'My Prediction: President Trump will investigate."

IMHO You are correct. I believe that O'Keefe and Assange are both playing a much longer game. Of course these releases are meant to impact the election.

But I believe that their primary aim is to be the used in litigation in the Trump administration. Assange detailed this in his talk at the 10 year birthday celebration a few weeks ago. He took pains to describe the careful work being done to catalog, reference, and cross check the information before releasing it so it could be used in court for litigation.

It is not legislation. It is an executive order. Congress, through the House and the Senate, legislates.

This press secretary is lying outright and trying to confuse an uneducated public about what is going on.

Once again, the executive branch does not legislate. Congress legislates. It is the separation of powers and one of our basic cornerstones.

Our founding fathers planned to have actions like this "undermined" by Congress.

No they don’t care about winning. McCain practically endorsed Obama in 2008 and Romney gave up after the first debate in 2012.

Their goal is to prevent us from electing anyone who would stop the illegal alien inundation.

They have been paid billions to accomplish that by The Cheap Labor Express.

The plan this time was to flood the field with as many candidates as needed to slip ¡Yeb! through with small percentages. He’s a Democrat in an R jersey and is recognized as such by a majority of GOP voters, it was going to hard enough without adding in the Trump factor.

The PTB in the GOP/RNC know how unpopular ¡Yeb! is and his positions on issues are liberal/progressive and not conservative. Getting Pataki,Christy, Perry, Kasich, Rubio, Graham, Huckabee, Walker, and Paul into the race was essential to drown out Ted Cruz.

The RNC’s playbook is very effective, McCain and Romney being nominated is proof of that.

¡Yeb! was supposed to be the beneficiary of that this time.

    Then Trump happened.

Excellent summary of where we are. You have been reading Conservative Tree House. A great source on the GOPe roadmap.

Are we beginning to see dysfunctional chaos from the media and the DC elite who control them? Dysfunction has occurred when the hole is dug so deep and the panic and fight so irrational that everything they do just makes their situation worse.

Yes. Trump is inside their OODA decision making loop. They are off balance and lashing out. Trump has been doing this for decades in business. Trump's proving ground has been in business and the media. He comes from an entirely different playing field than the usual political candidate. They just can't size him up.

Trump thinks on his feet, has street smarts, is a man of action, reacts quickly and as we are finding out, is a lot smarter than most people have given him credit for.

Good analysis all. We are of like mind on Trump.

Look at what is before our eyes. Read the man. Study his demeanor. Read his history.

Trump is in this race to win. He is not backing down. He is not pulling out. He is committed and serious about this. He means to sit in the oval office for the purpose of restoring America. Underestimate him at your peril.

This conjecture about him pulling out or stepping aside that we hear is based on what? Wishful thinking is all. There is nothing to base it on but idle conjecture. Read him. Look at him. Can't you see what is before you.

And the crowds know it. They see he is going for the goal line and will not let anyone stop him. As Patton said "Americans love a winner."

Tonight in South Carolina, when he addressed the crowd I saw a slight change in his tone and approach. Tonight he spoke to friends, his team, with the knowledge that he was breaking new ground and had the enemy in a lather. I saw a greater seriousness and the joy of battle in him.

Yes, you are right, Doughty One, he will not do it as we expect it and he will probably do some things we don't like when in office. In total, though, I think he is the man best suited to lead a revolution to save America. He will bring a big wave of people with him, like Reagan did, energized to fight the battle to save America.

Trump is truly a Black Swan and the elitists just don't know how to handle him. In that he came out of the blue and is so unexpected, I do see God's hand in this. It will not be easy though. We are going into a very pitched battle here.

British lobster backs weren’t often encountered in the far southern colonies.

After 1780 they were. The overall commander, Clinton sent Cornwallis down south to split up the colonies by starting a second front. He wrongly guessed that the South was a bastion of British loyalists.

Cornwallis devastated Charleston and moved inland slaughtering patriots as he went. This won little local support. He sent one flank to the west headed by Ferguson to subjugate the North Carolina mountain people. Militias and mountain hunters rose up and wiped out Ferguson and his men at Kings Mountain.

Washington answered Cornwallis' challenge and sent Nathanial Green and Daniel Morgan to the Carolinas. Cornwallis sent his east flank headed by Tarlton after Morgan.

The more experienced Morgan goaded Tarlton into a frontal charge at Hannah's Cowpens. Using tactics he developed at Saratoga, Morgan used successive lines of militia and Continentals to break Tarlton's charge and kill and capture almost all of Tarlton's forces.

Green then lead the remainder of Cornwallis' forces in a chase all over South and North Carolina wearing his troops down. Green then fought Cornwallis to a draw at Gilford Courthouse. This was approximately portrayed in "The Patriot".

After these three defeats Cornwallis knew he could never beat the American commanders again.

His forces depleted and unable to subjugate the South, the weakened Cornwallis went to Yorktown to combine with the British troops there. The rest of the story you know.

