That corporation you speak of means jobs for people. They also offer health insurance. If you had your way Walmart would end up closing all their doors. Take a look at Detroit. The unions and democrat politics have turned it into a 3rd world cesspool.

My bro in law was a union guy. He was a lazy butt who smoked dope and and drank on the job, he should have been fired, but he still had a job, that is, until the union bled the company dry and they closed down.

Well I can see that I’ve hit a nerve....

I’ve worked in one union shop. Yes it was Steelworkers. If you look at the posts of my responses, I have clearly stated that I don’t always support the union or its tactics. The article wasn’t about unions. It was support for a worker’s right to join if they wanted to.
What I don’t understand is the heated debate over this story and the lack of comment over articles (placed here as well)about missing and dying children. You people seem to care more about the prosperity of a global corporation than the lives of children. How diluted your perceptions of what truly matters has become.

I've never seen anything like it in the Grey Cup: the Roughriders were all over Montreal until about the last 5 minutes of the 4th quarter and they still could have put it away but for that one bonehead penalty.

Businesses have grown up around here since Walmart came in.

I hope Walmart sticks to its guns and NEVER allows the union in. My son worked for a grocery store for awhile. For some reason, the store employees were in the Steel Workers Union. He started getting their news letter. I couldn’t believe the lies and crap that were printed in that rag!
