These are our friends and fellow grassroots activists, Tea Party members and long-time Republicans, county chairs and first-time caucus attendees, young and old, very conservative and not-as-conservative, all gathered together to move our country forward, select senate candidates for the June primary election, and to elect delegates to the GOP National Convention, who will help to select our next president. These are the Patriotic Americans that the Donald Trump Campaign compared to Nazis, using Gestapo tactics. These are the delegates that Donald Trump totally ignored until a week before the convention. This is the crowd who would have loved to...

Donald Trump is waxing wroth these days about Ted Cruz's rounding up of Colorado delegates and has called the whole GOP delegate selection process "rigged and crooked." He says this to audiences who probably know less about the state-by-state rules than he does. It is the blind leading the blind, telling the assembled mob to grab their torches and pitchforks and storm the establishment castle.

Colorado GOP Lied About #NeverTrump Tweet – The Account Was Not Hacked, It Was Posted by Trump-Hating Insider On Saturday Ted Cruz supporters took all 13 of the delegates up for grabs at the Colorado GOP Convention to complete a clean sweep of the state. But it was not without controversy. There never was a vote – Party elites decided on who got the delegates. The Cruz camp and GOP establishment leaders strong-armed their way to a sweep by banning Trump delegates and omitting them from the ballots… and listing Cruz delegates TWICE! After Cruz swept the Colorado delegates the...

In the caucuses March 1, I was elected an alternate delegate to the Colorado State GOP convention, which on April 9 will select and instruct our delegates to the Republican National Convention in Cleveland this summer. Accordingly, I have drawn up a resolution which is now being circulated which will forbid Colorado delegates to the national convention from voting for Donald Trump for president or vice president on any ballot. Such a resolution is necessary, because Trump has publically stated that his methods of operation include buying or renting the services of politicians for cash. As the text of the...

On Saturday Ted Cruz supporters took all 13 of the delegates up for grabs at the Colorado GOP Convention to complete a clean sweep of the state. But it was not without controversy. There never was a vote – Party elites decided on who got the delegates. The anti-Trump politicians were passing around a “Resolution to Forbid Colorado Delegates from Voting for Trump” for weeks before the convention. Snip... Robert Zubrin from Colorado Republicans for Liberty wrote about the anti-Trump resolution at American Thinker back on March 22, 2016: In the caucuses March 1, I was elected an alternate delegate...

On Tuesday’s radio program, Conservative Review Editor-in-Chief Mark Levin chastised Donald Trump for insisting that the Republican “primary system is rigged.” The system is not rigged, Levin said, and yet Mr. Trump sounds like an entitled liberal demanding delegates from Colorado without having put in the work to win them. It sounds like Mr. Trump is demanding “delegate welfare,” said Levin. The delegate appointment rules in most of these primaries have been established for nearly a century. In Colorado, for example, the rules for this primary process have been in place since 1912. “Has the system been corrupt for 100...

Everyone has already voiced their astonishment regarding the complete disenfranchisement of approximately 1,000,000 registered Republican voters in the State of Colorado. It is clear that the Colorado Republican Party has no interest in the voice of their constituents. The CO Republican Party rules for the delegation selection process and delegates are outlined at the source below. http://www.thegreenpapers.com/P16/CO-R As you have seen, the GOP is extremely proud of their achievement to privatize the selection of a presidential candidate for Colorado. They have published the list of Colorado delegates in The Denver Post and other sources. Many of you may have friends...

As Donald Trump attempts to distract from his campaign's myriad failures in Colorado by cynically stirring the "rigged corrupt game" pot, one of the public faces of this phony outrage is a gentleman who earned himself prime Drudge real estate when he dramatically burned his voter registration card on camera -- claiming that he was wrongfully turned away from the state party convention because he's a Trump fan. It's a disenfranchisement conspiracy cooked up by the elites, he argued, torching his Republican documentation in protest.  The Federalist's Mollie Hemingway was skeptical of the man's version of events and dug into the back story....

Suspicious white powder, together with vile anti-Semitic rant, triggered security scare; man could face year in prison. A Boulder man accused of sending letters containing a suspicious white powder to two Jewish organizations in the Colorado city pleaded guilty. Jeffery Thomas Klinkel, 34, pleaded guilty late last month to one count each of felony menacing and using a hoax chemical or biological weapon, the Daily Camera reported Monday. He will be sentenced on June 1 and faces up to five years in prison. On April 6, 2015, the Boulder JCC received a letter that read, "This Goyim is enjoying the...

