It was just announced on Milwaukee's WISN radio that State Senator Joe Leibham of Sheboygan will NOT ask for a recount of the August 12 Primary election, thereby leaving State Senator Glenn Grothman as the Republican nominee for the seat left vacant by the retiring Rep. Tom Petri. No word yet on the final vote count. Glenn will be a great Congressman.

How liberal or conservative are America’s cities? TRUE to stereotype, San Francisco is the most leftie city in the union. But would people expect Washington, DC, to come second, ahead of Seattle (where it is legal to smoke pot) or the Democratic stronghold of Boston? On Friday, former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin recorded a video for her new website to talk about her brief encounters with slain Navy SEAL Chris Kyle. Last week, another former governor, Minnesota’s Jesse Ventura won $1.8 million from Kyle’s widow in a defamation suit against Chris Kyle’s estate. This did sit well with Gov. Palin.
