This morning, Feb.11, 2003, as a guest on the Morning talk show, former President Clinton expressed "regret" for Pardoning billionaire financier Marc Rich; saying that if he had it to do all over again, "I would have let the Bush administration do it." Narrowing his glance, Clinton goes on to say, "Cheney's cheif of staff was Rich's main lawyer, so I should have let them do it!" Clinton, unempeded by any interruption from interviewer Katie Couric, goes on to complain about the Justice department investigation into his pardons, saying that if Bush pardoned Rich, there would be no investigation, and...

What do these liberals want? With one side of their mouths they are crying out that War with Iraq is an "ugly, unnecessary fight. Most of the world is saying 'no' to it" ....and out of the other side, they say that Bush knew of Al-Qaeda's plans and did nothing to stop it! What do they actually believe? What do they think Bush should have done to stop the 9-11 tragedy? They complain of everything he does to prevent another, worse scenario! Which do they want him to do---save American lives, or allow them to be incinerated by a nuclear...

At 8:30 am EDT, I watched a long political ad, produced by the Today show, for Mr. McBride, the democratic candidate for Governor in Florida! Every word favorable, and wonderful. He is the greatest, smartest guy! Not even a hint at anything other than wonderful! But, they were sure to include as many veiled insults against Jeb Bush as possible! The show had an interview with Bush on last week. Of course that piece tried to paint Bush in as much as an unfavorable light as it could, without being obviously biased. It focused on how hard it is for...

The Rev. Jesse Jackson didn't use the harsh words of Harry Belafonte to describe U.S. Secretary of State Colin Powell when he spoke in Athens Sunday, but he told his audience to be clear on one thing about Powell. ''He's not on our team,''Jackson told a packed house at Greater Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church, which celebrated its 110th anniversary Sunday. ''If he wins, Trent Lott wins. We're not on that team. If he wins, we lose. If he wins, poor folks lose.''/

A camel waits as its owner, not seen, waits for tourists on the Mount of Olives view point overlooking Jerusalem's Old City, Thursday, Oct. 17, 2002. From the start of the fighting through the end of 2002, Israel's hotels will have lost 1.9 billion shekels (US$400 million) worth of business, the Israel Hotels Association projects. Millions of foreign visitors have stayed away, about 60,000 industry workers have lost their jobs and more than 50 hotels have closed. Top left in background is the Dome of the Rock mosque, part of the the compound known to the Muslims as Haram...

The fact is that Saddam Hussein was our boy. The CIA helped him to power, as they did the Shah of Iran and Noriega and Marcos and the Taliban and countless other brutal tyrants. The fact is that George Bush Sr continued to supply nerve gas and technology to Saddam even after he used it on Iran and then the Kurds in Iraq. While the Amnesty International report listing countless Saddam atrocities, including gassing and torturing Kurds, was sitting on his desk, Bush Sr pushed through a $2bn "agricultural" loan and Thatcher gave hundreds of millions in export credit to...

Miss Harold said abstinence education is an important component of youth-violence prevention because violence is directly related to sexual permissiveness and promiscuity. "I think that if a young person is engaged in a promiscuous lifestyle, it makes them vulnerable to other risk factors, so I definitely see a tie-in there," she said. "Many victims of sexual harassment believe what is said about them, and they become very promiscuous. When they're called a whore, when they're called a slut, they think, 'That's what I want to be,' and so they engage in a pattern of self-destruction that can be very detrimental...
