Here’s what race baiting leads to. The blood of these police officers is on the hands of Bill de Blasio. It’s on the hands of Obama. It’s on Al Sharpton’s hands (but his hands are covered in blood from Crown Heights and Freddy’s) and they’re on the hands of a media that helped whip up the racist rants. Ismaaiyl Abdullah Brinsley announced on Instagram, They Take 1 Of Ours … Let’s Take 2 of Theirs. And murdered two police officers. He apparently spoke Arabic and his Facebook page from March 17 included this screenshot of the Koran.

The following tweets gleaned from responses to the execution of two police officers in New York City yesterday are about as raw and sickening as it gets. The Rev. Al Sharpton is denouncing any violence against police in the name of Eric Garner and Michael Brown. He also says angry rhetoric that somehow blames protesters or Mayor Bill de Blasio for creating the climate for such slayings is "reckless."

..... Today we mourn the loss of two NYPD officers who were gunned down in a vicious act of senseless violence. As soon as news broke of the tragedy in Brooklyn, I spoke with both the families of Eric Garner and Michael Brown. And let me be perfectly clear, we are all outraged and saddened by the deaths of these police officers. Any use of the names of Eric Garner and Michael Brown, in connection with any violence or killing of police, is reprehensible and against the pursuit of justice in both cases.

The shooter — identified as Ismaaiyl Brinsley — boasted about wanting to murder cops in the hours before he ambushed the officers outside the Tompkins Houses in Bedford-Stuyvesant about 2:45 p.m. “I’m putting wings on pigs today. They take 1 of ours ... let’s take 2 of theirs,” Brinsley, 28, wrote on Instagram, alongside a photo of a silver handgun.</p>

Obama endured harsh criticism for golfing minutes after issuing a statement on the beheading of James Foley at the hands of Muslim militants in September. “You know, it is always a challenge when you’re supposed to be on vacation because you’re followed everywhere. There’s always going...

Mayor Bill de Blasio said this is 'not the time for politics' following the murder of two police officers in Brooklyn on Saturday. This as New York City's police commissioner said the gunman who ambushed and killed two police officers had made online posts that were 'very anti-police.' Police Commissioner William Bratton choked up at a news conference at the Woodhull medical Center on Saturday afternoon as he talked about the fatal shootings of two officers in Brooklyn's Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood. Meanwhile, an eyewitness who spoke to The Daily Beast said that 'a lot of people were clapping and laughing' following...

“What do we want?” drones the blood chant. “Dead cops!” comes the reply. Done. Thus does rhetoric have consequences. There may have been just a single shooter in Bedford-Stuyvesant on Saturday afternoon. But New York’s failure to denounce without nuance the bloodlust that’s been boiling out of the corners of the Eric Garner-Michael Brown demonstrations for weeks now boils down to this: There is blood on many hands this morning. Yes, First Amendment. Yes, redress of grievances. Yes, peaceful protests — even as clogged bridges and mobbed boulevards created, however temporarily, very real peril for tens of thousands of New...
