ISIS has been actively recruiting Ferguson criminals, according to the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Illinois. With tweets that say “Hey blacks, ISIS will save you” and references to Malcolm X and slavery, ISIS was reaching out to criminals during the protests and riots after Michael Brown’s death. U.S. Attorney Steve Wigginton told KSDK that the federal government has received “intelligence reports for law enforcement showing actual tweets ISIS was putting out encouraging Americans to join the people who were burning down buildings in Ferguson to engage that kind of conduct across America.” …

Nearly four years ago, the media establishment swiftly and baselessly linked the Tea Party to the shooting of Arizona Congresswoman Gabby Giffords. But after this weekend’s murder of two New York City police officers, by a gunman who used the hashtag #ShootThePolice, there was no rush at ABC, CBS or NBC to condemn anti-police protesters who have employed the chant: “What do we want? Dead cops. When do we want them? Now.” National Review’s Jonah Goldberg highlighted the outrageous double standard on Sunday’s MediaBuzz on the Fox News Channel:

These are just a few examples of people who, upon learning of the murder of two New York City police officers, took to Twitter to express their approval and glee.

War On Cops: True to his word, Attorney General Eric Holder has released new national "anti-profiling" guidelines directing law enforcement to ignore "statistical evidence" generated by his own department. 'Even if there were overall statistical evidence of differential rates of commission of certain offenses among individuals possessing particular characteristics, the affirmative use of such generalized notions by law enforcement officers in routine, spontaneous law enforcement activities is tantamount to stereotyping," and therefore punishable, Holder warned in his 12-page guidance. "Even if?" Holder's acting dumb. He's fully aware such evidence exists. And it's highly relevant to proactive policing, because it shows...

Everyone seems to have an opinion about the tragic events in Ferguson, Missouri. But, as Daniel Patrick Moynihan used to say, “You’re entitled to your own opinion, but you’re not entitled to your own facts.” Soon after the shooting death of Michael Brown, this 285-pound young man was depicted as a “gentle giant.” But, after a video was leaked, showing him bullying the owner of a store from which he had stolen some merchandise, Attorney General Eric Holder expressed displeasure that the video was leaked. In other words, to Holder the truth was offensive, but the........

President Obama on Monday will focus on the relationship between local police and the communities they protect and serve in the wake of sometimes violent protests in Ferguson, Mo. Obama will meet with Cabinet members to discuss a review the president ordered in August of federal funding and programs that provide equipment to state and local law enforcement agencies, according to the White House. Law enforcement officials were criticized for their militarized response to protests in Ferguson after a police officer shot and killed an unarmed black teenager, Michael Brown. A grand jury last week refused to indict Ferguson police...

President Obama is expected to announce major changes to immigration policy before the end of 2014 -- and possibly as soon as this week. On one level, this is the end of a process that started in March, when the administration first announced it was reviewing deportation policy to see how it could be made more humane. On another level, though, this is another phase in the development of an immigration system that's been transformed over the last 20 years. To understand how we got to this point, it's necessary to understand why immigration policy looks so different now than...

The parents of Michael Brown, the Ferguson Missouri man who was shot by Officer Darren Wilson following an altercation, spoke before a UN Committee yesterday, pleading for the world to note what was happening in Ferguson and around the country. Lesley McSpadden and Michael Brown Sr. spoke to the United Nations Committee Against Torture -- which also works against cruel or degrading treatment or punishment by government authorities. CNN: "We need the world to know what's going on in Ferguson and we need justice," McSpadden told CNN in Geneva, Switzerland. "We need answers and we need action. And we have...

According to the Immigration and Customs Enforcement arm of DHS, 36,007 criminal illegal aliens were released into the United States in 2013. Responding to a request by Sen. Chuck Grassley, ICE provided a list of ZIP codes — not cities and states — where criminal illegals, many convicted of violent offenses including murder, rape and kidnapping, have been dumped by the administration. I wrote a small script to convert the ZIPs into cities and states, the results of which are below. Please make sure that your families, friends, colleagues and other acquaintances are aware of these locations. Better safe than...

EYEWITNESS NEWS spent weeks analyzing more than 1,800 cases across Minnesota - murders, robberies, burglaries, and assaults, all involving firearms, as well as many cases of previously convicted felons being caught with guns. In more than half of such cases, the convicted felon received less than the minimum sentence. And whether they spent any time in prison varied greatly from judge to judge and courtroom to courtroom. Daylight was beginning to dwindle. Leaves were beginning to litter the landscape. Fall was beginning to descend on Folwell Park. "This is where kids come. This is their sanctuary," said John Joyce, who...

Maricopa Co., AZ Sheriff Joe Arpaio reported that 36 percent of the criminals his sheriffs turned over to ICE “keep coming back” ... Last month a guy came back 25 times. So what is this? Either the border is really unsecure, or they're letting these guys out in the streets of Maricopa County. We got a big problem” he said. Arpaio added that releasing illegal aliens with criminal records was a “form of amnesty by the Obama administration.” ... Arpaio also said that the Mexican border has become so dangerous, law enforcement are afraid to cross,

Killers and sexual predators let loose in America In a revelation that will surprise almost no one at this point, the Obama administration has been caught in another lie. Records obtained by USA Today contradict the administration’s assertions the 2,228 people freed from immigration jails in 2013 only included those with minor criminal records. Instead, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials released a number of illegal aliens facing serious criminal charges that include “kidnapping, sexual assault, drug trafficking and homicide,” the paper reports. Despite last year’s furor surrounding the release, the administration continued to insist that only “low-risk offenders who...

Via Guy Benson, the key point is the lying, not the fact that they’re putting dangerous people who have no right to be here back onto America’s streets. After all, they do that all the time. The new records, including spreadsheets and hundreds of pages of e-mails, offer the most detailed information yet about the people ICE freed as it prepared for steep, across-the-government spending cuts in February 2013. They show that although two-thirds of the people who were freed had no criminal records, several had been arrested or convicted on charges more severe than the administration had disclosed…A spreadsheet...

Illegal immigrants have the same constitutional right to bail that U.S. citizens do, a federal appeals court ruled Wednesday in a decision striking down an Arizona statute designed to make sure criminals without any community ties didn’t flee in the face of a looming trial. The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, in a 9-2 decision, ruled that Arizona’s voters, who passed the statute in a 2006 referendum, were actually trying to punish illegal immigrants rather than trying to reduce the risk of flight by those charged with serious felonies. The judges said bail isn’t allowed to be used as...

Referencing the events in Ferguson, Missouri, US Attorney General Eric Holder called for more racial balance in the people police shoot. “What we had in Ferguson was a white officer shooting a Black teenager,” Holder recounted. “When we look at over all statistics, white officers shooting African-Americans is disproportional to their representation in the population. This establishes a prima facie case that racism is playing a role in the use of deadly force.” “We need to ask some hard questions,” Holder contended. “Why isn’t there a more proportionately balanced representation of America’s population when it comes to police shootings? Why...

President Barack Obama's decision to back down from his promises to take executive action on immigration reform until after the November midterm election could backfire on him, said Latino leaders Saturday, who vowed they won't forget the president and Democrats' "attempts to fool them" when the elections roll around. Early Saturday, Obama bowed to Democratic Party pressure and reversed course on taking executive action on immigration reform until after the November midterm elections, after leaders voiced concerns that his rulings could cost Democrats their control of the Senate.
