President Bush charged Tuesday that anti-war protesters like Cindy Sheehan who want troops brought home immediately do not represent the views of most U.S. military families and are "advocating a policy that would weaken the United States."
Bringing our troops home from the quagmire that he has gotten us into will be weakening the United States? George: even if you pretend you didn't know that Saddam did not have weapons of mass destruction and Iraq was not threat to the USA before you invaded--Americans know differently. We have read the reports and the Downing Street Memos. We know you had to "fit the intelligence around the policy" of invading Iraq. I want to know what your real reasons were.
In brief remarks outside the resort where he is vacationing, Bush gave no indication that he would change his mind and meet with Sheehan after he returns to his Texas ranch Wednesday evening. Sheehan lost a son in Iraq and has emerged as a harsh critic of the war.
I will be back in Crawford George: Even closer to you now in Camp Casey II. Why don't you channel some courage from my son and come down and face me. Face the truth. Your house of cards built on smoke and mirrors is crumbling and you know it.

I did a search for a few likely keywords and didn't find this posted; apologies if it's been posted already. I wanted to post it to mention a theory of mine.
Sheehan's public statements like this one are generally promulgated by michaelmoore.com. This particular statement was produced mere hours after the Associated Press article in question.
Conclusion? She's Michael Moore's baby. Moore himself has become, if not toxic, at least politically questionable to the undecided middle, so he works behind the scenes. He's driving the whole Sheehan thing, he's feeding her the drivel she spouts, and he writes (or at least drafts) statements like these.
At least, that's the theory. I wrote a detailed, line-by-line response on my blog.
Too bad Cindy doesn't see her son for the Hero he is.
Not THIS American!!
This, by the way, is another data point that suggest that Moore is driving this thing. He's called the President "George" for a long time.
In my blogged response, I address this by saying: "Oh, go on, be honest with yourself. Just go ahead and address him as Chimpy McBushitler; you know you want to."
Her complete arrogance is making my blood pressure go up.
OK, it's official: Cindy Sheehan is a certifiable nut.
Nice going, Mrs. Sheehan, we knew you had it in you!
Cindy (OK, we know Michael Moore is writing this tripe, but let's pretend it is her) obviously hasn't read the Downing Street Memo, since it discusses the possibility of Saddam using WMDs against the troops in the event of an invasion. It doesn't disprove the belief in WMDs, it reinforces it.
If someone doesn't jam a muffler up her a^% pretty soon, she is going to explode!
Ever wonder why she doesn't blast Clinton, Kerry, Gore, Kennedy, and all the other libs who also said there were WMDs in Iraq?
This has nothing to do with her son, but everything to do with destroying this President and this Country.
On the outside chance that mm really doesn't understand how that "weakens America", I will explain it so that even he can understand.
Pulling our troops prematurely would only convince the evil doers that we won't stay the course, that we can be beaten by a relentless, traitorous msm campaign of "words".
I held my nose and read the article: the woman suffers from a serious case of disconnect; her "point-by-point" responses to President Bush's statements aren't rebuttals at all, but rather a public attempt to steer the "conversation" to what she wants it to be.
The left's continual whining and cajoling reminds me of demons.
Cindy, I believe that was 'fixed' the intelligence around the policy, not 'fit'. She can't even be honest about her lies.
Cindy, You wouldn't listen anyway. Your small mind is completely made up and polluted by your AMERICAN-HATING handlers. You and your ilk can die in that field waiting for "George" to show up for all I care.
I don't think I've heard him acknowledge her at all. He just refers to 'her' and 'she' in response to reporter's questions.
Having said that I must say that I find Mrs. Sheehan extremely tiresome.
Gee, where does Cindy find the time? Since leaving Crawford a week ago for a family emergency, Cindy sure has been politically active for someone whose mother has just suffered a paralyzing stroke. Seems she went back home to recharge her batteries and get some help from the likes Michael Turdmoore, Joan Baez....but where's Jane Fonda? I agree, Cindy's reference to President Bush as "George" sounds JUST like something TurdMoore would write.