The Southern campaign is not as well known as the Northern one. Green and Morgan were remarkable leaders and did much with almost nothing. Green was at Washington's side since the beginning of the war. Washington trusted him to counter Cornwallis in the South and he did it along with the help of Morgan and several local militia leaders.

It mentioned one event which I only recall was of a Japanese pilot who landed on one of the more remote islands and who the locals hid from America.

The incident at Niihau Island immediately following the attack on Pearl Harbor was instrumental in leading to the decision to start internment.

Two Zero pilots were shot down in the Pearl Harbor fight. Only one survived, crash landing on the outermost Island of Niihau. At that time Niihau was inhabited largely by native Hawaiians and American Citizens of Japanese descent.

The pilot was able to recruit a Japanese American citizen couple to work with him to round up his neighbors by gun point, at one point trying retrieve the machine guns from his downed plane.

His neighbors were shocked. The couple, the Haradas had lived in Hawaii their whole lives and were American Citizens. Yet when a Japanese Zero pilot drops from the sky they then round up their neighbors by gunpoint.

The story is much longer and some accounts can be found here.

Incident on Niihau Island - Jason Bellows

    The Niihau Incident - HistoryNet.com

The islanders were isolated and completely under the control of the Japanese. They were readying the plane's machine guns on a cart. The islanders feared the worst..

The incident ends when a huge brave Hawaiian rushed the pilot taking three bullets and lifting the pilot high overhead and dashing him on a rock wall. His equally brave wife finished off the pilot by stoving in his skull with a rock.

This betrayal by life long neighbors was so unexpected it changed America's view of Japanese American Citizens.

It is very easy to be smug and self righteous about what we think should have been done. World War 2 was a hard, hard fight and we almost didn't win it.

There is very little information on Niihau and I believe such a crucial event has been hidden in order to condemn America unfairly. We see through a glass darkly and not all is apparent from our vantage point.

It is a DGI Phantom 2 quadcopter. It is the most popular quadcopter made and has brought the RC flying hobby to thousands who have never flown before.

This is a toy which he bought at a Hobby Shop. About a $400 toy but a toy all the same. The FPV equipment and the GoPro camera were extra of course.

The FAA has allowed model aviation for decades and the hobby is overseen by the hobby group the AMA. This hobby includes not only quadcopters but fixed wing planes, helicopters, control line planes, gliders, electric engine and gas motor planes and seaplanes.

This is a very creative hobby and it attracts dynamic people. This hobby has been the gateway for many who have gone into aviation, engineering and the space program. It is essential for cultivating inventors and growing the next generation of people who will build great things in America.

This is why the FAA is proposing new rules to shut down decades of the aero modeling hobby as we know it. The socialist beast does not want anyone to be exceptional and to excel. We need to fight to protect this hobby and our nation.

Good analysis. I hope that more will be swept up in this investigation. The stench of entitlement and corruption in Charlotte is disgusting.

This Charlotte observer article does not take the mayor to task for his corruption. Not once. They instead imply, through second party quotes, that the FBI had some sinister motive to make the mayor look bad and wait until after the election to make a more dramatic arrest.

There was no guarantee that he would have been elected mayor. This lays bare their attitude that it was not a contested election. They act as if the position of mayor was his due and everyone knew he would be mayor "so why did the FBI wait".

Not once in this article did they even hint that there was something wrong with the mayor taking bribes and selling access to light rail development routes so speculators could scoop up prime locations. This reveals how business is done in these corrupt enclaves.

What a brighter world it would be if we did not have to drag the weight of these crooks and thieves along with us. How much of our economy goes to lining the pockets of these crooks? How much more could we do if the burden of this corruption did not sap our resources?

It is not a coincidence that there is a community of 32,000 radical Somalis concentrated in Minneapolis.

There are low key groups who work on bringing in very large groups of people from other countries to change the culture and demographics of our country.

In addition this Somali community works as a Islamic terror cell inside our country by importing the cause of the old war in Mogadishu to our doorstep.

Once here community organizers and social activists descend on the Somali community to educate them on how to access free government programs, welfare, grants and other things you and I never see.

I have seen these Somalis in the Hennepin County (Minneapolis) Court House lining up for benefits or lobbying for rights, fully educated what forms to use, what to say on them and who to see in the government offices. They were coached and trained by activists to milk our system dry. Then to attack it.

These nonprofit selected immigration organizations want to fundamentally change the United States by highly targeted immigration and resettlement in concentrated communities that they can control through their community organizers. There is no attempt at assimilation. They do not want assimilation. They want change.

This is a power play by the City Manager, Johnny Williams, while the mayor was out of town and could not oppose his actions. The mayor fully supports Chief Jordan and will undo this as soon as he gets back. Details from the article:

Mayor Jim Sells is on vacation and was not at the meeting. Selma Coty served as Mayor Pro-Tem and in that role could only vote in case of a tie.

