A particularly ominous warning was put out by the FBI’s Internet Crime Complaint Center this week alerting people to the potential dangers internet-connected toys pose to adults and children alike. Not only do these ‘spy toys’ have the potential to record kids’ conversations, track their movements, reveal their location — they even allow perverts to TALK to children directly. The alert, titled: CONSUMER NOTICE: INTERNET-CONNECTED TOYS COULD PRESENT PRIVACY AND CONTACT CONCERNS FOR CHILDREN, warns users of the security risks and vulnerabilities posed by this new line of smart toys that connect via wifi or Bluetooth to your home network....

Former House Speaker Dennis Hastert was released from prison on Monday after serving 13 months for lying to federal investigators about money used to hide sexual abuse charges. In May 2015, Hastert was charged with felony counts of illegal bank structuring and lying to the FBI. In October 2015, Hastert pleaded guilty to those charges before admitting in April 2016 he sexually molested teenage boys while coaching wrestling at Yorkville High School in Illinois. A federal judge chastised Hastert for his behavior and sentenced him to 15 months in prison, which he did not appeal. His anticipated release date had...

Last year, Norway made headlines with its major crackdown against child abuse dubbed Operation Dark Room. In recent months, the investigation has grown to involve more suspects and cases. Hispanics and Blacks in this rural area do not put their children in car seats and law enforcement does little or nothing about it. When they have a wreck, the result is awful. Wonder if anyone else has made this observation in other parts of the country?

How to teach your children to read and understand the King James Version of the Bible Why? Before getting into the question of how you can teach your children to read and understand the King James Version, we should probably first discuss why you should want to do so. If you are an English speaker, even if you are an atheist you should want your child to be familiar with the great works in the history of the English Language, and the King James Version is certainly close to the top of the list, if not at the very top....

Little Nylah Lewis remained in critical condition Thursday at Maimonides Medical Center with multiple skull fractures and bleeding on the brain — four days after Shaquan Taylor, 19, allegedly pounded on her tiny body during a Father’s Day visit. Relatives said the girl needed a blood transfusion.

Michigan is set to become the 26TH American state to join the federal government in criminalizing female genital mutilation, even as two Detroit area doctors and one of their wives await trial for inflicting the procedure on a number of young girls. FGM, which is common in some parts of Africa and the Middle East, involves using a razor to remove all or part of a girl's clitoris and parts of the vulva. By Western standards, this amounts to child abuse and criminal assault. FGM defenders claim that the practice makes girls feel "clean;" that it helps them to fit...

Florida Democratic Party chairman Stephen Bittel is considering resigning following backlash from racially charged comments he made toward members of the legislative black caucus. The tension started at a Saturday fundraiser for the Florida Democratic Party, the Miami Herald reports. Bittel shortened the program by removing a segment in which state legislators would be recognized. Bittel referred to the anger from lawmakers over the snub as "childish." Bittel also said State Sen. Oscar Braynon (D.), a black legislator who expressed lawmakers' unhappiness to the chairman, was acting "like a three year old." After the dinner, white State Sen. Lauren Book...

The American Center for Law and Justice, an organization that works on behalf of persecuted Christians both in the United States and overseas, has scolded the United Nations Human Rights Council for ignoring the plight of Christians in Iraq and Syria. Sinn Féin party leader Gerry Adams denied new accusations Thursday that he concealed child-abuse crimes within his own secretive movement, this time allegedly committed by a Belfast officer of the outlawed Irish Republican Army. Mairia Cahill, a member of one of Belfast’s top IRA families, appeared alongside a former foreign minister outside Ireland’s parliament to accuse Adams of conspiring to suppress her reports of being raped by an IRA commander from Adams’ home district in 1997, when she was 16. …

The devil has a special place in his black heart for children. He delights in stealing their innocence, using those under his demonic influence to commit the most unspeakable acts against the under-aged. So it was in the time of Moses that Pharaoh ordered all newborn Hebrew boys be put to the sword to cull the growing Hebrew population. So it was in the time of Jesus that Herod the Great ordered the massacre of all the boys in Bethlehem two years old and younger so that he would not be supplanted as King of the Jews. And so it...

he New York Times is dispensing parenting advice in its latest identity politics piece all about raising “feminist sons.” “We raise our girls to fight stereotypes and pursue their dreams, but we don’t do the same for our boys,” writes columnist Claire Cain Miller. “They’re discouraged from having interests that are considered feminine. They’re told to be tough at all costs, or else to tamp down their so-called boy energy.” Miller reached out to “experts” for her piece, including rabid feminist Gloria Steinem, and featured her dastardly quote: “I’m glad we’ve begun to raise our daughters more like our sons,...

Kiddie choirs. Children’s piano recitals. And a full-on, erotic drag show complete with gyrations, tongue gymnastics and a flashed G-string. Families at a Manhattan public school talent show got an unexpected lesson in human sexuality when a grown man took the stage in a black, sequined dress and flaming red wig and performed a raunchy drag number where he grinded the stage and spread his legs. The official public school Learning Expo held May 25 in an auditorium at the Museo del Barrio was billed as a talent show for students from across Manhattan’s District 4 to show off what...

The science-deniers are running the LGBTQ show over at the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS), and dissenters will not be tolerated. The department’s new “enhanced” policies promoting the “well-being of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer/Questioning (LGBTQ) children and youth in the Department’s care” ratchet in one direction only: encouraging children towards LGBTQ identities. DCFS has drawn a rainbow-colored line in the sand, announcing it “will not tolerate exposing LGBTQ children and youth to staff/providers who are not supportive of children and youths’ right to self-determination of sexual/gender identity.”

A new teaching aid telling primary school children that terrorists kill people because they believe they are treated “unfairly” has been slammed by education campaigners. Published just weeks before a suicide bomber attacked a concert in Manchester, killing 22 people including seven children, Talking About Terrorism recommends teachers “invite children to write a letter to a terrorist”. The book, which contains forewords by NSPCC Chief Executive Peter Wanless and the director of the Jo Cox Foundation, describes terror incidents in which people launch indiscriminate attacks on members of the public as “a type of war”. Terrorists kill people because they...
