From:aelrod@hillaryclinton.com To: aelrod@hillaryclinton.com Date: 2015-09-24 16:50 Subject: 09.24.15 Latest on Email Guidance *Friends & Allies Talking Points * *Guidance on Bloomberg Report that FBI Has Restored Clinton's Personal Emails * Assuming the Bloomberg report is true, the reason the FBI may be able to recreate these emails is exactly because, as the tech company that maintained Hillary's server has said, the rumors that steps were taken to "wipe" the server's contents were never true. Even if FBI can indeed recreate her personal emails as Bloomberg reports, they are unlikely to be released publicly as they are not work-related. Remember, the...

Tom Hayden has passed away at 76 and the New York Times obituary recalled him as a “civil rights and anti-war activist.” That bears little resemblance to the real person, especially in regard to Vietnam. For the full story of the war, millennials might want to check out America In Vietnam, by Guenter Lewy. The conflict pitted the Communist North, backed by the Soviet Union, against the non-Communist South, backed by the United States. Many Americans opposed U.S. involvement in the conflict, for a variety of reasons.

Hillary routinely bullied her bodyguards — and with the worst language possible. Hillary Clinton’s “treatment of DS [Department of State] agents on her protective detail was so contemptuous that many of them sought reassignment or employment elsewhere,” according to a just-released summary of an FBI interview with a former State Department official. “Prior to CLINTON’s tenure, being an agent on the Secretary of State’s protective detail was seen as an honor and privilege reserved for senior agents. However, by the end of CLINTON’s tenure, it was staffed largely with new agents because it was difficult to find senior agents willing...

Residents of at least two cities in Texas are complaining that they voted for Donald Trump only to see the voting machine switch their ballot to Hillary Clinton. Early voting for the 2016 presidential election started yesterday for people in some areas who have been given the opportunity to avoid the long lines on November 8. However, in Amarillo, a woman was shocked to see her ballot flip from Republican to Democrat. “Gary and I went to early vote today,” wrote Lisa Houlette on Facebook. “I voted a straight Republican ticket and as I scrolled to submit my ballot I...

NBC, ABC, CBS, CNN and most blogs are trying to convince you there is virtually NO EVIDENCE of voter fraud, so Trump's fears are bogus ... but we drilled down and some officials who run the voting systems around the country are VERY worried about fraudulent voting. Fact is ... some states do not require voters to present any ID before casting a ballot. They shockingly rely on the ability of precinct poll workers to match a person's signature with the signature on the voter registration form. So a 70-year-old lady trying to manage a precinct is supposed to do...

Recent undercover videos exposing Democrat plots to commit vote fraud and incite violence at Donald Trump events have so far cost two Democrat operatives their jobs. Now yet another video features one of those operatives revealing that Hillary Clinton engaged in what has been called “illegal coordinated campaign expenditures.” The result of a year-long investigation by Project Veritas, the video is part III in the organization’s series “Rigging the Election.” It outlines a plot to organize a smear campaign — using operatives in duck costumes — to push the notion that the GOP nominee “ducks” taxes (such critics have yet...

Do you wonder why Sen. Bernie Sanders and his ideas are so popular among American college students? The answer is that they, like so many other young people who think they know it all, are really uninformed and ignorant. You say, "Williams, how dare you say that?! We've mortgaged our home to send our children to college." Let's start with the 2006 geographic literacy survey of youngsters between 18 and 24 years of age by National Geographic and Roper Public Affairs. Less than half could identify New York and Ohio on a U.S. map. Sixty percent could not find Iraq...

"Norfolk is at risk over the next few decades if we don't do something to slow down sea level rise," Navy Secretary Ray Mabus told a gathering in Washington, D.C., on Monday. Naval Station Norfolk, the largest naval complex [1] in the world, is located in southeastern Virginia. "All our bases are in some way or other at risk," Mabus said. And that's not the only risk posed by climate change, Mabus said. The warming planet also expands the Navy's mission: "We're the first responders. We're the ones -- the Navy and Marine Corps are the ones sent. We get...

Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe, an important ally of Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton, funneled nearly $700,000 in donations and support to the campaign of the spouse of an FBI official who then oversaw Clinton's email investigation. The Virginia governor's office was full of denials about the connection on Sunday. "Any insinuation that his support" for state Senate candidate Dr. Jill McCabe, wife of FBI deputy director Andrew McCabe, "was tied to anything other than his desire to elect candidates who would help pass his agenda is ridiculous," a spokesman for the governor told the Wall Street Journal. McAuliffe's PAC donated $475,000...

The jury in the Oregon Standoff trial will be coming back for a third day of deliberations today. They began last Thursday and continued yesterday. Supporters of the defendants are on the streets of downtown Portland outside the courthouse. Yesterday defense attorney Matt Schindler, who represents defendant Kenneth Medenbach, mixed with the supporters. Brand Nu Thornton blew his shofar yesterday in the streets of Portland. He did the same thing at the wildlife refuge during the protest in January. There's a Twitter feed #oregonstandoff where you can keep up any developments that may break today. Conventional wisdom is that the...

Can we get a little help here, Mr. Fardon? Chicago is beset by gun crimes. Just over the weekend, shootings took the lives of six and wounded 32 more. So far this year, there have been more than 3,550 shootings, nearly 20 percent more than all of last year. To fight this scourge, we need all hands on deck. So why isn’t the U.S. attorney’s office here, headed by you, Mr. Fardon, doing more to combat gun violence? In an analysis published in Sunday’s Sun-Times, reporters Mick Dumke, Frank Main and Jon Seidel show that federal weapons charges in Chicago...

Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign prohibits employees from using a personal email address to conduct official business, according to a hacked copy of its employee handbook. “Staff are provided an e-mail account for Campaign business use only. Employees must use their Campaign-provided e-mail accounts for all correspondence regarding or related to the Campaign’s business,” the handbook states. “Employees cannot use personal email addresses (.gmail, icloud, etc.) to conduct Campaign business.”

Mr. James Comey, Director Federal Bureau of Investigation J. Edgar Hoover Building 935 Pennsylvania Avenue N.W Washington, D.C. 20535-0001 Sir, I am writing regarding your public statement in July, 2016 informing the American people that the FBI investigation of Hillary Clinton was being closed without referring it to a Federal Grand Jury or the Attorney General of the U. S. for a decision whether or not to indict her. Strangely, you eloquently laid out enough of the evidence deduced from the investigation to strongly indicate there was abundant evidence uncovered during the investigation and interview of her to not only...

A U.S. Department of Justice press release warns individuals who may serve as poll watchers hoping to prevent voter fraud could violate voter intimidation laws. Upon first blush, what may appear to be a middling warning that voter fraud and abuse will not be tolerated by federal law enforcement also casts a shadow over various lawful election activities with broad language apparently intended to caution individuals from performing their duties.
