The Internet is chock-full of the heartwarming reunions between soldiers and their beloved dogs. But a cat named Finn proves that felines can miss their owners just as much as their canine counterparts. In the adorable video, Finn, one very chatty Ragdoll, paces by the door and meows in anticipation. Finally the door opens and soldier Nick (only identified by his first name in the video) strides in to be enthusiastically greeted by Finn and Nick’s girlfriend, who is filming the reunion on her smartphone. Boo, the couple's Siamese cat, patiently awaits in the background. After Finn rubs on Nick’s...

The other night, my wife was awakened by one of our Siamese rescue cats sniffing and poking around her face. This is a rescue cat that is considered 'her' cat. He waits at the door for her to come home from...

My cat allegedly has had several physical altercations with neighbors' cats and it is said he has eaten their food after these incidents. We are not conceding that he has ever done anything wrong, as there are no video tapes of these alleged actions. However, we would like to state for the record that if indeed there is any small truth to these allegations, there are many extenuating circumstances that would not only excuse his supposed behavior, put prove it to be commendable. Evolutionary - Cats fight other cats and take their food. That is "survival of the fittest," the...

I'm sure there's no intention of scaremongering here. And I realize that handing our lives over to technology is something we do on planes, in trains, and every time we attempt to express ourselves in public. We are an oddly trusting species. Somehow, though, there seems a certain joy in controlling one's own destiny behind a steering wheel. When there's no wheel at all, we're at the mercy of someone else's dream. This may have disturbing consequences.

The agony of unrequited love. It may be what keeps us devoted to the felines in our lives. A recent study confirms what cat owners have long known. As "My Cat From Hell" returns to "Animal Planet" for a fifth season, HuffPost TV spoke with Jackson Galaxy for a friendly reminder that basically everything we think we know about cats is wrong. Galaxy, the most (/only) famous cat behaviorist in the world, elaborated on the beauty of pet parenthood and all the kitty I-love-you's you've been missing out on. When cats blink, they're basically saying "I love you" ... For cats, communicating love is the equivalent of communicating vulnerability. As predators, a long blink is actually a very important feline gesture, because it surrenders the animal to harm...
