ST. PETERSBURG - A 16-year-old boy was arrested Tuesday night in the slaying of a St. Petersburg police officer, ending a massive, daylong manhunt. Accompanied by his parents, Nicholas Lindsey turned himself in about 6 p.m. He was arrested on a first-degree murder charge after confessing in the fatal shooting of Officer David Crawford, police said. A D.C. Police SUV was involved in a wreck at the filming of "Transformers 3" in Washington D.C. While the movie was filming a car chase scene on 3rd Street and Maryland Ave in southwest D.C., the police SUV collides with a yellow Chevy Camaro, which in the movie series is known as the character Bumblebee.
