Cheer up, American millennials! I mean, seriously, CHEER THE **** UP! Oh, I know you’ve had a rough week ever since Donald Trump won the election. But it’s time to get a grip. STOP crying. STOP taking personal days off work to ‘process’ what happened. STOP huddling with your equally distraught buddies in Starbucks over your Venti Iced White Chocolate Mocha. STOP howling away on social media about how unfair life is and how it’s the end of the planet as we know it. STOP updating the exact number Hillary won the popular vote by, because it doesn’t bloody matter....

On Friday, I almost assaulted a fan of my work. I was in the Philadelphia International Airport, and a man who recognized me from one of my appearances on a television news show approached. He thanked me for the investigative reporting I had done about Donald Trump before the election, expressed his outrage that the Republican nominee had won and then told me quite gruffly, “Get back to work.” Something about his arrogance struck me, so I asked, “Who did you vote for?” He replied, “Well, Stein, but—” I interrupted him and said, “You’re lucky it’s illegal for me to...

PORTLAND, Ore. — More than 70 percent of the 112 protesters arrested in Portland last week didn’t vote in Oregon, according to state election records. The other approximately 30 percent did cast a ballot in Oregon or in another state. At least seventy-nine demonstrators either didn’t turn in a ballot or weren’t registered to vote in the state. Following Tuesday's presidential election of Donald Trump, thousands of people took to the streets in downtown Portland for five straight notes. The activity included at least one night that the police declared to be a riot, with more than $1 million in...

(Video at link) Van Jones gave Donald Trump some credit tonight for how he has conducted himself since winning the presidential election. Despite his issues with Trump and the meaning of his victory, Jones said that Trump has been very on-message: “You could not script a better human being than Donald Trump has been. If you sat down and tried to come up with it. He has been spectacular and there are more things he can do to carry this momentum forward.”

Several years ago, I was at a large luncheon function sitting next to the long-time editorial page editor at the paper where I worked as a special projects reporter. Right before the speaker arose, this editor turned to me and said, “I don’t understand how you can be a conservative and a Christian. Seems like by what Jesus taught in the Sermon on the Mount, you should be a liberal Democrat.” Setting aside that this man was himself an atheist, and the Biblically clear moral issues surrounding abortion and homosexuality, did he have a point? It’s relevant because that train...

Among the curiosities spewed from John Podesta's email by WikiLeaks is an intriguing memo to a group of billionaires that outlines the real goals of the Democratic Party's progressive wing. Turns out they don't want to rig an election, they want to rig the whole system — demographics, politics, the media, everything. The idea that the Democratic Party is the party of the "little man," as the old term would have it, is one of the great fallacies of our time, as this memo clearly shows. The Democratic Party has been captured by the interests of a handful of left-leaning...

This week's Mainstream Media Scream features CNN political contributor Van Jones declaring that GOP "obstruction" to a President Hillary Rodham Clinton amounts to "treason."... 'Listen, we think your ideas are wrong. We can make them better.' But when you just stop the entire government from functioning, there's a word for that: treason. That's the word. It's treason. You have to do your job. You have to do your job. You take an oath. Period."

I was honored to attend the southern California premier of Trevor Loudon’s new movie, “The Enemies Within” at a special event hosted by the American Freedom Alliance on Oct. 16, 2016, in Van Nuys, California. This movie is the result of Loudon’s long-career of carefully collecting available information regarding the ties public officials in the U.S. have to the Communist Party, Communist front groups, jihadist hate groups and nefarious institutions who oppose the Constitution and our way of life. I think it always comes as a shock to people with little interest in politics and government (which, I suppose, is...

The Obama administration is facing criticism and ridicule after a bizarre outburst by the John Kerry-led State Department urging Hungarian authorities to prop up a defunct Communist Party propaganda organ. In an official statement, the Obama administration, which recently attacked media diversity in the United States, echoed discredited conspiracy theories pushed by communists and called on anti-communist Hungarian officials to prop up the bankrupt newspaper — supposedly to preserve “media pluralism.” But the ownership of the far-left paper, known as Nepszabadsag, wants to shut it down, citing growing financial losses and plunging circulation figures. It was not immediately clear...

Wikileaks released its third set of John Podesta emails on Tuesday. Wikileaks has released over 5,000 of Podesta’s emails in the last week. Podesta is a top Clinton advisor and confidant. In one email the Clinton team admits Hillary has “begun to hate everyday Americans.” The email is titled “truth.”

