<p>Forgotten but not gone, mad mama Cindy Sheehan is still ranting away over at the Fluffington Toast in hope of defying Andy Warhol and scoring a 16th minute of fame. In her latest post, she declares, "George Bush needs to stop talking, admit the mistakes of his all around failed administration, pull our troops out of occupied New Orleans and Iraq, and excuse his self [sic] from power."</p>

The Summer of Cindy is over, and just in time. The mainstream media have drawn a discreet curtain over the activities of the woman they followed breathlessly for weeks, milked for all the anti-administration propaganda she was worth, and then dropped like a hot potato. Maybe no one cares about Ms. Sheehan any more. Many, of course, never cared about her in the first place. But, given the Madonna-like status that she was accorded during her "vigil," it seems only fair to shine a bit of sunlight on Sheehan's current activities. <p>Just when you thought it was safe to go back in the MSM water, up pops Cindy Sheehan.</p> <p>The Today show’s pretext for bringing back Cindy was her return to Crawford.</p> <p>It seems that Sheehan’s media consultants have been hard at work, grooming a more media-savvy, less over-the-top image for Sheehan. She managed to avoidcharging W, as she has in the past, with being the world’s biggest terrorist, or engaging in thinly-veiled anti-Semitism as when she previously spoke of neo-con Paul Wolfowitz making her “skin crawl.”</p>

<p>It is truly sad how Cindy Sheehan has dishonored her son in so many ways. She has called the men who killed him, "freedom fighters." She has even tried to hint that he died from "friendly fire."</p> <p>And perhaps worst of all, Cindy appears to have blatantly misrepresented Casey's thinking about his service and the Iraq war. Casey's father, Patrick, is now on record of saying that his son was proud of his service in the Army.</p>

Anti-war activist Cindy Sheehan is now purportedly "channeling" her slain son, Casey, from heaven, suggesting he's calling President Bush "an idiot," and she claims to have "tens of thousands of angels" supporting her cause to bring home immediately American troops serving in Iraq.
