According to Blaze reporter Elijah Schaffer, Philadelphia Police have lost control of the riot and white people are now being “specifically targeted and attacked.” The mob is so anti-white, that Antifa was not welcome with them and had to hold a separate demonstration in another location. Schaffer, who was violently attacked earlier in the evening while reporting live from a shop that was being looted, tweeted that the rioters are also “shooting each other.” “Philadelphia police have completely lost control of the affected rioting region which stretches multiple city blocks,” Schaffer tweeted. “Looters have broken into over 30+ stores...

RUSH: This is Steve Castor. I mentioned this also in the previous hour, but I want you to actually hear it: Vindman admitting that in his opinion Hunter Biden had no qualifications for being on this board of Burisma. CASTOR: We talked a little bit at your deposition about whether Mr. Biden was qualified to serve on this board. And I believe you acknowledged, that apparently, he was not, in fact, qualified? VINDMAN: As far as I can tell, he - he didn’t seem to be. RUSH: Now, Steve Castor is the Republican counsel who starts off in a plodding,...

For four years, photographer Louis-Marie Preau would lie motionless underwater for hours at a time to get this perfect shot of a Eurasian beaver carrying a branch back to its lodge. Equally as impressive as Preau's efforts were the efforts to pull these delightful creatures back from near extinction. Via bioGraphic: Prized for both their fur and their castoreum—a scent-gland secretion once believed to cure everything from headaches to hysteria, Eurasian beavers were nearly hunted to extinction by the middle of the 19th century. In France, the species (Castor fiber) was nearly wiped out entirely, with the exception of a...

We're sorry in advance if we've just ruined your appetite. But, the rumors are true: There might be small amounts of beaver butt goo in some of our favorite gummy candies, ice creams, sodas and baked goods. Don't worry though, it's safe. For the past 80 years, we've been using the "brown slime" emitted from beavers as a way to add vanilla, strawberry and raspberry flavors to some of our favorite foods. How exactly does this work? Beavers emit the chemical compound castoreum from their castor sacs. The sacs are located under the animal's tail and are secreted when they...

A fat beaver stuck in a wrought-iron fence was rescued this week by a quick-thinking animal services officer. The adult beaver, still carrying excess fat from winter hibernation, was found stuck between two fence bars around noon Tuesday on a private property in Hamilton, city spokesperson Ann Lamanes said in a release. Officer Sarah Mombourquette used soap to free the beaver, which suffered some injuries. After resting at the city’s animal services shelter and snacking on some vegetables, the beaver is recovering at the Hobbitstee Wildlife Refuge in Jarvis, Ont., and is expected to eventually be released back into the...

Saskatchewan rancher Adrienne Ivey may have heard of a beaver, but until now, had never seen a beaver herd — cattle, that is. On Friday, Ivey and her husband were surprised to see 150 of their heifers crowded together in one of their pastures. Curious about the strange behaviour, they investigated further, to find the herd of cattle following a beaver that had wandered along. "He was out and about, I think looking for a new place to build a beaver lodge, and they were following him," Ivey said. "There was about a three-foot space around him. They didn't want...

Cpl. Yingling had a unique call for service when the suspect, pictured, was witnessed causing prop. Destruction at a store in Char. Hall. The “suspect attempted to flee the area,” as the sheriff’s office put it in a statement, but it was apprehended by animal control and released to an animal rehabilitator — hopefully not just to be released into the wild, but to be taught basic shopping etiquette.

Explanation: Earth's annual Geminid meteor shower did not disappoint, peaking before dawn on December 14 as our fair planet plowed through dust from active asteroid 3200 Phaethon. Captured in this southern hemisphere nightscape the meteors stream away from the shower's radiant in Gemini. To create the image, many individual frames recording meteor streaks were taken over period of 5 hours. In the final composite they were selected and registered against the starry sky above the twin 6.5 meter Magellan telescopes of Carnegie Las Campanas Observatory in Chile. Rigel in Orion, and Sirius shine brightly as the Milky Way stretches toward...

Caligula's Roman palace discovered By Bruce Johnston in Rome (Filed: 08/08/2003) The ancient palace in Rome that provided the backdrop for many of Emperor Caligula's wildest depravities has been found by British and American archaeologists. After two months of digs at the edge of the Forum close to the Palatine Hill, the group - involving Oxford and Stanford Universities, the British School at Rome, and the American Institute for Roman Culture - were confident that they had found the site. While it had been known from ancient sources that the palace was in the area, it had never been located...

Can an immigrant without a green card get a Florida Bar card? Aspiring lawyer Jose Godinez-Samperio, 25, a Tampa-area resident, is hoping the answer is yes. Rep. Kathy Castor is responding to vocal critics of heath care reform after getting drowned out by boos at a town hall meeting in Ybor City Thursday night. "Everyone is welcome, we need a healthy debate, but you cannot have a healthy debate on how to lower health care costs for families and help seniors and get kids to the pediatricians office when people are just going to get in your face and yell," she said. Castor left soon after the meeting started and says the near riot is the latest example of dirty politics at town halls across the...

America has been sucker punched. The unifier, the great post-racial, post-American President, has adopted the street tactics of Chicago thug politics. His ACORN/SEIU/Union goons are beating up decent American citizens at town hall meetings. And with the violence comes vilification: House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has claimed that protesters are "carrying swastikas and symbols like that to a town meeting on healthcare." Union thugs beat up a protester, Randy Arthur, at Florida Democrat Congresswoman Kathy Castor's town hall meeting in Tampa on Thursday. Castor's union thugs also shut the doors to prevent the opposing opinions from being heard. Fifteen hundred people...

Awesome video from inside of Representative Kathy Castor's Townhall. The video is professional quality and show sights and sounds and Democrat Operative trying desperately to stack the room and create a cheerleading session. Alas, it wasn't to be, the chants from outside, and the few brave citizens who were able to get inside still made their presence felt.

TAMPA — It's a political Rorschach test, the way people see these bitter protests of town hall meetings on health care. Take that mass vitriol on display in Ybor City on Thursday, when more than 1,000 people — many of them chanting protesters — essentially shut down what had been planned as a discussion/pep rally for President Barack Obama's health care proposals. One person sees liberal activists and union thugs locking the doors on hundreds of average citizens trying to speak out. Another sees unhinged right-wing zealots trying to shut down open discussion. "It's like an abstract painting where both...
