MY THIRD LECTURE leaves the sanctuary of religion and enters upon the domain of the State–the first transition from the sacred circle to the secular field of human life. Only now therefore we proceed, summarily and in principle, to combat the unhistorical suggestion that Calvinism represents an exclusively ecclesiastical and dogmatic movement. The religious momentum of Calvinism has placed also beneath political Society a fundamental conception, all its own, just because it not merely pruned the branches and cleaned the stem, but reached down to the very root of our human life. That this had to be so becomes evident ...

Just wondered if anyone can help. I have an old Packard Bell pulsar 20 which I recently bought second hand. It badly needs more RAM and I wondered if anyone can tell us what type of RAM I should be looking for. I did a search and only got a reult off 1 site so I want to doublecheck it. As far as I know I'm looking for Pc66 standard SD RAM 168pin Dimm. Does that sound right. Also just wondered if it is possible to upgrade hard drive.

Come, lay all night in sackcloth, ye ministers of my God. For the meat offering and the drink offering is witholden from the house of your God. Sanctify ye a fast, call a solemn assembly." And then to verse 17 of the next chapter, "Let the priests, the ministers of the Lord, weep between the porch and the altar, and let them say, Spare Thy people O Lord, ...

"To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved."—Ephesians 1:6 We must now look at the last three words in this sixth verse — "in the beloved". They constitute one of these magnificent summaries of the gospel. As we have seen, the Apostle emphasizes that we must always think of the gospel in terms of the glory of God. It is all "to the praise of the glory of his grace". He has also reminded us, and especially in this sixth verse, of the extraordinary privileges that we enjoy as the ...

The Sovereignty of God Prof. John Murray The sovereignty of God I take to be the absolute authority, rule, and government of God in the whole of that reality that exists distinct from Himself in the realms of nature and of grace. It is a concept that respects His relation to other beings and to all other being and existence. It is, therefore, a relative concept, or a concept of relation. If God possesses and exercises this absolute authority, rule, and government, the necessary presupposition of it is the oneness, or unity, of God. It is a fact to which ...
