As Jane would learn, her perfect, new man had been sneaking in to her 10-year-old daughter “Michelle’s” room at night, molesting and abusing her. Scarred, her daughter had become withdrawn and terrified of the world. As Yahoo! reports, however, that all changed when a group of rugged bikers — led by a man named Tombstone — showed up at her home one day. Tombstone and a group of his brothers and sisters were members of Bikers Against Child Abuse (BACA). Even in her traumatized state, Michelle remembers the moment they pulled up on her doorstep: “There’s just allthese bikes. There’s...

The video captures the young boy seated in a chair as an unidentified stripper wearing a pink bra and underwear can be seen gyrating against his face as he spanks her backside while tossing money in her direction. Then, to add insult to injury, at least three other children were also present at the time of the stripper’s performance as an unidentified person filmed the striptease. It is unclear where the mother was during the party, but it has been reported that she did, indeed, hire the stripper.

A British father has been banned from taking his son to a church after the boy's Muslim mother won a controversial court order preventing the boy from attending. The father – a non-practising Muslim who has forged close connections to his local Christian community and is divorced from the boy's mother – has been warned that he could be denied access to the nine-year-old if he attempts to take him to church or to a leisure centre it runs. Now the father, who was born in the UK to Pakistani parents, is challenging the ruling made by District Judge Williscroft...

The American College of Pediatricians warns educators and legislators that “a life of chemical and surgical impersonation of the opposite sex” is dangerous for children. In a strongly worded statement issued today, the professional association of pediatricians says “a person’s belief that he or she is something they are not is, at best, a sign of confused thinking.” It describes such thinking as problem that exists in the mind and not the body and “it should be treated as such.” The college of pediatricians is joining a heated debate that increasingly pits concerned parents against school teachers, administrators, legislators, and...

The number of children being given medical treatment for "gender confusion" has risen 1000 percent over the past five years. The NHS's Gender Identity Disorder Service treated 1,013 children, between April and December last year, a freedom of information request by The Sun revealed. In 2010, just 97 cases were recorded. The Tavistock and Portman NHS Trust, based in London, is the only clinic in the U.K. that provides such treatment. But as demand for the treatment increases, the Trust may seek to offer treatment in their Leeds, Brighton and Exeter clinics. At the clinic those under 18 years of...

In second grade, the family agreed to let Daniel legally change his name and at the boy's request, his school agreed to go along with the change, even letting Daniel use the boy's bathroom. "He is very well-adjusted" but still feels stress because he knows not everyone is so accepting, Heumann said. Daniel "was very anxious before coming out at school," but refused the option of keeping the secret, Heumann recalled. "He looked at me and said, 'Dad, I can't. It's harder to live a lie and not as I am truly than to deal with this anxiety right now.'"

Depraved acts of violence as well as other 'people and community' harming anti-social behaviors often occur when emotionally or physically abused and neglected developing young children mature into depressed, frustrated, sometimes suicidal *(NY Times May 18, 2015...

Updated | The Vatican has told new Catholic bishops that they have no obligation to report clerical child abuse, according to reports. During a presentation for newly appointed bishops, French Monsignor Tony Anatrella said they don't have a duty to report abuse because it should be the responsibility of victims and their families to go to the police. The comments were first reported by John L. Allen at the Catholic news site Cruxnow.com earlier this week. Anatrella, a psychtherapist and consultant to the Pontifical Council for the Family and the Pontifical Council for Health Care Workers, is known for his...

The Obama administration failed to protect thousands of Central American children who have flooded across the U.S. border since 2011, leaving them vulnerable to traffickers and to abuses at the hands of government-approved caretakers, a Senate investigation has found. The Office of Refugee Resettlement, an agency of the Department of Health and Human Services, failed to do proper background checks of adults who claimed the children, allowed sponsors to take custody of multiple unrelated children, and regularly placed children in homes without visiting the locations, according to a 56-page investigative report released Thursday. And once the children left federally funded...

Octavius Humphries' and Seth Smiley's story began on Christmas Eve 2010. They'd met online and, despite a 19-year age difference, agreed to a first date on Christmas Eve. Octavius describes it as an "amazing" first date. And then Seth told him his mother was expecting the two of them for Christmas dinner. "I just thought, nobody really should be alone on Christmas," Seth says. "Me being black and you being white and the age difference," Octavius says, "I thought that this was just going to be a recipe for disaster." But Octavius instantly lit up the house, Carole remembers. "And...

WASHINGTON — Al Qaeda allies running terror camps for tots on the Afghan-Pakistan border are using video of a boy “martyred” in combat to recruit jihadis. The apparently lifeless body of the child, an Uzbek boy younger than 11, is the focus of the grisly half-hour video by the Islamic Jihad Union — a radical Uzbek group practically indistinguishable from Osama Bin Laden’s network, according to U.S. officials. "In a fierce battle in Waziristan between the soldiers of Allah and the friends of Satan, Abd al-Rahim was wounded by an arrow," says an Uzbek narrator, referring to a bullet or...
