Most of what is called Christianity today in America is very, very weak, causing the apostasy, which drives any nation. No one wants to deal with it and, when you do, you are mocked, called names, etc. Why? Well, when people cannot defend their position from God's Word, they are left to personally attack you, which is what they did to those in Scripture.
