  • Was Hillary Given the CNN Debate Questions Ahead of Time? (VANITY)

    11/05/2015 6:52:11 PM PST · by TigerClaws · 26 replies
Link is to the debate. Go to 13:15 in. Anderson Cooper asks a complicated question listing Hillary's political flip flops, including a bit of a zinger at the end of the question. Without taking even a half second to react to the question or zinger, much less ponder a response, she launches into a prepared mini-speech. Cooper was part of the Clinton foundation. Anyone doubt he slipped her questions ahead of the debate?

Anderson Cooper: Syria on a map. Can you find it? Hillary Clinton: As a woman... Anderson Cooper: Never mind. Senator Sanders, do you agree with the Secretary? Bernie Sanders: SYRIA? Why are we talking about Syria when 41 PERCENT OF 99 PERCENT of all the money is going to the 1 PERCENT. Anderson Cooper: Can you just answer the question. Bernie Sanders: Syria is CONFUSING. Lots of PEOPLE fighting. Economics...
  • Hillary Says TPP Details Were Made Public ‘A Week Or So Ago’ — But They Weren’t

The mystery over whether Hillary Clinton has reviewed the text of the Obama administration’s Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) trade deal took a new turn Thursday. “Now that the details have been made public, like a week or so ago,” Clinton said during an event hosted by the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce on Thursday, defending her flip-flop on the 12-nation agreement which she once called “the gold standard.” That remark mirrors something Clinton said during Tuesday’s debate in Las Vegas, when she said that after looking at the deal she changed her mind on the partnership, which President Obama is aggressively...

Columnist and author of “‘A Disgrace to the Profession‘” Mark Steyn argued, “things that would have been insane in the Bill Clinton era Democrat Party, are now conventional wisdom” and the other Democratic candidates are “ready to join” Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) “on the socialist ledge” on Wednesday’s “Hannity” on the Fox News Channel.
  • Watch: Most Journos Fail to Stand for Anthem at Democratic Debate

LAS VEGAS — Hundreds of journalists declined to stand during the national anthem at the Democratic debate at the Wynn Las Vegas, with only 20 out of nearly 400 rising from their seats, some recognizable from conservative media outlets. There are differing views as to the proper convention for a televised national anthem, though some suggest that when the anthem is played at a public event, even on television, those present should stand–even if they are observers. At the Republican presidential debate at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley, California last month, few journalists stood for the anthem

The Democratic National Committee is 'clearing a path' for Hillary Clinton to be its presidential nominee because its upper power echelons are populated with women, according to a female committee member who was in Las Vegas for Tuesday's primary debate. Speaking on the condition that she isn't identified, she told Daily Mail Online that the party is in the tank for Clinton, and the women who run the organization decided it 'early on.' The committeewoman is supporting one of Hillary's rivals for the Democratic nomination, and said she spoke freely because she believes the former Secretary of State is benefiting...

CNN's second debate on Tuesday night - and the first among the Democratic field - lured 9.2 million viewers, according to preliminary ratings from Nielsen. As expected, that's down significantly from the 23 million viewers who watched the network's Republican debate on Sept. 16.

Donald Trump handed CNN a ratings gift very early this morning – and another reason to demand that CNN pay him – when he announced he will live tweet the network’s Democratic debate tonight. News of the GOP front-runner’s plans had pundits adjusting upwards their ratings forecasts for tonight’s debate. Yesterday conventional wisdom had the debate clocking in at 8-million-ish, mirroring Dem debates’ best numbers in the last presidential election cycle. This morning, the 12-15M-ish forecast yesterday by one or two media navel lint gazers...

Back in August the news was being blared from the rooftops in media watching circles: the first GOP debate had landed Fox News the highest ratings they’ve ever seen, with more than 24 million people tuning in. (For a relatable comparison, last week’s Monday Night Football managed 14.4M.) CNN hosted the second Republican debate and they cashed in on some serious numbers as well, breaking their own personal best with 23 million viewers. One might suspect that the business of televising political debates is the new Big Thing in the television game.So CNN must be pretty excited about tomorrow’s...

Donald Trump wrote Tuesday morning that he will live-tweet CNN's Democratic Debate, kicking off in Las Vegas just hours from now. "At the request of many, and even though I expect it to be a very boring two hours, I will be covering the Democrat Debate live on Twitter," Trump wrote.
  • So. . .what are the rules of the Drinking Game for tonight's Democratic "Debate" ??

So. . . what are the rules for the inevitable Drinking Game for tonight's debate. I've seen the "Bernie Rule", every time Sanders pushes a "free" government program, you chug someone ELSE'S beer. And the Hillary! Debate technique of leaving the bar, taking the server with you, and having them make you drinks at home. But we need some point-scorers, gang. What do we drink to when the Teflon Leprechaun says something dumb. . .or bares his chest. . .or pulls out a musical instrument. What will Chaffee be tonight, Democrat, Republican, Independent, or just Confused. And what points can...
