WELLINGTON, Fla. - A Macy’s loss-prevention officer was bitten Sunday evening by two women he suspected of stealing from a mall in Florida, the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office said. Tresha and Trudy-Ann Thompson were arrested on charges of aggravated battery and theft, records show. The women share a home, according to records, although their relationship is not clear in the arrest reports.

The vicious attack occurred as officers were trying to remove a contraband laptop that Smith had in his possession. Footage of the incident shows the female officer trying to speak with Smith, who is taking the laptop apart in an attempt to destroy it.
