Jesse Jackson, you are not on anyone's team!

The Rev. Jesse Jackson didn't use the harsh words of Harry Belafonte to describe U.S. Secretary of State Colin Powell when he spoke in Athens Sunday, but he told his audience to be clear on one thing about Powell.

''He's not on our team,''
Jackson told a packed house at Greater Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church, which celebrated its 110th anniversary Sunday.
''If he wins, Trent Lott wins. We're not on that team. If he wins, we lose. If he wins, poor folks lose.''

I wonder if that church will have their tax exempt status removed, like so many conservative churches have had happen to them when they did much less that this man has here? They merely handed out voter guides at church!

The Dems get away with this stuff, because no media advertises the actions of it's own favorite miscreants by airing the story; not even Fox news... and the Right never sues over this. Isn't there a conservative group who will sue to have the tax exempt status of this church removed, because Jackson is giving a political speech...not a sermon.

I didn't know Colin Powell was running for an office, just what would he "win" come election day? I find it interesting that the last quote from Jesse, about "we lose,....poor folk lose", is he saying that he is poor folk? Do the people he is talking to have any idea just how much money Jesse has and what he has been doing with it? I wonder, was his wife or mistress with him when he was making this speech, or for that matter any of his children from either relationship?

"He's not on our team"

Best compliment Jackson could have given Powell. Every time I want to despair about what Powell says as the United States' chief diplomat, along comes a liberal to show me that I need to have a bit more faith in our Secretary of State!

Just remember friends, two years ago it was Madeline Not-too-Bright! Anything is an improvement from her!

BILLDO AND SHRILLERY, JESSE JACKHONKEY, CARTER UTTT-UNDER-THE-TABLE TRAITOR; AND THE LIST SEEMS TO GO ON AND ON.

It's enough to boil one's blood.

Glad there's Jesus to help relieve such hideous pressures!

Looks to me like he's begging not to be stricken down by the Lord for spreading his lies and hate within the House of God. What a mockery he makes of Christianity, and I'd sure enjoy watching his turn come Judgement Day for Jesse. I somehow don't think he'll be residing in Heaven.

Right! You are so right! He is not poor. No, he has taken advantage of every black person he has ever met, to gain personal prestige, sexual gratification and wealth! He uses the money given to him, that is meant to help the poor, to pay off his mistresses...and whatever he wants, I am sure!

But, I believe that a church that gives him the pulpit needs to have their religious exemption pulled. They are a political action committee.

I don't know about that, as the church could claim that they invited him to speak, but really had no control over what he said once he was introduced. Assuming that he was an invited (and probably paid) speaker. It is wrong that he does this, but it may not be the church's fault.

But if I - a simple church member - not paid staff - were to get up on the podium and tell those in attendance that the Demonrats were the embodiment of Satin on earth - just watch how fast the IRS would come down on the church!

LOL!

Jesse seems to be following the book written by Willie Lynch; On "The making of a Slave"...to the letter! I wish more people would wise up and admonish this huckster! For your information here is what the slave owner/slave control "expert", had to say. This is the man that we named "Lynching" after:

"I use fear, and envy for control purposes. These methods have worked on my modest plantation in the West Indies and it will work throughout the South."..... "I shall assure you that distrust is stronger than trust, and envy is stronger than adulation, respect or admiration."...."Don't forget you must pitch the old Black male vs. the young Black male, and the young Black male against the old Black male. You must use the dark skin slave vs. the light skin slaves and the light skin slaves vs. the dark skin slaves. You must use the female vs. the male, and the male vs. the female. You must also have your white servants and overseers distrust all Black, but it is necessary that your slaves trust and depend on us, They must love, respect and trust only us.".....

Gentlemen, these kits are your keys to control. Use them." ---Willie Lynch 1712 speech

Fear. Fear and envy is what Jackson specializes in! He brings up another person of a lighter color, in the speech on Sunday: Noelle Bush---and he tries to make others envy her! How disgusting!

Jesse Jackson has used the advice, in the Lynch letter, to enslave people to himself! They do the work and he reaps the benefits! He even has the female "house slaves" bear him children!

House Votes to Keep Pastors Muzzled

By Ben Taylor, CitizenLink editor

Pastors and churches were denied their free speech rights on Wednesday, when the U.S. House of Representatives rejected a bill that would have lifted the ban on political speech imposed on the nation's houses of worship.

House members voted 178-239 on the Houses of Worship Political Speech Act (H.R. 2357), which would have removed restrictions on pastors and churches that limit their ability to speak out on the moral and political issues of the day.

Currently, the Internal Revenue Service can revoke the tax-exempt status of any church that engages in partisan political activity.

"What that means in practice is that neither a pastor, nor the church in its official publications, in the way it allows its meetings to go on or anything else, can show any sign of partisanship in an election," said Michael Schwartz, vice president of government relations for Concerned Women for America.

He lamented the vote, but said it provides citizens with valuable information.

"Every one of us now can take a look at our representative in Congress and know whether that representative is in favor of religious liberty, or in favor of threatening pastors with punishment if they speak out," Schwartz said. "I bet a lot of (those voting against the bill) have actually personally campaigned in churches, and isn't that an interesting piece of hypocrisy."

He added: "But whether they have personally campaigned in churches or not, I think we can go to work on changing their minds and helping them understand what the Constitution's really all about.
