So many here can't allow themselves to believe what their eyes, ears and brains are telling them - it will be a huge landslide R win tonight... and even into the rest of the week when some states finally tabulate vote counts. Yes, some will come back towards D as the week progresses, but not enough.

House: R + 50
Senate: R 53-56

These aren't what I “wish for” predictions, but what I expect. My wish numbers are higher.

Oh, as a NY resident, throw in Zeldin to win Gov. of NY. That is 50/50 IMO. It CAN happen and it IS going to be close either way here.

I think many here are creating a story of some sort of gay relationship gone bad that just doesn’t hold up to the facts. In doing so, you miss a much more likely story of some sort of extorsion on the part of DD and PP not coming through with the cash (or favors he wanted thru NP or whatever).

It would appear DD DID break in, save your “glass on the outside” columbo detective work, it isn’t correct. Glass goes all over when it breaks, and maybe used the hammer to scrape out shards after breaking.

It would appear the PP knew him in some way, again, maybe drugs or something, then a shakedown break in from a nut job? Then the cops come, Pelosi thought the guy would just leave when he called 911, but he didn’t. Now, Pelosi is between a rock and a hard place - IF the cops show up with DD there it can all come out as to what he’s up to. So when they show up, it turns to Chaos because neither PP nor DD have an explanation.

Then DD follows through on his threat to beat on PP if he doesn’t pay up. He doesn’t care if cops are there because he’s screwed anyhow and nuts anyhow.

Then..... the long cover up of whatever the actual reason for him being there was and why in gods name PP opened the door for cops, no physical contact at that time, then goes back into house where DD is. They started with the “where’s Nancy” yelling - reported by who exactly? Then the hero PP angle - smart as a whip for covert call to 911, then we find out that DD knew about the call, then they tried wrestling over hammer when cops showed up, turns out they were far away from each other when PP answered the door.

Now all that’s left is to try to put off the sordid truth until after Nov. 8th. PP is into something that got him involved with the low end of SF street life. What? Don’t know. It’s clear though that this is a full out cover up, story changes daily, no way to explain the known FACTS and too many departments involved to keep it under wraps forever.

Anyone with any humanity had to feel bad for the guy. It was just painful to watch. Oz was actually much better than I expected, having not seen him at all on the political stage. He was pretty good actually.

Everyone knows that 100% of the Fetterman vote is a vote for the Senate Dem leadership, nothing else. No one is voting for this guy, sorry, but that’s a fact. If you’re a Dem believer, I guess maybe you vote for Dem for senate no matter what, BUT you sure aren’t watching this then sayin “Yep, that’s my guy, can’t wait to have HIM represent me”.

Prob Fetterman hurt the entire Dem party for Nov election. Anyone who saw this debate HAS TO be thinking “Oh my God, what are they trying to put over on us”. The press also was fully exposed for defending and hiding him. Anyone who said “he’s communicating just fine” is now a VERY obvious liar.

Actually, just sad and hard to watch. Not fun at all. I actually have some new respect for Fetterman’s guts, unless he doesn’t know how painful this is.

This sort of nonsense doesn’t help.... Specially coded shots, give me a break.

Actually (and very ironically) Bernie Sanders is the one screaming that this is indeed a huge tax cut for the very rich. So we are counting on Bernie for sanity on the left...

So many Americans don’t understand tax deductions. The Standard deduction for a married couple will be $25,900 in 2022. So it’s not just those with SALT taxes over $10,000 who will benefit, you still have to have $25,900 in total deductions (including SALT) before your SALT deduction gains you a penny in tax savings. So it’s really the very highly taxed, both property and state income taxes, who actually benefit. Say, taxes for 1.a house at $11,000; 2. a second Home at $9,000 then State Income Tax of $5,900 just to BEGIN any value from this. You’re talking the top 5% in only the high tax states! Maybe 1-2% top wealthy in the USA. Othrs never meet the $25,900 so SALT deduction no use to them...

While I agree the lockdown has been a poor response to COVID, it is just false stats to claim the death rate being 1.5 per 10,000. This is DURING the pandemic, so not the “final” stats, AND this is after lockdown. Such nonsense.

Why can’t these people do anything on time? In the business world, we have meetings ON TIME every day. just another arrogant “my time is more important than yours” elitist attitude.

I can’t miss this though.... so still playing hooky from work to watch.

Looking at that ad objectively.... it was just an awful idea! YES, Trump is a pig and disrespectful towards women - any honest person knows that. However, how does it make sense to run a “children are watching” ad, saying how awful it is that kids have to see this vulgar behavior - and place it on the ULTIMATE family TV show - the World Series!?!?!? How stupid.

Also, because it had to be “cleaned up” for TV, it really looked stupid, regardless. Worst waste of money I’ve seen in political advertising.

Lastly, I think the primary effect the ad had was to solidify in voters’ minds that HRC has NOTHING left. This old material is it?!?!?! Wow.

Strange... I don’t hear HRC and her gang (used literally) asking for the FBI to “lay it all on the table” any more! oops.....

Need “Where is Huma” chants at all Hillary/Surogate events until election! She can’t get away with “no comment” on her #1 aide no longer in public.

Let’s not get so caught up in this that we lose our most important instinct on these things - common sense! OF COURSE the POTUS knows what’s going on in the latest email review! And yes, Comey knows quite well at least the scope of what they have, if not the details. He couldn’t say he knew this and that because the search warrant hadn’t been issued last week, but obviously he didn’t make this public NOT knowing... he knows!

Also, the whole idea that Comey is doing this for TRUMP!?!?!? I don’t know exactly but I’d bet he’s no fan of DJT! There is only ONE logical conclusion to infer here - comey knows, and by extension POTUS and FLOTUS know. The gig is up and the last one left on the ship takes the hit. It’s the DOJ vs. FBI vs. POTUS - and I promise you, it won’t be the FBI that goes down with the ship - as much as the DOJ and POTUS tried to make them do.

They mean “enthusiasum for HRC declines”.... but they just can’t bring themselves to say that in the headline. The poll shows just that.

My guess is this: It is well know that FBI rank and file are up in arms over this case. I believe Comey received notice from the foot soldiers of FBI that they have no choice but to go fully public with their concerns unless he re-open an HONEST case. Clearly, WE ALL KNOW that she bleached the server because it was a open/shut case if anyone got a hold of it.

This was Oct. 23-26 poll according to the report. With Trump trending up, HC down. Weighting questionable also, but really no one knows turnout until it happens. Overall, a very scary poll for Dems. Trump is peaking and she is losing all excitement .... and is hiding ala Romney in 2012, trying to run out the clock. 11 days is way too long to run out.

Based on the poll attached, Trump just needs Philly not turning out in huge numbers. It’s hard to know if they covered all rural areas also and just lumped them into closest city, so not sure how city focused this is. Also, the woman numbers for Hillary must scare the hell out of D’s. I they were all “with her”!?
