Chelsea is so unpleasant, she’s causing high turnover at The Bill, Hillary and Chelsea Clinton Foundation. Since her arrival as vice-chairman in 2011, people left because she didn’t want them there. “She is very difficult,” says an insider. Chelsea has embraced all the trappings of a corporate CEO, with a personal staff almost as big as her father’s. “He has six. She has five." At her former employers, McKinsey management consulting firm and NBC, co-workers allegedly were told they couldn’t approach Chelsea. NBC paid Chelsea $600,000 a year. If someone wanted to talk to Chelsea, they had to go through...

**SNIP** Disclosure documents filed by Hillary Clinton last week revealed that the couple have earned about $25 million for delivering 104 paid speeches since January 2014. While Bill Clinton’s lucrative speaking career since leaving the White House in 2001 has been well documented, the new disclosures offer the first public accounting of Hillary Clinton’s paid addresses since she stepped down as secretary of state. And they illustrate how the Clintons have personally profited by drawing on the same network of supporters who have backed their political campaigns and philanthropic efforts — while those supporters have gained entree to a potential...

When the Clintons last occupied the White House, Sidney Blumenthal cast himself in varied roles: speechwriter, in-house intellectual and press corps whisperer. Republicans added another, accusing Mr. Blumenthal of spreading gossip to discredit Republican investigators, and forced him to testify during President Bill Clinton’s impeachment trial. Now, as Hillary Rodham Clinton embarks on her second presidential bid, Mr. Blumenthal’s service to the Clintons is again under the spotlight. Representative Trey Gowdy of South Carolina, a Republican who is leading the congressional committee investigating the 2012 attacks in Benghazi, Libya, plans to subpoena Mr. Blumenthal, 66, for a private transcribed interview....

A second secret e-mail address used by Hillary Rodham Clinton while she was secretary of state was revealed Monday. The e-mail address, published by The New York Times, was used in exchanges between Clinton and longtime adviser Sydney Blumenthal, and is from the same private e-mail server that was uncovered earlier this year. “Fyi. The idea of using private security experts to arm the opposition should be considered,” Clinton wrote Blumenthal from the e-mail address HRod17@clintonemail.com.

MASON CITY, Iowa — Hillary Rodham Clinton’s appearance here Monday at the home of Dean Genth and Gary Swenson — one of the first gay couples to marry in Iowa — spoke volumes about the political pitch and style of her nascent presidential campaign. Even as a global celebrity and the overwhelming Democratic front-runner, Clinton is doggedly focused at this early stage on highlighting her progressive values and on what she called “people-to-people connections” — aggressive organizing in the state where she placed a disappointing third in the 2008 caucuses. The event — the first of Clinton’s two-day visit —...

Clinton will visit Dean Genth and Gary Swenson, who were one of the first same-sex couples to marry in Iowa, at their home in Mason City with other Democratic activists, Last month, Hillary Clinton made history when her presidential campaign launched with a video featuring same-sex couples and marriage equality. Despite past claims by Hillary Clinton that she only used one email address as secretary of state, previously unseen email records show there was at least one other email address in use. The New York Times published new emails that were sent using the private email server set up by Clinton while she was secretary of state, and the Republican National Committee discovered that that multiple emails were sent from the “hrod17@clintonemail.com” address that Clinton’s attorney’s had previously said do not exist. In a letter to Rep. Trey Gowdy (R., S.C.) responding to a subpoena from the Benghazi Select Committee,...

Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton received nearly a quarter of a million dollars last year for a speaking engagement on behalf of Academic Partnerships, a for-profit education company in which Jeb Bush held an ownership stake and on whose board he served. Clinton’s newly filed personal financial disclosure shows that she was paid $225,500 on March 24, 2014 by Academic Partnerships. At the invitation-only event in Dallas, Texas, Clinton reportedly said, “today a student doesn’t need to travel to Cambridge, Mass., or Cambridge, England, to get a world-class education.”

