It's not every day that a rapper with a well-publicized love of guns, girls and ganja hangs out with our nation's top diplomat. Earlier this month, though, that's exactly what happened. In what has to be seen as a top contender for the strangest video of the year, Calvin Cordozar Broadus -- the rapper better known as Snoop Doggy Dog, Snoop Dogg or, more recently, Snoop Lion -- posted a short clip of himself chatting with Secretary of State John Kerry at a black-tie event on Instagram. The sound is too poor to hear much of what their conversation, but...

Kanye West threw somewhat of a tantrum during his concert in Florida last night with reports that the 'Blood on the Leaves' rapper stormed off stage when problems arose with the sound and lighting not long after the show had started and proceeded to launch into yet another rant in which he reportedly compared himself to Nelson Mandela. The 36-year-old hip-hop star brought his 'Yeezus' tour to Tampa Bay Times Forum yesterday evening but it didn't go off without a hitch as the rapper is said to have temporarily stopped the show just minutes in after growing infuriated with some...

Sean “Diddy” Combs’ new Revolt channel launched with a nod to big dreams and its founder’s musical past, bringing a new outlet for music to television. Despite some technical glitches in its opening Monday, Combs aspires to nothing less than making Revolt the ESPN of music, with well-curated playlists and a strong focus on industry news. “I want to know, who is Taylor Swift?” Combs said. “Why is Miley Cyrus twerking? Why did Jay-Z and Justin Timberlake go on tour? Why did Kanye West call his daughter ‘North’? The industry of music is just as important, or more important, as...

Jay Z goes with characteristically grandiose visuals in his new video for "Holy Grail," the song featuring Justin Timberlake that opens Hov's latest LP, Magna Carta Holy Grail... the clip opens with Jay musing about the trappings of fame in a dusty, dark but once-opulent mansion and watching Buster Douglas knock out Mike Tyson. Timberlake shows up for dinner and a show (i.e. a bunch of dancers moving languidly with sheets draped over them) before singing in front of a raging fire. At the end, a pyramid of overflowing champagne glasses crashes to the ground

Brian and Corin Mullins developed their gluten-free, vegan, organic cereal to address Mr Mullins' allergies. It was originally called 'Hapi Food' cereal and sold only at the Sechelt Farmers Market on the Sunshine Coast, British Columbia. But after one of their very first customers said: "Holy Crap... this is amazing!", they changed the name to Holy Crap. Sales increased 1000% - from ten bags a day to over one hundred.

PepsiCo is bowing to public pressure for the second time in a week and cutting ties with Lil Wayne over the rapper's crude lyrical reference to civil rights martyr Emmett Till... The state’s child protection agency has found that the family of a 9-year-old Brockton rapper did not abuse or neglect him by allowing the boy to star in several videos posted online showing him in club scenes and simulating sexually suggestive activity with women. The controversy surrounding Luie Rivera Jr., whose stage name is “Lil Poopy,” began in February, when Brockton police filed a child abuse and neglect complaint against Luis Rivera, the boy’s father. After a month of investigation, the state Department of Children and Families has closed the case without taking any action against the father. “After a...

American comedian Jenny Johnson claims she has been receiving death threats via Twitter from angry Chris Brown fans. The pair got into a heated Twitter spat over the weekend where she blasted the singer for appearing "unapologetic" about his assault on ex-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009. "I have zero respect for a person who seems unapologetic for the terrible crime he committed and shows no signs of changing", Johnson tweeted on Sunday. However, Chris didn't react in the best possible way, calling the female comedian obscene names and threatening to defecate on her eyeball as she performed sexual acts on him....

Chris Brown made what many would call a lapse in judgment (once again) when he posted a photo of himself and his friends dressed up in their Halloween costumes. While most celebs had plans of dressing up and getting into the spirit of the holiday, it seems C Breezy took things to a whole new level. The pop star, who recently reunited with his ex-girlfriend, Rihanna, posted a photo on Instagram and Twitter which showed him and his friends dressed as what appeared to be the Taliban -- complete with guns and beards

How about all those solutions to the housing crisis put forward by Obama and Romney during the debates? We actually should celebrate because there are no proposals. It was government manipulation of credit markets, social engineering, and GSE’s Fannie and Freddie that caused the housing collapse. The solutions implemented by the Obama administration only prove Reagan correct; the more the plans fail, the more the planners plan. Had the housing market been left alone to self-correct we could be well on the way to recovery. Not to be when the central planners and the central bankers have their arms up...

I suggested during our conference call yesterday that the only friend the Muslim Brotherhood has in high places is Barack Obama. I didn't mean that facetiously. Turkey's application to join the SIno-Russian Shanghai Cooperation Organization following Prime Minister Erdogan's July 19 pilgrimage to Russia is a diplomatic humiliation for the United States, and of the first order. Just when Washington is demanding that Russia withdraw support for the Assad regime in Syria, and when Turkey is the linch-pin for American logistics in support of the Syrian opposition, Erdogan has proposed in effect to joint the Russian-Chinese club (without being compelled...
