A new teaching aid telling primary school children that terrorists kill people because they believe they are treated “unfairly” has been slammed by education campaigners.
Published just weeks before a suicide bomber attacked a concert in Manchester, killing 22 people including seven children, Talking About Terrorism recommends teachers “invite children to write a letter to a terrorist”.
The book, which contains forewords by NSPCC Chief Executive Peter Wanless and the director of the Jo Cox Foundation, describes terror incidents in which people launch indiscriminate attacks on members of the public as “a type of war”.
Terrorists kill people because they think they are being “treated unfairly and [are] not shown respect” according to the book, which goes on to give examples of “terrorists” it says were on the right side of history, including Nelson Mandela.
“The Suffragettes used violence and were called terrorists … Today many people think of them as brave women and admire their struggle for the right to vote,” it stated.
Published by Brilliant Publications, the book contains a foreword by Jo Cox Foundation director Iona Lawrence which impresses the importance of fostering “tolerance”.
Lawrence, who campaigns to bring illegal immigrants living in camps in France into Britain, warns that the world is “witnessing huge political and cultural shifts — one of these is the rise of extremism”.
Stating that “values and beliefs are shaped from the youngest age”, the foreword asserts the need for a “fairer, kinder and more tolerant world”, with Lawrence writing: “Children and young people can and should be equipped with the confidence to stand up for these values.”
But critics have slammed the book, which was written by Alison Jamieson and Jane Flint, as potentially dangerous.

I find it incredibly unfair that a measurable number of hours of my time every week are used to feed and clothe and provide shelter and entertainment people who not only contribute zero value to society, but negative value via crime and wasted resources and contine to propagate descendents who will also be a drain and a burden to the community at an ever exponential rate. It amazes me that the global warming scam people are not against it, as their entire purpose of coming here is to increase their carbon foot print by one or two orders of magnitude, then bring as many family members and create as many new ones as possible. The world CO2 production and resource utilization climbs exponentially with these immigrants who will never ever contribute anything of positive value. Can democrats name a city that needs more population and traffic? One suburb that can be improved by making it sprawlier? A single rural town that would better with double or triple the population? A single green area that should become a town or new suburb? What single thing is better? /rant
In this case it’s not that they felt mistreated. rather it’s because they felt the concert to be extremely immoral and an example of the immorality of the Western culture. I have read Muslims saying that they hate Western culture and must stump it out because they fear it will infect and destroy their families. They haven’t a single valid thought, except their hatred of the rottenness of too much of our culture. Their culture, if they should look at it honestly, is full of wicked immorality, but they don’t see that.
What they did is evil beyond comprehension, but the motive wasn’t ill treatment. In this case, not all, or even many, it was a combination of just plain jihad and making a statement against what they perceive of as the immoral culture of the west. And, of course, the immoral leftist pansies isn’t going to come out with a statement concerning turning away from our vast immorality, as they rather say that it was ill treatment.
All governments in the west are insane and need immense extreme purging. Us or them, we know they care not if we survive. Have to get them before their policies murder us. They are far, far too gone for genuine reason to bring back.

Back in the 70’s and 80’s, when Israel was at the receiving end of most Islamic terrorist attacks, Left wingers had a whole list of reasons why Israel deserved to be attacked. It was all about “stolen land”, “the right of self determination”, “illegal occupation”, “illegal checkpoints”, “apartheid”, etc.
Now that Islamic terrorists are killing people in Western nations......from office workers at the World Trade Center to adolescent girls going to pop music concerts, Left wingers still have all sorts of excuses and apologies for these terrorists......”chickens coming home to roost”, “disenfranchised immigrants”, “anger over Islamophobia”, etc.
If there’s one positive aspect of Islamic terror being exported to the West, it’s that the farce of being “pro Palestinian” has been exposed as being nothing more than “anti-Western”, as it seems that there isn’t any part of the world where, according to the Left, Muslims don’t have “legitimate grievances” that makes terrorism understandable, if not downright justifiable.
I know that the word “insane” is overused in describing lefties but what else can you say about comparing suffragettes with jihadis. I don’t think suffragettes blew up children and beheaded chauvanists.
Western Europe has surrendered to the Jhadis.
So the suffragettes murdered people? Beheaded people? If there were suffragettes who used this type of violence, then most likely they were fairly and equally executed for committing a crime.

To liberals blowback is a defense and a charge.
If a muslim detonates a bomb or goes on a rampage shooting, we are told to shut up, because muslims fear blowback.
When the West is attacked we are told it is justified retaliation for Boosh’s “war” or support of Israel or any of a number of things. A college prof. called those dead in the WTC Little Eichmanns.
The West is highly immoral many have as a result of so many forgetting God. At the same time there are a good amount of people in the West who haven’t. These people are God’s jewels hidden in the field of the West. It is because of these people that the judgments of God have not fallen as heavily on the West as it otherwise would. It is because of these people that satan hates the West and the it’s culture that still has their influence in it.
Other cultures that are largely devoid of knowing God can often be quite evil. He uses them, though, to judge His errant people.