“There was a quorum,” said Coty. “Mr. Cooks and Mr. Lundy voted in favor of the recommendation. Mrs. Jabaley voted against the recommendation. If I had not been in the chair, I, too, would have voted against the recommendation.”

Despite not being at the city council meeting, Mayor Sells gave his opinion about the suspension.

“I am appalled at the council's decision to suspend our police chief without pay,” he said in an email.

“I believe Councilmen Cooks and Lundy have put their personal agenda ahead of the citizens’ best interest in Grantville. They have taken advantage of my absence on vacation and are abusing a dedicated city employee. Chief Jordan has my full support. He has the support of his staff and the community because of the job he is doing. At the next council meeting, with the full council present, I will ask to have his lost pay restored."

Chief Jordan will return to the office on Tuesday.

The WRAL article is now updated. If it is true I stand corrected. It was the man who brought the gun to the show that discharged it, not the LEO. He also did not follow procedure. One he brought a loaded firearm. Second he was uncasing it himself and not allowing the deputy to do it.

    Relevant excerpt from WRAL follows:

Raleigh, N.C. — Officials said the Dixie Gun and Knife Show will continue Sunday without private gun sales after three people, including a retired sheriff's deputy, were injured Saturday when a gun brought in by a patron who planned to sell it accidentally discharged.

A man identified as Linwood Hester, 54, of Durham, brought the 12-gauge shotgun to the show at the North Carolina State Fairgrounds and was attempting to remove it from its case when the weapon went off shortly after 1 p.m., police said.

Hester was struck in the left hand by birdshot, according to Joel Keith, police chief with the state Department of Agriculture. The birdshot also struck a woman identified as Janet Hoover, 54, of Benson, and Jake Alderman, a retired sheriff's deputy from Wake Forest who was working at the event.

Alderman was treated and released at WakeMed North Healthplex for a minor injury, Keith said. Hester and Hoover were taken to WakeMed. Details on their conditions were not immediately available.

Visitors are supposed to allow security officials to check in weapons, Keith said, but Hester removed the gun from its case before personnel had a chance to handle it. The shotgun was laying flat on a table when it discharged.

"I want to emphasize that this was an accident," Keith said. "At the time, no employee, no officer had inspected that gun."

No decision has been made about whether any charges will be filed against Hester, authorities said. The investigation has been turned over to the Wake County Sheriff's Office.

The gun's owner was identified as is Gary Lynn Wilson, 36, of Wilmington.

The show, which is held inside the Jim Graham Building, closed for the remainder of the day but will continue Sunday without private gun sales. Authorities said no personal guns will be allowed on the property. Only guns sold by licensed dealers and vendors will be allowed.

The policy is in place for Sunday, the last day of the show, but won't necessarily be permanent. Keith said. Officials said they will review procedures to determine whether any changes need to be made.

The Dixie Gun and Knife Show has taken place at the fairgrounds for more than 30 years with an excellent track record for safety, officials said.

"If we thought that it was a problem or a hazard or was dangerous, we would not have this show," Keith said. "Let's keep in mind this was an accident, and I'm sure nobody hates this more than the guy that has this weapon."

Since it was a LEO, how convenient that the site is closed for comments.............LOL!

I was headed out for this show today and checked Free Republic before I drove down there. I canceled my trip because of that. I hope it is open tomorrow. This possible false flag is too close to home for me.

I checked WRAL, the local Raleigh mainstream news source of the article. Not a word in their lead article or anywhere else that it was an LEO that discharged the weapon and no word that he was not following basic gun safety procedures.

I phoned the city editor at WRAL, Andy, and told him that piece of information needed to be in the story. Andy said "We are checking it out before we pull the trigger on it". "Cute metaphor" I replied. Andy said "Why I didn't even realize that."

I complained to Andy that it is a purposeful editing of the story to leave it out and I was complaining. I told him it was well know by witnesses and it was all over the Internet but not on WRAL. Andy said thanks and he will check it out.

Thanks for posting. Every bit of new information helps.

The problem here is not the green tea or the poor mice. It is the bagel. Anyone who is having problems with blood sugar levels needs to move away from refined carbohydrates and any sweeteners and move to complex carbohydrates and proteins.

High blood sugar can be a silent killer but more importantly it reduces the quality of life in very subtle and not so subtle ways.

High blood sugar reduces energy levels, makes you thirsty and can cloud thinking and clarity of thought. Yes, the bagel may be hard to leave behind but part of life is setting priorities.

Breakfast can be smoked salmon, barley, lean beef patties from a good butcher, a quiche, chicken gumbo or scrambled eggs.

Our current highly refined carbohydrate diet is a recent post WW2 development. I remember the fairy tale of the woodcutter having a piece of cheese and some milk for breakfast. I wondered how he got by on that.

It takes a shift in gears of how you think about breakfast. If you find breakfast drains you and you are tired later then consider a change. Find out what works for you. Just shift from the simple highly refined carbohydrates to the complex carbohydrates and proteins. It will reflect in your blood sugar level.
