How does a ‘citizen’s arrest’ work? What are the legal ramifications of it’s being done incorrectly? cut Any citizen in California can make an arrest, said Harry Barbier, a retired San Rafael police officer who now works in private security. Tell the person they are under arrest and what they are under arrest for. Then call the police, he said. “You can handcuff them, if you place them under citizen’s arrest and you feel you have to arrest them right then and there before the police get there,” Barbier said. But be sure you know the law. A person —...

WorldNetDaily Exclusive by Aaron Klein Marxists, socialists, communists form group to plot on official campaign blog JERUSALEM (JULY 1, 2008) – Marxists, socialists and communists have created a safe space online to congregate, exchange ideas – including a stated revolution against the U.S. "oppressive" regime – and support their favored presidential candidate. Their meeting spot? Sen. Barack Obama's official campaign website, which allows registered users to form groups and post content in online "community" blogs. One popular community group on the Illinois senator's official MyObama website calls itself "Marxists/Socialists/Communists for Obama." "This group is for self-proclaimed Marxists/Communists/Socialists for the election...

Where would America be if it weren't for the traitor Jane Fonda? How many American soldiers died because of her antics? >p>Well, Hanoi Jane is back on the anti-American campaign (as if she ever left it). Did anyone happen to see this ad in the New York Times? Jane and her fellow comrades of The World Can't Wait are on their latest campaign to impeach George Bush and Dick Cheney. Didn't you know? They are "war criminals," they openly torture innocent people and they no better than Adolf Hitler. Did you get that? Hitler. You know that a liberal campaign...

I apologize for the vanity thread. I simply have no clue where to find an answer for this question aside from here. With the recent news of outright subversion of both our troops and President which multiple members of FR have responded to as being treason, is there any way for a normal citizen to force an indictment / investigation / etc.? You can do a Google search and find a senator charged with DUI, among other incidents, so it's not as though our senators and representatives enjoy immunity, it's just they're not being pursued in the right manner in...

"CAN you give me one minute?" With those words bus driver Michael Simon leapt from his bus, chased a thief 80m, tackled him to the ground and made a citizen's arrest yesterday. The 41-year-old was behind the wheel of a 423 bus on busy King St, Newtown, in Sydney's inner west when he pulled up at a stop at 11.30am (AEDT). It was then he noticed a man running out of a book store chased by a woman yelling: "Stop, stop, stop." Mr Simon stopped his bus with up to 30 people on board and excused himself. "My first reaction...

When I was a young teenager, the boys loved the sexy Jane Fonda in Barbarella. After I became an American soldier and a Vietnam veteran, she was "Hanoi Jane" to all of us. We were disgusted when she became a revolutionary and a communist sympathizer who sat on North Vietnamese anti-aircraft guns and gave aid and comfort to our enemy. Now Hanoi Jane has become "Jihad Jane," and she has decided that the terrorists of the world who cut off people's heads and blow themselves up to kill innocent men, women and children are not as bad as the Americans...

I finally found a link to Jihad Jane Fonda’s over the top remarks regarding the US withdrawal from Vietnam, and the ensuing massacre of South Vietnamese and Cambodians: ( BOR Talking points memo ) "What do you think about what happened to the three million Vietnamese and Cambodians who died after the U.S. troops left Vietnam?" FONDA: "It’s too bad that we caused it to happen by going in there in the first place. " The remembrances of the Cambodian killing fields are to many people reduced to photos of neatly stacked bones and skulls for the records of posterity....

Jane Fonda Cancels Anti-War Bus Tour Jane Fonda told me yesterday she's scrapped plans for anti-war bus trip next March. As well, Fonda will be making only two appearances this month on another rally with controversial British politician George Galloway, not the eight that were widely misreported in the press yesterday.

Jane Fonda is a beautiful and talented actress. But for many Vietnam veterans, she is remembered more as a despicable traitor whose betrayal undermined the sacrifices of millions of American soldiers, marines, sailors, and airmen – and in the process contributed significantly to a Communist victory in Indochina that led to the slaughter of millions of innocent human beings and the consignment of tens of millions of others to a Communist gulag that continues to rank among the “worst of the worst”[1] among the world’s human rights abusers. My Life So Far is Fonda’s attempt to justify the first six...

