By-sheer-coincidence, the judges who managed the Wolfe docket in the District Court of Columbia are all hardline Democrats. As Rex explains, a cynic could argue that Lady Justice never stood a chance.
As we now know, James Wolfe, the veteran security chief of the Senate Intelligence Committee (SSCI), received a sentence of just two months for 'lying to the FBI', which now appears to be the 'go to' felony for the Department of Justice, when it wants to frame people, or cover up corruption.
It's an astonishingly lenient outcome for Wolfe, who in March 2017 either conspired with others, or took it on himself, to leak to a reporter the unredacted Carter Page FISA application, made by Obama & Clinton's goons to the FISC in October 2016.
The SSCI is arguably the most corrupt Committee in Congress. If Wolfe didn't leak on his own volition, it's highly likely that he did so on instruction from Senators on the Committee itself - in particular, Mark Warner, an Obama/Clinton heavyweight, who when learning of Wolfe's arrest would have immediately sought protection from Obama holdovers, in the DOJ. Leaking TOP SECRET intelligence : no charge?
Let's be clear : the Page FISA warrant application had the highest security classification possible, TOP SECRET. For a man in Wolfe's position, what he did was about the most serious offense possible.
Others have been jailed for far longer, for far less. Somehow, however, Wolfe was never indicted for this egregious breach of The Espionage Act. Instead, Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson was asked by the DOJ to consider yet another lame 'lying to the FBI' plea deal, with a sentence range of 0-6 months.
I was intrigued by the judge's refusal today, to consider an amicus brief by the victim of the leak : Carter Page himself.

Hmmmm... Yes, truly disgusting... And one might suspect that all the fantasies of a Great Secret Plan based upon “we have it all” etc. is not at all what is happening. Instead, it is a long difficult slog for the Trump admin., against many treacherous “deep state” actors... But internet fantasies won’t save us.
