There’s a lengthy, sordid history of the damage children suffer because of “progressive” values and policies. In 2018, the harm went beyond passive side effects. The left is now brazenly cheering over the corruption, pain and heartbreak of children. And sometimes, their deaths. What can be done? We must work within all lawful means possible to stop this evil. Here are some of the year’s worst examples, although this article could go on and on: 10. Colleges are now recommending 4-year-olds engage in sexual activity. Yes, some UC Santa Barbara academics have advanced the idea that pre-schoolers should engage in...

Wells Fargo has agreed to pay $575 million to resolve investigations by all 50 states and Washington, D.C., into a range of practices, the latest chapter in the bank’s long-running legal problems. The deal ends investigations that began after federal regulators revealed in September 2016 that Wells Fargo employees had for years opened millions of unauthorized bank accounts in customers’ names. The employees said they had done so because they feared losing their jobs if they could not meet the bank’s aggressive sales goals. The agreement comes after New York reached a separate, $65 million settlement with Wells Fargo in...

Those of us who have been paying attention know that serious crimes were committed at the highest levels of government in an attempt to exonerate Hillary Clinton and frame Donald Trump. There was collusion between government agencies, including collusion with foreign agents, to illegally influence the 2016 Presidential election. There is enough evidence on the table to be confident of these claims. And those of us who care about rule of law, who want to see justice done to the criminals in this conspiracy, have been waiting for years to see that happen. We hear that these serious matters are...

By-sheer-coincidence, the judges who managed the Wolfe docket in the District Court of Columbia are all hardline Democrats. As Rex explains, a cynic could argue that Lady Justice never stood a chance. As we now know, James Wolfe, the veteran security chief of the Senate Intelligence Committee (SSCI), received a sentence of just two months for 'lying to the FBI', which now appears to be the 'go to' felony for the Department of Justice, when it wants to frame people, or cover up corruption. It's an astonishingly lenient outcome for Wolfe, who in March 2017 either conspired with others, or...

In a little over a month, the so-called Green New Deal has won endorsements from more than three dozen sitting or incoming federal lawmakers as Rep.-elect Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) makes a high-profile bid to shift debate over climate change toward policy on the scale of the crisis. On Friday, the effort got a boost from 311 state and local officials. Forty-four mayors, 63 county and state legislators and 116 city council members were among the officials from 40 states ― including some top oil and gas producers ― who signed an open letter issuing a sweeping, full-throated call for the...

Some residents of small-town Sardis, Miss. say they are very troubled at officials’ decision to knowingly crown a registered sex offender as “Grand Marshal” of their annual Christmas parade, according to a report from KAIT. Carolyn Whaley, who owns The Eclectic Emporium on Main Street where the Christmas parade passed by on Tuesday, says “everyone in Sardis knows that Michael Saripkin, the Grand Marshal, is a sex offender,” KAIT reports. “Everybody knows that; it’s a small town,” Whaley said. “It doesn’t bother me. He’s a very nice, friendly man. He has donated more money, helped the fire department, helped the...

This week, Lawrence Doyle and John Moynihan of DM Income Advisors told the House subcommittee on government operations that they forwarded thousands of documents to the IRS showing that Bill and Hillary Clinton may have neglected to pay taxes on $400 million to $2.5 billion in money they cycled through the Clinton Foundation's so-called charity. Clinton Foundation CEO Kevin Thurm dismissed the allegations as "just another ploy by the vast right-wing conspiracy that has been harassing Bill and Hillary for decades. No one in government has ever seen fit to pursue any indictments for anything that they have done in...

In his penetrating analysis of pagan Progressivism, M. Stanton Evans author of "The Theme is Freedom: Religion, Politics, and the American Tradition," observes that it is only against the background of neo-paganism that the bizarre 'isms' of Progressive politics come into focus. The common feature of all these movements – naturalism, materialism, sexism, multiculturalism, feminism, determinism, economic determinism, racism, heteronormativism, and patriarchalism for instance, is that they view irrational nature itself as ultimate and sovereign. In other words, they make a god of irrational nature – its laws, energies, and matter – which is precisely why Al Gore is synonymous...

Corruption: In the days since fired FBI Director James Comey testified to a joint hearing of the House Judiciary and Government Oversight committees, we are learning more about the man who once ran the most powerful law enforcement agency in the country — perhaps in the world — as well as the manner in which it operates, and it isn’t boding well for our republic. It was bad enough that Comey, who is supposed to be a smart guy and who was involved with the Justice Department for most of his professional life, ‘could not recall’ details of things he...

A Texas judge on Monday accepted a controversial plea deal sparing a former Baylor University fraternity president accused of rape any jail time, prompting outrage from the victim and her parents. Judge Ralph Strother signed off on the plea agreement for 24-year-old Jacob Walter Anderson, who was indicted on sexual assault charges and pleaded no contest to a lesser charge of unlawful restraint. A no contest plea means a defendant does not admit guilt, but will offer no defense.

(Snip) ---“ ........ We now know the FBI used an article from Yahoo News as independent corroboration for the Steele dossier when, in fact, Steele had talked to the news outlet,” reports Solomon. “If the FBI knew Steele had that media contact before it submitted the article, it likely would be guilty of circular intelligence reporting, a forbidden tactic in which two pieces of evidence are portrayed as independent corroboration when, in fact, they originated from the same source. These issues are why the FBI email chain, kept from most members of Congress for the past two years, suddenly landed...