A University of Virginia professor has taken a leave of absence from the school after he came under scathing attack over the weekend for likening the Black Lives Matter movement to the Ku Klux Klan. Douglas Muir, who teaches at the school, commented on Facebook that he believed that Black Lives Matter was the 'biggest' racist organization since the KKK. Muir, who lectures at UVA's Engineering School and who also owns a restaurant in the area, was responding to a Facebook post that included a photograph of a recent appearance by BLM co-founder Alicia Garza in Charlottesville, the campus newspaper...

In 449 B.C., the Roman government passed the Law of the Twelve Tables, regulating much of commercial, social, and family life. Some of these laws were reasonable and consistent with an economy of contract and commerce; others prescribed gruesome punishments and assigned cruel powers and privileges given to some. Other regulations fixed a maximum rate of interest on loans of approximately 8 percent. The Roman government also had the habit of periodically forgiving all interest owed in the society; that is, it legally freed private debtors from having to pay back interest due to private creditors. The Roman government also...

Apple has been named as the biggest corporate tax avoider in the United States after booking $218.55 billion (£171.6 billion) of profit offshore last year. The tech giant was able to save $65.08 billion (£51.1 billion) that it should have paid in tax thanks to its convoluted arrangements. The report revealed that last year three quarters of the Fortune 500 companies use subsidiaries in offshore tax havens where they sent a total of $2.42 trillion (£1.9 trillion) of income. In the US alone this amounted to $715.62 billion (£561.9 billion) in tax which they avoided paying. The report of said...

Why is political discourse so bad right now? How have Christian beliefs, particularly Catholic beliefs, and those who hold them come to be reviled by so many in the secular culture? Where did political correctness, gender conflict, gender confusion — and so many other aspects of the Culture of Death — come from? The answer to these, and many other questions, can be found in the EWTN Original Documentary “A Wolf in Sheep’s Clothing,” a chilling look at the impact of Community Activist Saul Alinsky, whose “Rules for Radicals” still wields a huge influence on American culture – and the...

I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.(John 9:4)The internet is an amazing phenomenon. In spite of all of it’s many uses for evil, the cyber-world is the last bastion of free speech available to the world, a kind of international “town square” of communication, inviting one and all into the various ‘conversations’ breaking out since it’s inception and explosive growth. Anyone who can type has a voice on the internet. Because of that some truly great writers and journalists have emerged, who never would have...

During a panel discussion Thursday at the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation’s annual conference, CIA Director John Brennan (shown) was trying to make the point that just because an individual has an “activist” background, that wouldn’t, or shouldn’t, keep him from working for the federal government in sensitive positions. After all, he said, the CIA hired him even after he admitted voting for a communist in the 1976 presidential elections. In 1980, Brennan was trying to obtain a top security clearance for the Central Intelligence Agency, and part of the process involved taking a lie detector test. He was asked: “Have you...

Jim Harbaugh, who coached Colin Kaepernick with the 49ers, has offered mixed opinions on the quarterback’s protests of racial injustice during renditions of the national anthem. On Saturday, the Michigan head coach expressed “support” for players of his who raised their fists during the anthem before a game against Penn State.

Who won the Cold War again? CIA Director John Brennan voted for the Communist Party candidate in the 1976 presidential election. Brennan told a congressional panel last week that he “froze” while taking a CIA polygraph test four years later when the questioner asked him if he had ever worked with or for a group that was “dedicated to overthrowing the U.S.,” CNN reported. “This was back in 1980, and I thought back to a previous election where I voted, and I voted for the Communist Party candidate,” Brennan said at a panel discussion regarding diversity in the intelligence community...

Hillary Clinton is an Alinsky disciple, going back to her Wellesley College days, fifty years ago, long before old age left its indelible marks on her. Half a century ago, Hillary was thoroughly indoctrinated by first-generation feminist leftists, for four whole years, until she wrote her B.A. thesis in praise of Saul Alinsky and his Rules for Radicals. From Goldwater girl to leftist radical in just four years. For Hillary, "deplorable" doesn't mean what the dictionary says....in the fantasy world of the Hillary left, Communists are peace-loving do-gooders. For the hard left, the only answer to alleged hatred is even...
