsey Graham called it "absolute gibberish." Conservative commentator Charles Krauthammer called the idea "crackpot" and "morally obscene." But the prize for overheated rhetoric goes to Hillary Clinton, who said Trump wants to...
