BROOKLYN, N.Y. (WABC) -- Two police officers have been shot in Brooklyn.
Officers were shot in a patrol cruiser. Both are in critical condition. They were taken to Woodhull hospital.
Hundreds of police officers are on the scene.
It is unclear what led up to the shooting or where exactly it took place, but streets are shut down near Tompkins and Myrtle avenues. Several surrounding streets are also blocked, and many people in their neighborhood are not allowed to leave their homes.

How long until we begin to hear the “I UNDERSTAND” and “WHAT DO YOU EXPECT” with people having to live with these evil police and whatnot?
Shoot...Al Sharpton will probably claim this as a victory for black people because 2 cops are shot.
I’d like to think so, but if you consider the populace to police ratio, it doesn’t take more than a moment to realize this is a serious problem.
Total insurrection in the Black communities will nearly shut down the police in major cities.
This is when the national guard gets called out and martial law in declared for everyone.
When this happens, all care will be given to make sure Blacks aren’t harmed no matter what they do, and Whites will be shot dead for self-inflicted paper cuts.