The Republican National Committee published proof Monday that former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, through her attorney David Kendall, lied to the House committee investigating the 2012 Benghazi terror attack by stating that Clinton only used one private email account during her tenure as secretary. The RNC based their claim on Clinton emails published Monday by the New York Times that show her sending emails from an address named hrod17@clintonemail.com. Kendall, in a letter dated March 27, 2015 in response to a subpoena for emails from the hrod17 account and another account named hdr22@clintonemail.com, told the committee Clinton only used...

RUSH: Mrs. Clinton continuing to be in the news, not only problems involving her e-mails and questions that she will not answer. By the way, on these e-mails, you know, Hillary claims that she got rid of all those e-mails, 30,000 e-mails on her server that she got rid of, that she told us we didn't need to see. Just like Tom Brady and the Patriots, there's nothing here on my phone for you to see -- trust me -- there's nothing here, you don't need to see it, and I'm not surrendering. Hillary said nothing is on my server....

CBS This Morning was on the screen (I almost said "tube") this morning and I watched an exchange between Charlie Rose and John Dickerson. Rose introduced the topic as Marco Rubio being the latest GOP candidate to "run into trouble" this morning over his comments about the Iraq war. There clearly is a herd mentality out there among the media to play the gotcha game regarding Iraq. Rose played a video clip between Chris Wallace and Marco Rubio in which Wallace asks Rubio "Was the Iraq war a mistake?" Rubio answered properly that it wasn't a mistake at the time. Wallace...

snip While advising Mrs. Clinton on Libya, Mr. Blumenthal, who had been barred from a State Department job by aides to President Obama, was also employed by her family’s philanthropy, the Clinton Foundation, to help with research, “message guidance” and planning of commemorative events, according to foundation officials. During the same period, he also worked on and off as a paid consultant to Media Matters and American Bridge, organizations that helped lay the groundwork for Mrs. Clinton’s 2016 campaign. Much of the Libya intelligence that Mr. Blumenthal passed on to Mrs. Clinton appears to have come from a group of...

What to think about George Stephanopoulos? Some years ago, I worked with a young man who would later become momentarily infamous, during the season of Stephen Glass and Jayson Blair, when he was found to have fabricated aspects of stories for a very high-profile national news outlet. I found all those episodes maddening: As a writer for small community newspapers, I was used to being blown off by sources, accustomed to politicians and other worthies refusing to return my calls. But if you’re a writer for the Washington Post or The New Yorker, people pick up the phone when you...

Network honchos at ABC are scrambling to keep their George Stephanopoulos scandal from becoming a Brian Williams disaster. Insiders at ABC News said higher-ups were blindsided by Stephanopoulos’ hefty undisclosed donations to the Clinton Foundation, saying the contributions may have made damaged goods of their biggest star. “This is a bigger crisis than ABC will admit,” a source told The Post. “George is the centerpiece of their 2016 coverage. By donating to the Clintons, he has blown his credibility in one catastrophic move. “How can he moderate a debate or question a Republican candidate without questions over his impartiality?” Stephanopoulos...

Hillary Clinton’s campaign is likely to choose Secretary of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Julián Castro or another Hispanic politician to be her running mate, former HUD Secretary Henry Cisneros said in an interview that will air Sunday. “What I am hearing in Washington, including from people in Hillary Clinton’s campaign, is that the first person on their lists is Julián Castro, the ... Within two weeks of Haiti’s January 2010 earthquake, the word had already gone out from the State Department that Bill Clinton would be in charge of U.S. reconstruction efforts. “That means,” one individual told me and I reported in a Jan. 25, 2010 column, “if you don’t have Clinton connections, you won’t be in the game.” The “game,” as my source called it, meant securing hundreds of millions of dollars in no-bid contracts from the State Department’s U.S. Agency for International Development and grants from multilateral institutions like the InterAmerican Development Bank, which gets the bulk of its funding from...