Delegates to the American Legion*s national convention in Honolulu, Hawaii, vowed Tuesday to use whatever means necessary to "ensure the united backing of the American people to support our troops and the global war on terrorism." "The American Legion will stand against anyone and any group that would demoralize our troops, or worse, endanger their lives by encouraging terrorists to continue their cowardly attacks against freedom-loving peoples," said Thomas Cadmus, national commander of the 2.7-million-member organization. While never mentioning Cindy Sheehan by name even though the "anti-war mom" has said she will soon return to Crawford, Texas, to continue her...

transcript of Jane Fonda's radio address which she had broadcast in North Vietnam. This transcription, dated August 22, 1972 was made from her Hotel Especen broadcast in Hanoi at 7:11 p.m. The following was submitted in the U.S. Congress House Committee on Internal Security, Travel to Hostile Areas. [HR16742, 19-25 September 1972, page 761] -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [Broadcast] This is Jane Fonda. During my two week visit in the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, I've had the opportunity to visit a great many places and speak to a large number of people from all walks of life- workers, peasants, students, artists and dancers,...

The Fallen Hero and the Living Traitor By Lt. Col. Gordon Cucullu FrontPageMagazine.com August 2, 2005 Here is yet another case of the kind of bizarre juxtaposition that continues to characterize the Vietnam War well into the first decade of the new century. I refer on the one hand to the recent loss of Admiral James B. Stockdale, a highly decorated Navy aviator and prisoner of war of the North Vietnamese for seven grueling years. His funeral services were held, appropriately, on the Navy carrier the USS Ronald Reagan with the full military honors the Medal of Honor winner deserved....

See Dick talk. See Hanoi Jane talk. Mark Malaszczyk July 29, 2005 She is nipped. She is tucked. She is enhanced. And she is BACK. Sixty-seven year old Actress/Activist Jane Fonda has announced that she will launch a cross-country bus tour to protest the war in Iraq, scheduled for March 2006. "I've decided that I'm coming out," she said. Green tea drinking, tofu-eating, Birkenstock-wearing, pale, emaciated vegans with multi-colored ribbons all over their tattered backpacks are rejoicing across America, running to get a second tattoo on their lower back and a ninth piercing in their left ear in tribute to...

Jane Fonda's second coming Cal Thomas July 28, 2005 We've all seen them: aging athletes, beyond their prime, trying to squeeze out one more fight, or one more season, but failing to bring back their glory days. That seems an appropriate analogy for the return of Jane Fonda to the political stage. Having made her first movie in many years ("Monster-in-Law") that was a box office success, Fonda apparently thinks her new visibility gives her a certain credibility to comment on the Iraq war. She has announced plans for an anti-war bus tour next March. Why is she waiting so...

FRANCE -- "Hanoi Jane" Fonda seems to have tired of her moniker. The wilted flower child who firmly established her place in American history when she mounted a North Vietnamese anti-aircraft gun has decided it's time to teach a whole new generation to blame America first. If she actually goes through with her plans for a new protest movement, she may well become known as "Jihadist Jane." It has a better ring. More alliteration. Fonda says she wants to criss-cross the nation in a bus powered by vegetable oil, advocating the end of U.S. military operations in Iraq. She's inviting...

An American Traitor: Guilty As Charged By Henry Mark Holzer and Erika HolzerFrontPageMagazine.com | June 10, 2005For three decades Jane Fonda obfuscated, distorted and lied about virtually everything connected with her wartime trip to North Vietnam: her motive, her acts, her intent, and her contribution to the Communists’ war effort. With the aid of clever handlers, she so successfully suppressed and spun her conduct in Hanoi that many Americans didn’t know what she had done there, and, more important, the legal significance. Three years ago, our book, “Aid and Comfort”: Jane Fonda in North Vietnam (McFarland & Co.), laid bare...

Jane Fonda has worked as an actress and then retired, gotten married and divorced several times, condemned cosmetic surgery and then had eye lifts and breast implants (and later had the implants removed). The list of reversals is a long one, but in one area of her fabled life Fonda has remained resolute. She refuses to pass up an opportunity to take a stand against American foreign policy when U.S. service men and women are fighting totalitarian forces in the world. Famous for posing, smiling, in a photo on a North Vietnamese anti-aircraft gun, Fonda is now planning a national...