Advancement by technicality is bad form. Advancement by manufactured technicality is dishonest. The GOP argument in the Colorado delegation scandal is, "No rules were broken because we make up our own rules. No rules were broken because we have the right to change the rules to our favor. 'The law means what we say it means.' If the law says something inconvenient, we'll change it." Just because no rules were broken does not mean it was ethical. Q: What kind of person maneuvers in the shadows taking advantage of unknown weak points, many of which they have personally created, as...

Donald Trump’s anti-immigrant revival tour might cause headaches for down-ballot Republicans who are already trying to put space between themselves and the divisive party front-runner. (SNIP) Three Senate Republicans from Latino-heavy states, Cory Gardner of Colorado, Dean Heller of Nevada and Jeff Flake of Arizona, are all well-practiced in the dance of softening tough-talk on immigration enforcement to avoid alienating voters.

YOU WON’T BELIEVE THIS! CRUZ SUPPORTERS ATTEMPT COUP AT EAGLE FORUM! Conservative icon Phyllis Schlafly has been a national leader of the conservative movement since the publication of her best-selling 1964 book, A Choice Not An Echo. She has been a leader of the pro-family movement since 1972 when she led the fight to defeat the Equal Rights Amendment. Phyllis Schlafly is 91 years-old. On March 11, 2016 conservative icon Phyllis Schlafly endorsed Donald Trump for President at his St. Louis rally. But not everyone in her organization, Eagle Forum – or her family – agreed with Phyllis Schlafly’s...

On March 1, the Colorado Republican party prepared for 60,000 voters to arrive at nearly 3,000 precinct-caucus sites across the state. Those voters would select men and women to attend the party’s county assemblies and congressional district conventions, in the first step of a multi-part process that determined 34 of Colorado’s 37 delegates to the Republican National Convention in Cleveland. To hear Donald Trump and his fans tell it, those tens of thousands of Republicans never arrived, never made their choices, and never had the chance to play a role in selecting the party’s delegates. Matt Drudge, the populist Right’s...

In the race for the Republican nomination, Donald Trump would seem to be in the catbird seat. He has won the most states, the most delegates and the most votes – by nearly 2 million. He has brought out the largest crowds and is poised for huge wins in the largest states of the East, New York and Pennsylvania. Yet, there is a growing probability that the backroom boys will steal the nomination from him at a brokered convention in Cleveland. Over the weekend, Colorado awarded all 34 delegates to Ted Cruz. The fix had been in since August, when...

In August 2015, the Colorado GOP cancelled its presidential preference poll, which was scheduled to coincide with the Republican caucuses on March 1, 2016. According to The Denver Post, the Republican executive committee "voted to cancel the traditional presidential preference poll after the national party changed its rules to require a state's delegates to support the candidate that wins the caucus vote." Colorado Republicans will still send delegates to the Republican National Convention in July 2016. District-level and at-large delegates (34) will be bound according to the preferred candidates indicated on their intent-to-run forms. RNC delegates (3) will be unbound,...

The funniest part of this is when he says the rules in Colorado were changed to help “a guy like Cruz.” In reality the rules were changed to block guys like Cruz. Colorado used to award its delegates via a caucus, but that backfired in 2012 when Rick Santorum upset Mitt Romney there. That’s how it tends to go with caucuses — unlike a statewide primary, they benefit well-organized candidates with a passionate grassroots following, both of which are hallmarks of Cruz’s campaign. When the rules were altered last August, decoupling the caucus from the process of awarding delegates, it...

Former Colorado GOP Chair Ryan Call spoke with Laura Ingraham today to explain the delegation-selection process in the state. Call told Ingraham: “The very time we should be opening up our doors and being more open and transparent, and welcoming people into our Party, we’ve essentially made the decision to close it off and make it more cumbersome and more difficult. And, to prevent the ability of people to have their voice heard in this process. You’re reinforcing all of the very worst stereotypes about the Party and I, frankly, am very concerned about the way voters are going...

Calling the Colorado Republican Party’s decision not to hold a primary popular vote a scandal, talk-radio host Michael Savage declared Sen. Ted Cruz should disavow the move and call for a vote. “What just happened in Colorado should, frankly, disqualify Cruz, who claims to be a constitutional conservative,” Savage told his listeners Monday. Savage is a strong supporter of GOP front-runner Donald Trump, who has been a regular guest on “The Savage Nation.” Savage said Trump has been “pushed aside by the ‘Republicrat and Demican’ party, which I have told you about since 1994.” “I told you we don’t have...
